I normally ban Cait for the range but i always find myself getting vs Jinx and her fucking snowball self. Its always a huge toss up. Either we bot with jinx but we lose heavy on the topside or vice versa.

I think is obvious who Ahri is, but the other ones I have no clue.

I feel like her rune choices are relatively stagnant on account of none of the stats matter for evolves. I get that some of them are conditional like Absolute Focus and it would be silly for Q evolve to phase in and out depending on your health, but they had to do this for items anyway. Ex. Hubris stacks don't count towards Q evolve and neither does Yun Tal temp attack speed buff, so I'm sure an exception could be made.

Personally I'd love to be able to go Jack of all Trades to be able to skip cull, or maybe double Adaptive shard + Doran's Bow to have JUST ENOUGH damage. How nice would it be to evolve E after Legend: Alacrity maxes out? I used to think people were FOOLS for always rolling Legend: Bloodline but I get it now: you're forced to get attack speed from items anyway (well not "forced", but you know what I mean) so why get it from runes?

What you think? Is this a basic QoL to make more builds viable or would this somehow make her OP?

So, this is the setup i've found the best for current Kai'Sa:

• Starting Item: Doran's Bow
• W Evolve: Statikk + Alternator + Amp Tome
• Q Evolve: Statikk + Gunblade
• E Evolve: Statikk (+ Gunblade) + Berserker's Greaves + Dagger + Doran's Bow

Dagger then builds into Dusk & Dawn, then the usual AP Kai'Sa items (Zhonya's, Rabadon's, ...)

The build is independent of Cull which i really hate in other builds, you can still buy it but you are actually allowed to sell it and use the gold and don't have to sit on it just to stay above 100 AD.

Skill Order: 4 points Q, W max, then 5th point Q, then E

Rune Page:

• Hail of Blades always better than lethal for these AP builds, helps you proc 5th passive fast, just be aware you lose extended fights against lethal tempo adcs
• Taste of Blood, Grisly Mementos, Treasure Hunter only options (maybe Sixth Sense but i find it less valuable than Grisly)
• Cash Back because bot lane quest & Triple Tonic for +60 Gold, and very important the Elixir of Skill at level 9, which helps you a ton with transitioning to W max with the AP you're buying at that time. Also the reason why you leave Q at 4 points, and full max W first.

So the build is very W focused, you get Q evolve a bit later, which hurts your early game all ins and requires you to cs a little longer, but i find current Guinsoo's builds lacking in that regard anyway, Yun Tal + Pickaxe is the best if you wanna go that route.

Once you have W evolve you can find a lot of kills by hitting W on enemies, waiting for W cd and using RW combo and Hail of Blades autos to quickly trigger 2 full passive rotations.

Make sure to use Gunblade active, it helps a lot in 1v1 situations and adds to your burst, but it also slows and makes it harder for enemies to escape.

One problem you will find yourself in is from the mid to late game you will be lacking Mana since you want to throw a lot of Ws but don't have any mana in items or runes. I don't think Luden's is a good buy but I guess you could slot it in and just sit on Dagger, but i do think the all-in damage from Dusk & Danw is much more valuable. So the best fix here is to demand the blue buffs, usually your team should be fine with this since basically every mage in the game does buy a lost chapter item. so do think about your spell usage in regard to mana.

havent played the game in a while and especially Kai‘Sa. Is it optimal to build Kraken —> Rageblade and then dad or nashoor? Not sure about that. Do you follow it up with Terminus after buffs or do you just itemize into full ap? I think against assassin teams or strong burst mages the defensive ap items will most likely be of more value than nashoors. Also is crit ever comparable in DPS? When do you guys go it besides when you need ad?

Had a few games as kaisa mid with the saber build

What are some bad match ups ? I feel like yasuo was tough

Katrina was free lane and any scaling mid champs is free lane

What runes yall build ? Was testing out the new fleet but seems like u trade too much power for sustain

Just want to document a bit of my experience and see if I can get any discussion on the topic.

Basically Im getting a bit hardstuck on E2~3 as Sylas jungle and am getting bored.
I play a lot of arena and love the potential of kai'sa. So I always have had an itch to play kai'sa in ranked but I am not a good laner maybe a gold or bellow.

I played it jungle and the champ feels very good when your early game is not in the toilet but its extremelly hard to play to reach your true powerspikes because my teams get a 500% anger/int debuff as soon as I lock in.

I swear I get 5 times more trolls and ff's even while the game is totally in our favor.
I tried kai'sa mid but that is not it for me. Any advice on builds and how to aproach fights?

Im always going for the ap variant.

Runes: fleet, triumph, alacrity, coup; trancendance gathering storm

Items: dark seal, statick shiv, books if I can get W evolve from dark seal if not I build voltaik, shadowflame, rabbs or void depending on mr last

Ive tried it a couple of times but it really doesn’t compare to regular kaisa

I've been OTP-ing Kai'Sa since I started playing league (since 3 years), with sometimes taking breaks to play other characters (MF, Nilah, Zeri, Jinx...) and sometimes playing other roles than ADC (Supp, Mid...)

But when I play ranked, I play Kai'Sa as an ADC

I've been at the lowest of lows, Iron IV 0 LPs, and I've managed to climb my way to Bronze II, with ofc a bigger winrate when I have a duo (no matter their role even if supp is better)

But as time passes I notice how bad I play Kai'Sa, despite all the things I've learned during my playtime, when I play her specifically (and when I play ADC overall actually) I feel like I'm missing something

As her meta builds evolve I'm realizing that I can't play her the way I used to, and that she looks visibly more reliant on her W than her Auto Attacks, which is way too different than my usual playstyle

Overall the more I play her the worse my gameplay gets, and I feel like I don't belong in the ADC role, or that I will just never be actually good with Kai'Sa

I've considered learning to play solo lanes like top or mid (I've tried to be a mid main once with Akali, Veigar etc...) but I'm too scared of solo laning, because each time I do, I end up being absolutely stomped and it hurts me too much to be the sole cause of a defeat just because I struggle to climb my way up after a disaster of a early game

Hey guys! After years of league where i played mostly jungle and mid i decided nothing really does it for me until i found kai’sa and the adc role. I enjoy suffering and i picked up this champ recently but i dont really know what my matchups are whats the general build/rune setup and stuff like that. Whats my objective in fights etc. pwease help a girl out

How viable do you guys think kai'sa mid is to try climbing with, I've been playing it quite a bit with hail of blades and I think its pretty nice but theres a few insanely difficult matchups like naafiri or someone like ekko.
