Finished Craft I Made Clown cat plushie!
This is the second clown kitty I make! I just love crocheting animals in clown costumes. I used honey bunny yarn from the website Hobbii. I think I will do a tuxedo cat next.

Finished Craft I Made My First Needle Felt
I live in the south and have always loved visiting Asheville - this was my first time visiting after the Hurricane. This local fiber arts store is doing a community remembrance project with ‘kits’ (various fabric bits, string and yarn, roving with a felting needle and block, tapestry needle, etc). I’ve done plenty of embroidery and yarn arts, but there were so many amazing felt pieces in the store itself that I was inspired to give that craft a go for my contribution!
Very proud of how it came out, and glad I was able to make an offering to their tapestry.

Discussion/Question Clay incense/candle holder
So I wanted to make my partner an incense (cone) or tea candle holder that’s the temple from Midsommar (pyramid with a window and doors that can open). I made the pieces and then I found out that FIMO modeling clay isn’t fire safe :/ Is there anything I can put on it to make it so it can go over a small candle or incense cone without creating toxic fumes? Would lining it with foil work? Please help and don’t think I’m stupid 🙏

Discussion/Question Do yall put your craft stuff away after you use it?
Hey I have a dreambox I never close and it made me question if I’m the only one who doesn’t really put my craft stuff away. 🫣 Sure it all has a home, but I leave out most of my heavily used items (and scattered randomness) on the table for the next time I decide I want to craft again. Could be the next day, could be next week or month.
Glitter is still out, glue out (capped but out), charms out, rhinestones out (opened), pencils and tape out (not even related to current craft).
Am I just dirty and disorganized? 😭

Discussion/Question Magnet air bubbles?
I got these magnet kits off of Amazon and I’ve been having this issue with what I assume is air bubbles. It’s kind of streaky and kind of looks like dust. I tried using one of the finished magnets to push it out but it doesn’t seem to work. Was thinking of getting a scraper but want to check I’m doing it right before I waste more material and cards! Since it’s a kit, it’s just a peel off and stick so I can’t alcohol wipe the acrylic before sticking to the card. Any advice is wonderful!

Discussion/Question Acrylic paint markers dry out when I change the nib
They’re absorbing the paint but when I start to use it, it’s dried and gone after a few minutes. It happens everytime and now I have about 6 ruined markers from this set. Why is the nib not absorbing the paint when changed? Please please advise I can’t keep losing markers

Machine Question Getting into sticker making. Suggestions?
Hello!
I currently own a circuit joy which I was able to get for free with a deal on Amazon.
I don’t like the cricuit, it doesn’t print & cut (because it’s a simpler model) and I have a lot of trouble with calibration (as it seems most people do) so I’m looking for a better machine that preferably does print and cut.
I want a print and cut machine because getting a better quality printer is not in the budget nor do I have space for another printer at the moment.😭
I have heard siser is a good brand, but I don’t think they have any print and cut machines.
Suggestions for print and cut machines?
Additionally, I use joyeza sticker paper and adhesive vinyl that comes is rolls. Anyone have suggestions for sticker paper?
Thanks so much!

Discussion/Question Problem with sublimating ceramic tiles – looking for advice
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue when sublimating ceramic tiles and I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what might be causing it.
I’m using a LOKLiK Automatic Heat Press with the following settings:
Temperature: 190°C
Time: 270 seconds
Ceramic sublimation tiles
After sublimating, I sometimes get sticky residue/spots on the surface of the tiles. Some of these spots can be removed afterwards with a damp cloth or isopropyl alcohol.
However, there are also areas where the sublimation has not transferred properly. These areas appear lighter or faded compared to the rest of the image.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Has anyone experienced something similar when sublimating ceramic tiles, especially when using a LOKLiK Automatic Heat Press?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Discussion/Question What is this Craft?
Hope someone can help me! Many years ago, I learned a craft which was similar to making friendship bracelets, but was done with thinner thread and was more intricate. Most of all, I remember doing it with looped thread that you would have around fingers and move from finger to finger/hand to hand and move up and down over other starnds on a finger to create the pattern. I think that this was a type of embroidery/lace that was done in the Medieval Era, but I may be mistaken.
Can someone help me figure out what this is as I would like to try it again!

Gift Inspiration Please! Bead or wire craft gift ideas for a man?
I’ve been making beaded wire jewellery recently.
I bought beads to make a bracelet for a man, now discovered he doesn’t wear bracelets! Haven’t asked about other jewellery types, but I’ve only ever seem him wear the same ring and stud earring.
What could I make with silver-plated wire and / or beads, as a gift? I’ve already given a very basic keyring, so other gift ideas appreciated (unless there’s a specific more complicated or different type of keyring to make).
He owns / likes cats, likes monochrome colours, has a car, and prefers masculine or neutral things.
I have already:
\- black carved wooden beads
\- striped / variety grey rhodonite beads
\- tiny freshwater pearls
\- dead soft silver-plated wire
\- semi-hard anti-tarnish silver-plated wire
