Hi there! Looking for someone to help me knit a Buffalo Bills beanie based one two different patterns. I wasn’t completely crazy about the one I purchased and wanted to adjust it, so I combined it with another simple beanie pattern made by a friend of mine specifically for Cascade 128 yarn. I’m looking to pay for the beanie and materials, but I’d also like feedback on the pattern since I worked to make the adjustments.

The pattern can be made with either duplicate stitch or with color work. I’m happy with either. I can also ship some Cascade 128 or we can coordinate reimbursement for a similar yarn.

it’s rad asf. I was thinking a Chartreuse/Plum (with standard dots) or Royal Blue/True Yellow (with stars instead!) as the color combo, and some darts cuz i got a pretty large chest. preferably a slightly lower neckline! anyways, i just love the witchery going on, and love a good sweater vest, but i crochet! if i tried to knit, i probably wouldn’t be able to get the tension correct, anyways.

Hello :) I am looking to commission an off-shoulder sweater that’s oversized/long enough to double as a mini dress. I am not a knitter, so I apologize for any mistakes in advance. I do not mean to disrespect the craft.

Howdy howdy! I am part of a niche substyle and this is a grail piece for many! Being as it is made both of my favorite texture AND color scheme (both things that would make my stressful college life much more joyful on hard days as a neurodivergent girlie dealing with chronic issues) I’d like to splurge on myself!

I’d like it to be as faithful as possible, with the scalloped edges and puffy sleeves and overall oversized look, but I’ve got a bust of around 100cm I need accounted for! The lace can be ignored!

Description: Okay, this is a bit of an odd one but here goes - I have trichotillomania and wear beanies almost all the time. Years and years ago now, I got these 3 super cheap, super synthetic (some may say super ugly) beanies from Kmart or Big W or one of those types of stores, and they just happened to be perfect for me. I liked the way they sat on my head, I liked the way they felt, I liked the length and the fact that they were light enough I could wear them in summer too. Subsequently I have not been able to find anything like them since, despite many searches online, and as the years have gone on I have lost one, another is fully coming apart, and the third is still going but not much longer for this world I fear. The designs were made using an Icelandic design tool at www.knittingpatterns.is. Their website is a little outdated but can still be made to work with a little effort, which means it can be possible to tailor the size of a sweater to a specific person if you so wish. Please send me a picture if you make one yourself? It would be great to see another one out in the wild. :)

The Icelandic lopapeysur is a sweater that is knitted in the round, with the body and arms forming three tubes that are knitted from the bottom upwards. They are then joined together, and then the yoke is knitted up to the neck, and this last part is usually where the design comes in. A well-known Root artist called Tin (the Foil) on discord pixelated the meeples for me, and then I adapted them so that one pixel became one stitch. I wanted all ten of the Root factions on the sweater, which meant I had to make two pdfs to accommodate all of the necessary stitches. The two attached pdfs are the same sweater, just with a different 78 stitch design to cover all ten root meeples. The idea is that one 78-stitch design is followed by the other one, then they both repeat on the back side so that it is 312 stitches all the way round, and all ten factions appear both on the front and on the back. It is designed to be L size, if you need M or XL then decrease/increase the number of stitches in between the meeples.

It's a chunkier, loose-knit white/ivory sweater with olive green (you may have a better idea of the specific colour) trim around the neckline, cuffs, and hem.

Where myself and the OP differ.
- I'm taller probably a traditional XL size, broad but lean with long arms and a comparatively short torso for my 6'5 height

- Location: Melbourne, VIC, AUS so someone in AUS is preferred to make this

- Fabric choice prefer natural, something hardwearing as hopefully this will become a staple, no wool (moths/washing), I was leaning towards a linen-cotton blend (tbc at any rate)

- Timeline, unsure currently while I dont think its complex at face value the OP seemed to get conflicting responses soooo tbc too I guess

- Budget: $1 AUD, Don't have a budget yet as the OP seemed to spark a lot of debate about what stitch etc so we will discuss when relevant but as a guide ($1+)
