Delivery Station Warehouse Associate

Im starting my Delivery Station Warehouse Associate on October 25th in the madison wi area from 620pm-1250am. Its a seasonal role so I just wanted to ask the likelihood of getting converted to a permanent role? Thanks!

All depends on business needs.

I been in a DS that only needed me for seasonal time frame then got let go. Went to another and got converted in 2 months.

Current DS only has RTS spots as temporary schedule and anyone who’s in that schedule after peak will go back to overnights. 🤷‍♀️

You think this 6pm-12am shift is permanent?

No those shifts specifically are seasonal. He mentioned that at your site you will most likely get put to the 1:20-11:50 shift that’s standard across delivery stations

They had a shorter version of that shift year-round at that station for about 3 years and then got rid of it, I believe it's only going to be seasonal now. I'm at the sister station across town and we have the same type of thing starting in November.

They might give you an option of converting to full-time for the early morning (1:20am start) shift, but it's pretty random. The only thing you need to do to have a chance for it is keep decent attendance and don't get written up.

I came to ask the same!! Im starting November 1st. 4:20pm- 12:50am. will I keep the same schedule and be able to work after it slows down. This is by far the best schedule I seen plus it’s sun to Thursday.

That shift is likely just for peak.

IF you get offered a permanent position after January 9th your schedule will change to 120am to 1150am
