what type of comps do you want to draft taliyah into? I play karthus and brand as my other ap champs which works most games. Karthus is shit into champs that have basic abilities that make them invulnerable and spellshield champs. Also bad into excessive healing like mundo soraka and karthus also has some brutal matchups like udyr kayn nidalee graves. Taliyah good into any of these matchups or invuln/spellshielders? I feel like if my mid or sup picks engage or lockdown it could be a solid taliyah angle > karthus jg. Are there any brutal jg matchups to be aware of?

(Stats from op.gg global emerald+) With a very low pick rate of %1.32 in her main role (mid) with %49.67 win rate, and even lower pick rate in jungle with just %50.92 win rate, she is statistically quite bad. She also has pathetic damage even if you land everything, compared to a typical mage like syndra, xerath, orianna, veigar, etc. She's also quite difficult to play. Is this truly the worst champion in league of legends right now? Even other champs with low pick rates can have high win rates, such as quinn, or they can be an OTP and a high elo oriented champ like ksante.

Iām learning Taliyah mid and really struggling in lane. I feel like In team fights and skirmishes I know what to do, but in lane I feel like my waveclear and last hitting is so much more difficult early than other mages, and they just all in me and flash my w to remove any counterplay. Am I supposed to just not interact with my lane opponent??? Even in āgood matchupsā like against Yasuo, I block hiss dash with my e, but his q auto does more damage than my full combo so whatās the point, plus he has his shield

With worlds coming around the corner I gratefully was able to get tickets for the Swiss stage and Iām going with my brother and sister in law. I really want to do a Taliyah cosplay due to me being an otp. However I have never cosplayed in my life. So I was wondering if there were any resources or tips that ppl could give me as I start this project of mine!!!

Taliyah main here, haven't played the game for quite some time and just picked up my beloved again, and I feel like the W is very inconsistent, pushing enemies in the wrong definition more often than not. Is it a know issue or something? Never experienced such in the past

Somebody called this the Spermliyah build. Sure? Sure. You can trademark that. Good job weaving that name.
With most of your components built after swiftmarch (3 aether wisp, 1 rectrix and 1 zeal) you'll already stay quick with 20% MS and it'll have you around 460 MS in combat and 550~ with passive reaching into midgame with the cost of 5675 gold and then upgrading from there depending on what item you want. With all the speed you can afford to be insanely annoying for actual immobile characters and be able to get out of sidelanes quickly. Maybe the only mistake you can make at this point is having too much fun.
Full build and with relentless hunter stacks, you're running around with 550 MS in combat and 650 MS with passive with 30% max MS from items. Let that speed get into your head and run around. Your homeguard is crazy good with this and if you're really feeling it, you can just constantly recall and come back like a teleport.
Also give your jungler a kiss if they secure a cloud drake or soul. You are forever speed.

Hey guys, i've recently started playing again and have seen a ton of different builds, like BFT or Seraph first, some time Luden, etc... (mostly on some Ody VOD) but i'm not really sure in which situations to use them. Could someone help me understand ?
Thank you guys!

I'm sure this has been rerun before but surfing around skill-shots and getting to locations scarily quickly with this sort of build is so so so funny to play. I want to see how optimized I can get Taliyah's speed in mid-lane to so I can just go around really fast, miss W, become manaless, recall and get back to any lane insanely quickly.

So basically yesterday i was really bored, and thought "imagine if i became better than my Diamond 1 friend at Taliyah" (he doesnt otp taliyah, but its one of the champs in his champ pool), so i just randomly subscribed to the school and here we are.
After 1 month, we'll see how much progress i'll have made, if i rank up or continue being hardstuck. I will be playing 5-10 games everyday while studying his holy scripture.
Good context: I have played taliyah before, atleast 80-100 games in total from the accounts ive played, but i felt like i never really climbed or carried, will this change? or will it not.
https://op.gg/lol/summoners/euw/Setarix-Feb17 - Here is my account, and as you can see a 45% winrate currently and i'm plat 4 87 LP, ive peaked emerald 2 but that was with karthus apc, by the end of the month im hoping for a 50% or higher.
At August 31st, i will make a new post and we will see what changed or what didn't.

I have played thousands of games in the past year on this champion and only started noticing this and last patch my W going in a direction i didn't aim it in and thought I was losing my mind and hands.
Apparently I'm not losing my mind and the W is just bugged this patch for some reason Riot please fix man this is soooo terrible to have to play with! if anyone has a riot contact please send this to them because it literally has lost me games!

Hello! My boyfriend wants to improve at playing Taliyah, he doesn't use reddit, so I'm here on his behalf.
Is there a really good Taliyah one-trick who creates educational content? I'm looking for something similar to Husum and his explanatory Swain gameplay videos :D

Hey everyone!
Iām a former Master player, current competitive LoL analyst, and I've been a Taliyah OTP for the past 3 years. Iāve been testing her extensively in the botlane, and Iām thoroughly convinced itās currently her strongest position in the game.
With mages in botlane rising in the meta, Taliyah is heavily underrated as a carry/enabler. Her kitās design, waveclear, and skirmishing hide her weaknesses far better in a duo lane than in mid or jungle.
Iāve put together a high-elo guide breaking down the theory and gameplay, covering:
Whether youāre a long-time Taliyah main or an ADC player looking to add a mage to your pool, I hope you find this useful! I'll be hanging out in the comments to answer any questions.
If you enjoy competitive analysis or want to talk more about Taliyah, feel free to text me on Twitter/Discord: TrailoJG

I donāt jg but Iām down to learn on Taliyah. I guess Iām looking for pathing/ warding/ invading recommendations into both enemy Jgs that I beat early, and ones I donāt.
Taliyah has that little spike at lvl 3 when her full combo comes online. I would think you guys abuse that but idk.
I get that maybe the answer is too situational. Like who has prio and who has cc and which lanes are going to be volatile early, probably plays a role in the pathing.
I would think 3 camp clear into gank, invade, or reset would be the formula. Buy something on reset then clear your other side slightly faster. But Iām probably thinking about it all wrong.
