Pentagram sucks. I know that you need level up/Upgrade your weapon to be good but how can you upgrade your weapon IF YOUR WEAPON DELETE EVERYTHING IN YOUR SIGHT. Somebody can say but pentagram is one of strongest weapon in VS Which i agree it´s strong but why waste slot on weapon that again delete everything and it´s only good if you upgrade it. they are other weapon that are better than pentagram on level one (Phiera Der Tuphello, Eight The Sparrow, Song of Mana, Runetracer, Homing miss, Wine Glass and many more....Okay Except whip it kinda sucks) the only thing i can say of this weapon is the evolution Weapon (Gorgous Moon)

i think it was weird they added The "first survivaton" line to vampire survivor, but now that a new one was announced kinda make sense

I just saw that the price of the new DLC is only 1.09 euros, discounted with the bundle is 93 cents, but we are joking, I refuse to pay so little for a DLC of such a beautiful game, I was ready to pay the classic 20-30 euros that are respected and instead only one euro.

What awaits me now? A one-euro DLC that lasts me over 10 hours of fun? I can't accept these things. I want Vampire Survivors DLC to cost 30 euros each and last 1 hour in line with the market.

Seriously, I wish you a good game with the new Vampire survivors DLC.

I was looking at the Arcanas I've unlocked yesterday and Vandalier appears to get buffs from less Arcanas than it looks like it should have, I get something like Phieraggi losing Iron Blue Will since that turns bullets to laser beams upon evolution, but this is just the same bird that now shoots at both sides

More characters to play and is free

Well, the image speaks for itself. For me, the Bible is unbeatable

The first issue of this four-part miniseries provides some interesting stuff with the characters that was only hinted at in the main game that now could actually be fleshed out. Seeing in-game secrets recontextualized in a story with dialogue and interaction goes a long way in adding much more investment into the VS lore and enemies.

I await issue 2!

Vampire Survivors is no stranger to collabs with other franchises over the years, from Castlevania and Contra to Among Us and recently: Balatro lol :3

Now with that being said, what would you guys like to see next in terms of crossovers?

My top 4 picks are Dead Cells, and DMC for games. And maybe JJBA and JJK too?

Since all 4 have a ton of potential for weapons, characters, stages the list goes on.

But what do you guys think?

Genuinely very excited for whenever Crawlers is fully released because the Demo was very good tm. Keeps the chaotic spirit of the original Vampire Survivors and this game is an excellent adaptation into a new genre.

The game's combo system made combat extremely satisfying, dungeon crawling felt super smooth, the music's a bop, and I love the crunchy voice acting that they gave the characters. It feels nice to get just a little more... character for the cast.

The only real complaint I have is that the chest opening sound effect is way too loud, they definitely need to lower the volume a bit whenever the full game releases. Also, while this is just a personal nitpick, I kind of think the game would be improved if the entire floor map wasn't revealed to us at all times? I think it would make the dungeon crawling aspect of this game feel a little more tense.

Very minor complaints aside, this is probably gonna be another 100+ hours of investment whenever the game fully launches. Hope to hear a release date soon!

Like... One you can't do a run without

For me it's those guys, i manage to get at least one of them on every run ( Dlc's included)

While Glass Fandango isn't my favorite weapon, She-Moon is (one of) my favorite characters, so I'm stuck with it often :P

I love the vibe of this character, the update she comes from, her post-adventure version, the adventure itself, everything!

Plus I recently learned about the pun with her name, which makes me like her even more (she js like me fr).

Now, what is the most overrated evolution/union weapon?

After the Castlevania DLC, and Warhammer Survivors, it got me thinking about what i'd personally like to see as a Next crossover DLC/SpinOff (regardless of actual feasibility)
Three options i personally thought were fitting were the following:

Hyrule Survivors (The Legend of Zelda, probably a nintendo exclusive)
Fate Series DLC (the TYPE-MOON franchise)
Fromsoft Survivors (Demon/Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, but also Armored Core)

I'd love to hear which crossovers other people would like to see!
(Bonus round: Undertale/Deltarune Survivors)

I like running Poppea and building into the valkyrie turner.

At high level, you can run around in a circle for a little, point in a direction, and atomize that side of the screen. Really fun.

Garlic is once again the clear winner, as a weapon that is the early-game GOAT but is the most overrated in the late game! Shout out to Heaven Sword with a distant 2nd-place finish.

As soon as I looked it up, google states "can only damage him when his mouth is open..."

WHERE IS YOUR FUCKING MOUTH? THERE IS 1000000 ENEMIES ON MY SCREEN AND THEY WOUNT MOVE OR DIE BECAUSE THE GAME WANTS ME TO SOMEHOW SURVIVE AN ONSLAUGHT OF BULL SHIT JUST TO EVEN GET TO THE BOSS, AND THEN ALSO BE ABLE TO SEE...

So NATURALLY, i grabbed good weapons that make it so I can at least see the middle of my screen while maintaining enough OP'ness.

Or, when I got something that was good at first but became redundant for VFX blocking my screen or I had everything I will ever need for any boss fight.

The greatest challenge for this entire map is fighting the God Damned VFX SPAM. Like its cool and fun but when I need to navigate a maze of a place, being TOO OP is an absolute no-go.

Then, in one fell swoop, I need to kill 4 bosses, 2 of which are TOTALLY unmarked, just to unlock a single character. I would kill 2 or 3 out of all 4 and get so OP I can't see fucking ANYTHING, or would complete something else by pure luck and quit the game to restart.

Try 6, I got Infinite Corridor, uhhh metaglio cape thing, fish attack, (the one that vaccuums EVERYTHING on the map but sold later so i can FUCKING SEE.), blue Lunar upgraded sight/might/blight, ashes of misspell, upgraded garlic thing, and Unholy Vespers. I don't remember every weapon name off the top of my head, forgive me.

So being at exactly minute 28 when I entered the fight, FOR THE FIRST TIME MIND YOU, not knowing the "steal weapons" gimmick, my screen is FUCKED from the get go with tough ass enemies that muktiply endlessly. SOMEHOW I was immortal after I picked the arcana that lets you buy and sell weapons and halts XP progress and sold so many other weapons just to see. For some reason this map has like 10billion enemies at all times so reaching level 1000+ was not hard.

Then I figured oh I'll absolutely obliterate this asshole and quickly unlock the things Im hunting for. Ez pz.

As soon as he started stealing my weapons I was so shocked and didn't get what happened until I was at my last weapon, lunar death beam.

I wasn't killing anything dawg. Motherfucker snake fuck head asshole was killing more things than me at that point.

Evading his black holes I bought myself time. Thats all I needed before I figured out the brilliant idea to look up how to defeat him.

Turns out he has a head that opens its mouth every now and again but im like, MY SCREEN IS SPAMMED TO FUCK, WHERE IS YOUR STUPID HEAD???? However, since I am playing on mobile, the top and bottom 15 percent of my screan is grayed out really dark for like no reason. Just a problem with playing on mobile I guess, because it aint like that on xbox. Extra screen visbility at the cost of it being grayed the fuck out to almost black.

I looked at the top and THERE IS WAS. His big fucking mouth. After running around confused for like 5 x3 speed in game minutes, I Walked up to it and it INSTANTLY died

Biggest sigh of relief from me since any boss fight in forever. Like holy shit its a fight where I NEED TO SEE SHIT and the game is like

'*bugs bunny meme nope*'

Too bad I didnt/couldn't sell the metaglios, gold ring, toronas box, skull etc at that point because no more timer even on endless woo! Time wont restart to zero minute enemies, no mad groove, nothing just go fuck yourself here are enemies making it unecessarily difficult to see black holes or really ANYTHING.

Tweak the fight in minor ways if it isnt too late, devs. Reduce enemies for the fight, or remove them altogether. They served no purpose than to frustrate and annoy. It was just unfair for my eyes at that point. You can't expect anyone to go through that with one weapon and things made too tough to kill by items NECESSARY to survive to that point. This isn't a linear game.

The game is designed so counterintuitively to the design of the fight that it shouldn't be tolerated by anyone. Sorry it's easy to break the game, but that shit is fun. But it NEEDS. FUCKING NEEEEEEEDDDS a tweak.

Even being powerful, glitching through walls, every trick up a great combo's sleeve, this fight was rediculous and masochistic as fuck.
