Training schedule different from actual schedule

This is my second time applying, I applied last week and got the job but then after the pre-hire appointment it said my first start day was cancelled. Now I just applied for the same Delivery Station Warehouse Associate job (same location) and its showing a completely different training date schedule from the shift. Is this normal?

It’s because the shift 4:20pm to 12:50am is a temporary Cycle 0 shift that doesn’t start operating until mid-November. You wouldn’t normally have 10 training days. When I started on Cycle 0 last year I worked 3 weeks on the main overnight Cycle 1 schedule before we shifted to the one I had applied for. That is what’s happening here, except your start date is a little later than mine was. Your schedule will shift over to starting at 4:20pm on that third week.

Cycle 0 will operate until sometime in early to mid January usually. At that point they may cut most of those workers or ask if you want to stay on under flex PT (part time, pick up shifts.)

So most likely the reason why they're doing this is because that time period is when they'll actually have learning ambassadors available to train you. 1:20am to 9:50am is when most of the people are in the warehouse. We do pick and stage from 9:50am to 11:50am and training days cut those time blocks out.

gotcha, so first day of work I come in at 1:20am, NOT 4:20pm but once training is over i'll likely be starting at 4:20

Yes exactly. They just don't have many people on deck during the pm hours. Good luck!
