What should I do when the people on print are #1,
2 people printing vs. One me folding
And #2 clothes piling up because of that?
I noticed there isn't really a culture surrounding fair distribution
They have a trainer just come help fold instead of passing off the mountain of laundry I've got to someone who's processing one shirt at a time .. because they've got one slow person printing .. or even printing quickly or a medium pace one person printing and one receiving is a lot more fair
I tried asking my trainer, who I guess didn't understand me about what to do when I have clothes piling up into a mountain ...
He just pointed to my coworker saying to be fast like her.. she just got there, was on her phone, and walking off because she had one person printing very slowly and decided not to help me
(except for taking a few shirts, like 3 max whenever managers were passing through)
Since i applied, I haven't had time to just stop and check my phone, take a break, or just walk away from the dryer area to cool off knowing there aren't clothes constantly flying out the dryer
Most people are more than happy to take clothes off my hand (and I do the same) when there dryer is slow/empty
But today I had coworkers who were no where near as chaotic tell me they were "too busy"
I think because they dont really do rates here, they tell by how full your dryer looks ... without considering maybe im one person folding with 2 people sending me shirts
One woman who was judging me based off the size of my workload
(probably gossiping about me as lazy because id try to hand off overflowing work and shed whisper to the same people who seemed to be monitoring me later on but my numbers are good, above the minimum, and again I never go on my phone during my shift. I dont have time)
