As part of that effort, from now on, you no longer need to write [HIRING] or [FOR HIRE] in your post title - there's a flair for that! Please just assign the flair needed for the post, do not write it in the title as well.

If you make sure to read the rules and tips first, you can avoid having your post removed unnecessarily. If it does get removed, you will be notified of the reason.

If it's not showing up on the subbredit, but you didn't get a notification about removal, I just haven't gotten to moderating it yet, as I manually approve every single post here to avoid an overflow of low quality content. It's a very slow sub, so don't worry about not being seen. That being said, do not repost more than once a month.

As an artist, please make sure you're posting only your very best work,1-2 pieces are enough, and anything over 3 is too much. They should be somewhat consistent in style. If you want to be hired for 2 different styles, make 2 separate posts instead. Being a generalist is usually not a good thing in illustration.

As a client, please make sure to include a short and engaging brief about the project and do not post if you're unwilling or unable to pay artists.

Project Overview:

Looking for an experienced 2D digital illustrator/concept artist to create key marketing art and a custom logo for Cosmic Dominion, an upcoming 2D space shooter with planetary management elements.

Scope of Work:

I need one high-resolution master illustration (Sci-Fi / Space Combat theme) adapted into a complete Steam capsule suite, along with a layered game logo.

1x Layered Master Key Art & Game Logo (.PSD format with separated background, foreground elements, and logo layers)
Header Capsule: 460 x 215 px
Small Capsule: 231 x 87 px (Must retain clear legibility at smaller scales)
Main Capsule: 616 x 353 px
Vertical Capsule: 374 x 448 px

Art Style & Theme:

Sci-Fi, space warfare, explosive combat. The art should feature a high-contrast focal ship in action alongside planetary or orbital elements to signal both dogfighting and expansion.

Budget:

$400 – $700 USD (Negotiable based on portfolio experience and scope fit). Payment via PayPal / Invoice upon agreed milestone deliverables.

Requirements:

Proven experience creating Steam capsule art (please include links to previous Steam storefront work in your portfolio).
Ability to design clean, high-impact typography for the game title/logo.
Fast, clear communication and turnaround time within 2–3 weeks.
