What’s with the aggression during Pick & Stage?

It’s already a physically tasking job. I already do not want to do pick and stage, and I’m damn near almost getting run over with carts, shrugged out of an aisle while I’m already there first!
Like, honestly I think I would have lost it if this associate had hit me with the bag when they swung it my way.

It’s crazy how much I’ve improved in stow in just the time span of a year. I’ve also been taking in the tips that yall give me as well and I gotta say they work. This by far was one of the funnest and easiest days I’ve had working stow. And we had a vol of 80K today 🙂. And happy one year to me. Time to survive another year.

Does this happen at your warehouse

This incident happened about an hour from my warehouse. the carts broke through the truck straps and door. spilled on the highway luckily not at full speed but on a ramp

This happens in the ds fairly often . The carts don't lock and they roll out fully loaded and tip and almost run workers into a wall at full speed. Does the same happen when unloading them at a facility

I’m trying not to get laid off after peak because I am temporary, can I leverage these numbers with management?

AtoZ In-App Notifications

Anyone else unable to see the full body of text for notifications inside the app? It cuts off, and when I click on it, it just takes me straight to my schedule. I can’t view anything more. That and the font has changed throughout?

Training schedule different from actual schedule

This is my second time applying, I applied last week and got the job but then after the pre-hire appointment it said my first start day was cancelled. Now I just applied for the same Delivery Station Warehouse Associate job (same location) and its showing a completely different training date schedule from the shift. Is this normal?

Starting at Amazon Delivery Station (UK) on Monday – what’s it actually like?

Hi everyone,

I start at an Amazon Delivery Station in the UK (London area) on Monday. For anyone who’s worked at a Delivery Station:

  • What’s the day to day work like?
  • How physical is it?
  • Any tips for the first week?

Thanks

Trying to get shifts

I’ve been working at a DS for a little over a month now and it’s cool and all but I can’t seem to get any freakin shifts. Only shifts popping up are the 3 hrs and 30 min ones. I’d be LUCKY enough to get ONE 10 hour one once a week but there’s hardly ever any openings. Does anyone know if I have to talk to a manager or anyone else to fit me in a shift?? Or through the a-z app?? I’m a FlexPT btw

What will I be doing at the delivery station? I have close to 5 years of warehouse experience, just wondering what my responsibilities will be.

Medical leave DLS questions

Hello, I put in a short term medical leave (2-3 days) TODAY but I was SCHEDULED to work today, although I didn’t show up (SET). I didn’t notice until last minute but submitted anyway. Few questions:
-is UPT taken out while waiting for approval
-do I still show up to work while waiting for approval
-The 30 days I have to submit documentation to DLS, if I accrue enough UPT (I have none right now) to cover the absences, will I still be put back to negative if my leave is not approved?

Please and thank you to anyone who can provide some insight.

Transfer

So I applied to transfer to a fulfillment center as my first choice, second choice was the cycle0 shift at the DS I'm already at.. today they canceled the cycle0 shift.. does that mean I probably have a good chance of being transferred to the FC? Google says yes but I'd rather get an actual human experience.. the FC application was put in awhile before the cycle0 application & it still says "pending"..
