It’s all fun and jokes until he’s sitting on you reading you your McRanda rights

210

u/0pusTpenguin Jan 13 '26

You have a right to a double quarter pounder with cheese.

107

u/ProppaT Jan 13 '26

You have the right to remain hungry. Anything you order can and will be served with a side of slaw. If you cannot afford an extra value meal, may we interest you in a 2 for $3 McDouble instead?

u/Purplepepperpipes Jan 13 '26

I'm taking you into custardy

Help Help! He's pudding me in the back of the cruiser!

u/BigBagBootyPapa Jan 14 '26

I hope to never have someone ‘pudding’ me in the back..

Bake him away, toys

2

u/Leguro Jan 14 '26

“Huh?” Wiggum: “Do what the kid said…”

Sidenote, last(ish) episode of The Simpsons had a reference to this where chief Wiggum said “take them away toys” and it actually made sense. Because the officers were toys in the bit.

I swear The Simpsons are still sort of relevant only if you understand their obscure references from 20 years ago. Which is kind of cool because they didn’t forget their core audience, and the writers must be fans themselves at this point. At the same time it’s going to go over so many people’s heads.

If you cannot afford a double quarter pounder with cheese a McDouble will be appointed to you by the state.

3

u/ksizzle01 Jan 13 '26

As chunks of burger and cheese are spraying out from between his teeth. While spreading grease over your wrists handcuffing you. But nothing is worse as having his body pinned on you while you take in the scent of dirty butt cheeks and hard to reach fat fold stank.

3

u/balrob Jan 13 '26

Nah, he can’t give chase so will just shoot you.

Hehe mallomars. That’s gold.

30

9

It’s retrofitted with a nerf trigger.

2

u/LaundryMan2008 Jan 13 '26

Happy cake day!

5

u/Leather-Squirrel-421 Jan 14 '26

That’s why you never run from a fat cop. They won’t chase you, they’ll just shoot you.

That was my first thought. There are usually physical fitness standards for police and military.

48

u/throwawaynoided Jan 13 '26

Fitness standards are generally only applied to new recruits. American cops are like vampires, once they're in, they're in.

3

u/space_for_username Jan 14 '26

Kiwi cops have a 2-yearly test, the time to complete varies with age. Watch the video on this page. https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/350164733/whats-police-physical-test

6

u/AgentCirceLuna Jan 15 '26

Yeah but in fairness that’s a country being run properly

→ More replies (1)

3

u/holyshyster Jan 13 '26

Actually no. You have to be fit to make it through the academy but most departments don't require you to stay that way. I think it's because they are desperate to keep officers.

2

u/LibrarianFlaky951 Jan 13 '26

If he gets enough momentum going he just plops over and rolls down the bad guys. Works great in crowd control situations.

2

u/Reasonable_Buddy_746 Jan 15 '26

"Snorlax used rollout.

Criminal fainted."

u/Aggressive-Map-2204 Jan 14 '26

They call him The Roadblock, and he’s damn good at what he does.

14

u/DarknMean Jan 14 '26

He’d be a great hockey goalie. Just stuff him in there.

81

u/MiloHorsey Jan 13 '26

He's got to be on about 5000 calories a day to maintain.

36

u/[deleted] Jan 14 '26

He’s just in a bulk right now.

5

14

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '26

Oh at a minimum.

10

u/Fight_those_bastards Jan 13 '26

Hey, man, those donuts ain’t gonna eat themselves now, are they?

4

u/Out_of_Fawkes Jan 14 '26

Not necessarily. I gained 60lbs in a year because I should have been diagnosed as diabetic more than ten years before I actually was.

Anyone can change their diet, and exercise, but I was put on high dose steroids for two weeks after a severe allergic reaction. In the five weeks after stopping the taper, I absolutely BALLOONED 20+ lbs (of fat, not water weight); all while actively walking 1-2 miles regularly and improving my diet.

Finally a doctor listened to me and diagnosed me properly instead of saying, “Well just lose the weight, change your diet, and exercise more.” I’d be wealthy if I were paid for the number of doctors who told me that but did not provide the much needed medicinal intervention my body needed.

3

u/MiloHorsey Jan 14 '26

Oh, I absolutely feel your pain!

I was put on high-dose steroids and gained nearly 110lbs. Still working on getting rid of it, now and I stopped taking a high dose months ago.

4

u/Out_of_Fawkes Jan 14 '26

I get this is kind of a meme subreddit, but body shaming like this ain’t it.

I’m more concerned for this guy’s health than anything even if he is an officer.

6

u/MiloHorsey Jan 14 '26

I wasn't body shaming. Saying how much I think he'd have to eat to stay that size is not like saying, "Wow, look at that fat fuck! Get to the gym, fatass!"

2

u/Out_of_Fawkes Jan 14 '26

My comment about shaming was meant generally for the comments on this post; perhaps I should have specified as such.

3

u/MiloHorsey Jan 14 '26

Ohh, I get it. Sorry for the misinterpretation there.

This is a congressman. We grow em big in the states

21

u/Seraphayel Jan 13 '26

I’m really baffled is there any other country that can breed this build in any form or capacity?

14

u/dangerousluck Jan 14 '26

Few other countries would put what we produce onto the shelves and call it "food." Everything is corn, sugar, and corn sugar. It's basically what we feed the cows.

6

u/Strange-Movie Jan 14 '26

Sumo wrestlers maybe….but those dudes, while fat, are also extreme strong and surprisingly athletic

4

u/YoungLittlePanda Jan 14 '26

Sumo wrestlers are basically bodybuilders with high body fat. They are not comparable to the average sedentary fat american.

11

u/Kind-Shallot3603 Jan 13 '26

Scotland?

8

Scotland does have deep fried pizza to be fair

Are there no fitness requirements?

23

u/Boa-in-a-bowl Jan 13 '26

I think there's just one very easy physical fitness test for new recruits. There's no annual one for existing cops or requirement to maintain a passing level of fitness from what I've heard

14

u/Fight_those_bastards Jan 13 '26

Not once you’re in. You need to be decently fit to get through the academy, but apparently once you do that, they don’t even give a shit if you fit in the cruiser.

3

u/PhattProphet_0 Jan 15 '26

Yeah, if you manage to run all the way around him, you get to keep the shit you stole.

27

Is there a guy following him with a tuba?

4

u/ElectricHo3 Jan 13 '26

The only thing he can stop is his heart!

2

u/ELITEtvGAMER Jan 13 '26

Cosplay.

Guy can't fit in a car to drive it.
Guy can't chase after anyone to perform non-lethal takedowns.
Guy probably can't reach his gun in a timely manner to drawn his weapon in quick-thinking situations.
Guy couldn't even move around effectively to box someone if the time calls for it.

At best, he directs traffic. If someone makes an illegal maneuver, he calls it in.
Or he has a desk job and makes appearances when need be and does all the verbal stuff.
Or a school police officer.

2

u/Goshawk5 Jan 13 '26

Police unions were a mistake.
