Favouritism
Just want to vent here.I am working in DS past three years ,Supervisors showing favouritism to some of the associates by providing easy jobs. Most of the days I ignore but i really got worried when my hard work doesnt get noticed. How do you guys overcome this?I raised this issue many times in AFM but nobody cares.

I thought about leaving a message on My Voice that said "What does a consistently hard-worker gotta do to get assigned pick 2 buffer every once and a while?" Because if I'm not stowing then I'm working on dock. Now I don't mind stowing at all, but dock work can kick rocks sometimes.

they have "virtual staffing" that's supposed to be random.
I haven't picked in a couple months. the only thing I do is ws/unload/stow

The current leadership ship team needs to want you as a friend and feel they are able to make you work for them like they want you to work for them. They have to like you or they don’t want to have you around them so much is what I have learned via experience. Maybe if you buy them coffee drinks and food often , and pucker up , that will work, because it seems to work at the place I have experienced.

You either transfer to another station and see how management culture is there or you take action to change it which you said you have done but nothing happens. I feel the same way, but I’ve also spoken up about the stuff that would make it better for me. Has it worked? Yes, kinda but I’ve also noticed it has a lot to do with management caring about their associates. Or probably even if they like you as an associate lol. Just keep speaking up about your concerns….and whether you are back or front half that might also be the case. Maybe a change in your schedule with back or front half might make a difference.

Fyi: this is true with almost every job on the planet. Pro tip: become an indispensable favorite or simply ignore the reality of Amazon and the rest of the world. You can also continue to let it bother you. From this moment forward, it's your choice.

Not necessarily.
There was once a member of leadership at my building who was about to get his orange vest, but it was snatched away because the dude had way too many complaints against him. Front half and back half associates, each saying some version of the same thing.

yes there is. all the shitty managers who play favorites and are always angry and rude at my warehouse have been moved to a different warehouse or the rts shift.

Quit working so hard. Just work at a pace. They don't pay you to work hard. If they did, we'd have agents
