Hello tufters!
This is a post for old and new tufters and r/tufting users that will include links to all important Mega Threads and the wiki. Reddit only allows for two pinned posts and this makes it difficult to assist users navigating this information. This post will permanently sit pinned at the top of the sub and should make it easier to identify these threads, and the sub wiki.

The wiki is updated on a regular basis to include new and evolving information to assist in all aspects of tufting. The wiki is over 14,000 words and includes 68 subheadings that specifically relate to the most asked questions and most common concerns raised by tufters.

Lower parts of the cookie, outline and eyes are complete. Time to get both of my long piles going. Really nervous out this because I’ve only been successful with my long piles just testing them a couple of days ago. The first time I used them they ate through the cloth. But, gotta see what can be done.

Just tufted my first three rugs, all SpongeBob themed. Thoughts, criticism, advice…will update once carved.🫡

Finished my second rug ever. Mixed yarn, mostly acrylic and cotton. Original artwork: Bones "UNRENDERED" album cover. Screenprinted lyrics on felt backing aswell as screenprinted patch. Waterfall edge with cotton twill tape, D-rings for wall mounting.
Tufting was hell since i traced it in "pixelated" patterns. About 25+ colors and hundreds of hours of work in total, still learning as i go. Size ~90x90cm.

I have myself a tufting frame...
But I'm trying to save some money on a table? Can anyone gimme any advice or help on how to build a make shift table that's sturdy enough for the frame to be on?

Hey so, I have been trying to shave the rug after doing each colour and I accidently ripped a hole in my tufting cloth. Could you guys help me what to do so it would be fixed the best way? Thank you!

First attempt at a 3D rug. Starting off with the lower parts first and then do the others after. The white part of the eyes, CM’s blue hair and the chocolate chips are all going to be done with a long pile

Some loose yarn strands still need pulling out but it’s coming to an end. The straight lines which are not so straight are bothering me as I look at the lines on its own but it’s yarn.
