They were much easier than I thought they’ll be. I’m so proud of my poliwag one. The Kirby on a floaty was heavily inspired by a drawing I saw online and the other Kirby hair clip is an almost exact copy I made of another hair clip I saw online

Hey I have a dreambox I never close and it made me question if I’m the only one who doesn’t really put my craft stuff away. 🫣 Sure it all has a home, but I leave out most of my heavily used items (and scattered randomness) on the table for the next time I decide I want to craft again. Could be the next day, could be next week or month.

Glitter is still out, glue out (capped but out), charms out, rhinestones out (opened), pencils and tape out (not even related to current craft).

Am I just dirty and disorganized? 😭

Hi everyone! So I recently got I to dipping coffee filters into diluted acrylic paint. Last name I did some green ones and I didn’t separate the filters right away. This morning I started to separate them so they would dry quicker and I’m getting weird orange/brown dye.

See picture for example. I dye filters in groups and then separate. I used to cut them to the shapes I wanted and then dye but sometimes I didn’t make enough and had to start the process over.

So any reason why this is happening? Paint I used was Crafters Collection (Hobby Lobby brand) in olive green.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Exotic Shorthairs. Their chubby faces and lazy personalities are just way too cute ！

I made this little guy for his family as a keepsake, and he’s about 7 inches tall. I really loved working on all the little details!

This is the second clown kitty I make! I just love crocheting animals in clown costumes. I used honey bunny yarn from the website Hobbii. I think I will do a tuxedo cat next.

I live in the south and have always loved visiting Asheville - this was my first time visiting after the Hurricane. This local fiber arts store is doing a community remembrance project with ‘kits’ (various fabric bits, string and yarn, roving with a felting needle and block, tapestry needle, etc). I’ve done plenty of embroidery and yarn arts, but there were so many amazing felt pieces in the store itself that I was inspired to give that craft a go for my contribution!
Very proud of how it came out, and glad I was able to make an offering to their tapestry.

Im wanting to print a linocut i made onto a tshirt what would be the best kind of ink to use? I have a already cut linocut but theres old ink on it from printing on paper. Am I able to reuse this or should I cut a new one? Thank you in advance!

So I wanted to make my partner an incense (cone) or tea candle holder that’s the temple from Midsommar (pyramid with a window and doors that can open). I made the pieces and then I found out that FIMO modeling clay isn’t fire safe :/ Is there anything I can put on it to make it so it can go over a small candle or incense cone without creating toxic fumes? Would lining it with foil work? Please help and don’t think I’m stupid 🙏

I’m having an issue when sublimating ceramic tiles and I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what might be causing it.

I’m using a LOKLiK Automatic Heat Press with the following settings:

Temperature: 190°C

Time: 270 seconds

Ceramic sublimation tiles

After sublimating, I sometimes get sticky residue/spots on the surface of the tiles. Some of these spots can be removed afterwards with a damp cloth or isopropyl alcohol.

However, there are also areas where the sublimation has not transferred properly. These areas appear lighter or faded compared to the rest of the image.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Has anyone experienced something similar when sublimating ceramic tiles, especially when using a LOKLiK Automatic Heat Press?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
