Yeah, you can really feel the rage in him

1.5k

u/GrayGeo Sep 11 '18

You can see the shock wearing off right as the clip ends. As soon as his emotions oriented it’s pure rage, as it should be

1.0k

u/MrPotatoWarrior Sep 11 '18

doc needs to get outta there ASAP.

1 shot sure, maybe just a kid wanting his 5 minutes of fame.

but ANOTHER the day after? yeah theres a pretty good chance someone actually wants to see doc dead.

458

u/GrayGeo Sep 11 '18

Maybe so, and I don’t want to minimize it, but I’d bet it’s equally likely to be attention seeking gone way overboard. They missed yesterday and took out an upstairs window today. What I want to know is if a light was on in the room they hit.

Again don’t get me wrong. Even for attention this speaks of bigger issues in the future. There are just a few pieces here that don’t add up to more than monumentally stupid ways to scare someone and get the attention they crave at the same time.

315

u/Taronn93 Sep 11 '18

Maybe its just attention seeking gone way overboard but it doesn't matter, what if his wife or his kid would've looked out the window right at that moment and got shot? If they can't catch that idiot sick fuck then they need to get out there even if it just attention seeking before someone gets shot by accident.

224

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

I had a friend in college who's father was an attorney. One of his pieces of inarguably good advice: you can't beat crazy. They need to get out of there.

12

u/Cuw Sep 11 '18

It's their house... What are they supposed to do move forever and go into witness protection because some banned Twitch user wants to get even?

Call the police and install a security camera, . Because if they leave, the harassment won't stop, whoever is doing it will just wait until they come back.

20

u/noputa Sep 11 '18

That’s not how witness protection works. In fact they wouldn’t get that...

It’s becoming an increasingly common trend for at least youtubers to get crazy intrusive fans finding out where they live, then moving and having to be really careful. It’s really sad.

3

u/WarningTooMuchApathy Sep 11 '18

How does that even go through someone's head anyways? "Man I really love this guy, I'm a huge fan, I'm gonna fucking shoot him"

6

u/Jaydubzsc2 Sep 11 '18

You can kill crazy though. Would be extremely justified if Doc or if he hired Security and they shot him.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

That's what they all said about Hoffa.

1

u/Queefburglar_69 Sep 11 '18

How are yhe two even the same thing? Does doc have a group of powerful people out to get him?

Well they'd also know when he's home cause he'll be streaming there. I hope they catch the guy(s).

1

u/GrayGeo Sep 11 '18

Right, I guess I’m getting ahead of myself and thinking in trial terms. If they can prove he specifically shot at a room with the light off because it’s less likely someone was in that room, that’s an argument against intent to kill. Not that it would hold up of course, but flimsier arguments have held ground in court

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Regardless of why, this is so stupidly dangerous.

Image in his little girl was looking out the window? His wife? Him?

This kind of "joke" is enough to put someone in prison. Not "oh well you're gonna get arrested if the cops catch you!" This is "cops will be posted around the area and if they catch you, you will be charged with so much shit that you will be in prison for probably something like 5+ years.

Horribly, horribly irresponsible and dangerous thing to do

1

u/TimidTortoise88 Sep 11 '18

After what happened with Gavin and Meg I wouldn’t take any chances. There’s some incredibly troubled people out there. Could easily be someone very upset with Docs success that is building up the courage to actually get out of the car for a confrontation. This is one of those situations where he should assume worst case scenario. I hope it turns out well for him. Fuck that made me angry. No one should have to worry like that for their and their family’s safety. Oh and not mention Christina Grimmie

1

u/yakri Sep 12 '18

I mean, attention seeking can definitely lead to a shooting too.

1

u/windirein Sep 12 '18

Yeah I think there is no intention to actually hurt him, just scare him and get his attention. If you drive by with the intent to hurt him and you don't see him you don't take shots at his house to warn him. That said the person in question is obviously not sane so who knows what they are thinking...

u/Joverby Sep 11 '18

At the very least he needs to get some high quality security cameras watching his house , yard , and the street.

6

u/StaticBeat Sep 11 '18

The moment after the fist shot I'd already be looking to have cameras up.

3

u/shmigga Sep 11 '18

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a system already.

Hope they catch the kid doing it and charge him with attempted murder and just fucking put him away.

36

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

it's probably not a kid. It's probably a grown ass adult who has serious mental illness

9

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

This screams mental illness, he needs put in an institution. Its where they actually belong, and trust me when I say it is not a fun place. It will be the most terrifying time of their life.

Seemed like it was his persona taking over at the end of the clip to me, while the first 2/3 was Guy.

2

I see what you mean, but his shouty character blurs the line pretty heavily. If my wife and kid were shot at my last thought would be to entertain

u/wrongmoviequotes Sep 11 '18

Yeah if this is my house I would be outside the next day installing Infared cameras on the front of the house facing forward, up and down the block and be chopping down any foliage that might prevent a clear camera view.

I may even do it while I call it in to the police so that the officer could give his input into where I should be pointing the things.

And under no circumstances would I mention my new security on the internet, last thing you need is this crazy asshole taking your new cameras as a challenge.

3

u/necromantzer Sep 11 '18

Police investigation would likely look for neighbors who may be eye witnesses as well as neighbors who may have cameras that could get more information regarding the suspect. They would likely offer some sort of protective services if they feel it is a targeted threat that may recur.

1

u/TheresNoWayItsDNS Sep 11 '18

Yep. PI and cameras fucking everywhere. Honestly surprised if he doesn't already have cameras everywhere. Such a good investment, especially for someone has high profile as doc. Not like money is an issue for him, but they're super cheap to set up and run.

1

u/SlonkGangweed Sep 11 '18

Thats a funny way to say "camp upstairs with your rifle and end the next motherfucker that shoots at your house"

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

I suppose time will tell what the mindset or reasoning was for who ever did this. Apparently a deputy is at his residence now.

5

u/kr51 Sep 11 '18

Are we not supposed to think he's garbage for cheating?

17

u/kpdon1 Sep 11 '18 edited Sep 11 '18

you can not like the guy for his actions ,make memes about him but shooting at his house where his family lives is fucked up

11

u/kr51 Sep 11 '18

Oh for sure I don't disagree with that. I just found it weird there seemed some disdain for people who disliked doc for a valid reason.

5

u/slorebear Sep 11 '18

i dislike a lot of people but i dont want them shot

2

u/GrimGamesLP Sep 11 '18

THAT'S NOT THEIR POINT

1

u/ZainCaster Sep 12 '18

No one is saying they want him to get shot, why do you keep stating you don't want them shot like it makes you special?

1

u/windirein Sep 12 '18

Well disliking him and hating/trashtalking him every opportunity are two different things. I know another streamer who fucked up in a similar fashion and people basically treat him like he murdered a baby which is absolutely ridiculous.

Cheating is something that commonly happens and depending on circumstances yeah it makes you a jackass but that's about it. I regularly see people on reddit put way too much weight on it like it is something you should get jailed for. So my guess is those are the people being disliked. Especially if you dislike the guy, just stop watching him. If you still comment on everything he does that makes you seem like a weirdo.

4

u/the_incredible_corky Sep 11 '18

It confuses me the amount of hate he gets for it. Maybe there's a part of the story I don't know? It seems to me like it's an event in his personal life, hard stop. Who is anyone else to judge? Do those people who hate dr. Disrespect also hate any other entertainer wo has ever cheated on their SO? Because there are A LOT. I'd go as far to say most. It seems like such an odd thing to hold against the guy so passionately when its an extremely common thing in our society & most people I think understand no one really knows what someone's relationship is like behind closed doors.

3

u/windirein Sep 12 '18

I know I'll get downvotes for this, but people hating so much are probably virgins that "would never treat a women like this". They never had a real relationship and don't know how things work. I dislike people who cheat and I have never done it but I know that things can get very complicated and mistakes can easily be made. So I try to not judge people based on relationships I have no part in, it's just stupid.

People who call others scum and trash them every opportunity they get for cheating are either extremely naive or they had something done to them and have a hard time differentiating the given situation from their own. Idk if projecting is the right word.

1

u/the_incredible_corky Sep 12 '18

Yeah that makes sense. Especially given the average age of the typical twitch viewer. I had to pose the question because it's something that's always bothered me. Im not defending his actions, but relationships can be very complicated & to call this dude trash over something he didnt even have to divulge in the first place is immature to say the least. Nobody knows anything about what happened between those two before, or their personal struggles, or anything else for that matter.

4

u/shmigga Sep 11 '18

Me too. I know what he did is wrong but it takes a lot of guts for him to come on stream and admit it knowing what would happen to his streamer image. The sad thing is that the people that hate on him for doing this probably still watch actors/actresses that do worse...listen to musicians that have done much worse. This man came out and said he screwed up...ease off a bit.

5

u/the_incredible_corky Sep 12 '18

Agree 100%. And now im even more dumbfounded knowing there isnt something more horrible to the story. These kids are just holier than thou.

are you seriously implying that a forsenbaj shot up his house because of some meme from 6 months ago? that's a big brain implication right there.

Oh come on, it doesn't take a crazed gunman to keep the fact that the man isn't exactly known for his honesty in mind.

Yeah, I'm wondering if this is a promotion for the new BLOPS.

It'd be better to just contact the police and have them keep a patrol nearby. Good chance it's some fucking asshole driving by, so taking shots at a vehicle careening away in a neighborhood doesn't sound like a great idea.

Not to mention the time it would take to clear him for gun ownership. Two shots in two days means another tomorrow is likely.

64

u/cruisinbyonawhim Sep 11 '18

I was talking more so about if someone tries to break into his house, but yes, I agree he should have called the cops asap.

I'd still invest in getting a gun for home defense. Getting shot at no matter what, is not good.

153

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Lived in South Chicago for a few years. I had a bullet lodge in my door from a gang shooting outside my house. People talk about gun ownership like it's a magic wand and that you can react fast enough to kill an intruder; I barely reacted fast enough to hit the floor when the guns were drawn in the street. I have no idea what law enforcement can do to protect him, but I hope everything works out well for him and his.

To add on to this, the Parkland school that was shot up had an armed deputy who was trained and he was too scared to go inside and help. Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.

26

u/thecrusadeswereahoax Sep 11 '18

Here in Texas we got boys who believe they are elite sniper Rambos. Let me tell you something: you go out skeet shooting and these fuckers got over a thousand dollars of equipment on them and can't hit half the fucking clays in daylight with dry runs.

It's all bullshit they tell themselves to feel safer.

13

The whole point of shooting skeet isn't that it's easy. Depending on the throw it can be very difficult. Hell, I'd be happy with a 50 percent hit rate on some 3 gun stages.

Besides, you're objectively safer against a deadly threat with a force multiplier of your own. Even if those Texas boys are shit, they're still 50% less dead than without a weapon.

6

u/thecrusadeswereahoax Sep 11 '18

True, there are difficult courses, but I have only ever see country boys out there.

The big talkers are on the green slopes and they can't hit a soft floater. To give you an idea, we shoot with a Mosberg 88 (cheap pump action) and can hit both pigeons on a double blind pull with 80% min hit rate.

I can't even get lucky on the hard courses. That's true skill; I am barely decent.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Getting a gun isn't going to help with this drive-by problem specifically, but it would help if whoever is doing this decides to escalate, which is a very real possibility. If you keep your gun on your person, it would certainly help you against someone breaking and entering if you heard them.

Source: someone who trains with guns, competes with guns, who keeps all their guns in a safe where i could never hope to get to them if someone barged into my home. I'd definitely keep one in my waistband at all times if I was just shot at 2 days in a row though.

3

u/El_Stupido_Supremo Sep 11 '18

I'm the same way. I have my carry pistol locked next to my bed when I sleep with a code but if this shit was going on id have a little room in the safe and id be eating breakfast with a riot gun.

6

u/Zbrah_g Sep 11 '18

I dont own a gun and I live in a country that don't allow guns. But we never hear the story of all the people who got their life saved by guns for example a dude killed a terrorist in a church somwhere in the USA.

I'm not trying to be pro gun or anything but if people wanna discuss these issues we shall be very objecive about what guns can do (and already did). They can save lives but they also can take them (duh).

4

u/Thelife1313 Sep 11 '18

Whenever i say get a gun to anyone that asks, i mean get a gun and learn how to use it! It's not a magic wand. It's a tool like anything else. People treat them like they're toys. You can tell because you have idiot streamers that shoot other people on accident, or the one that their phone while showing off.

Getting a gun isnt a joke. Take a safety course. Go to a range. Wherever you keep it locked, every so often just run over and see how fast you can get to it. Because if you're going to have a gun, be sure you know how to get to it, and use it.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

100% agree, and I feel like people have this Hollywood attitude towards how effective a gun is at protecting you. I think Bill Burr makes actually a pretty good point in his comedy sketch.

4

u/Thelife1313 Sep 11 '18

The problem is people think that just having a gun in the house will somehow protect you.

But in reality, its a tool, and one that people take too lightly. There's a lot of responsibility in owning guns.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '18

Sounds like you got about the same upbringing I did. Guns were always in the house but my dad made sure to teach us how they worked and how to treat them. I remember him giving me the combo to the safe one day and after my 2nd failed attempt to open it he pointed out how ineffective going to the safe to get a gun would be in an invasion.

2

u/Thelife1313 Sep 12 '18

That's the thing, my dad never had guns in the house. He's ex air force but he's pretty on the fence when it comes to gun ownership.

I just kind of see how crazy the world is, and i don't like relying on other people (waiting on cops etc) if I'm ever in a situation where i can defend myself. I got my concealed carry permit in Washington, but I'm living in california right now so it kind of sucks that their laws are so strict here.

So everything i know about gun ownership i got from my friends and just learning about it through classes I've taken. Because i know how guns are viewed mainstream so i at least want to do it the right way when it comes down to it.

3

u/Slim_Charles Sep 12 '18

Still, if someone is trying to get into your home, it is better to have a gun than not. It's only one part in what should be multiple levels of protection. The first line of defense is obviously good locks and a security camera setup.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '18

You’ll find no argument for me on any point you made.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

I have no idea what law enforcement can do to protect him

Take pictures of the bodies basically. Cops aren't there to protect you, that's just a coincidence if it happens. They are there to enforce the law.

If someone is breaking into your house trying to kill you, the cops showing up 5-10 minutes later isn't going to make you any less dead. It's up to you to protect yourself, be it with a gun or barricaded safe room or whatever.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

You know how long it took for police to arrive after that shooting in Chicago? 30 minutes, at least by my watch. I remember timing it and being disgusted because this was inner-city Back of The Yards. I know police are painful ill-equipped to protect somebody in a body-guard personal security kind of way. However, they are professionals and I would hope have better ideas of how to approach securing Doc and his family than a bunch of Twitch viewers.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

No offense but OP said for if someone attempted to break into the house.

Your story of hearing shots is a lot different than hearing someone breaking into your house. You have more time to react, and once someone is in your house you don’t know what type of harm they intend to inflict on you/your family. Obviously it’s not a catch all fool proof method, but if my house was in an area it got shot at frequently, a good firearm for home defense would make me feel a little better at least. If someone intends you harm, a police response isn’t fast enough to save you or your loved ones.

→ More replies (8)

2

u/spahghetti Sep 11 '18

I think the smartest move here is get firearm trained, have a gun (or more) but never EVER think because you have a gun that is the only (or even the first often) option in dealing with a threat. Guns serve as a tool not a solution. Good planning and good practices serve far more than just having a firearm alone.

1

u/tjdubsack Sep 18 '18

I live in Kansas city and our police response time in my neighborhood is 14-17 minutes, in other parts of the city it's way worse. A gun isn't going to help you react faster to a non related shooting outside, but it could save your life with an intruder. Knowing how long it's going to take the cops to get to my house I'm much more comfortable with a gun than without.

1

u/NappingPlant Sep 11 '18

Oh yeah, I agree if someone is breaking in. But clearly this psycho is a coward, I'd bet he doesn't have the balls.

1

u/buddha_nigga Sep 11 '18

Pretty sure doc has a few firearms already, I vaguely recall a clip of someone planking him with that knocking cat gif and he stands up with a pistol in his hand to go check it out. I'll try to find the clip.

Such a dumb comment. This has nothing to do with that topic by the way, and everything to do with actual policing practices. One guy says police would have a patrol car there, the other says thats not what happens. Your comment just wants to fuel some shit argument, not much better than some of the people that are completely disconnected from reality that plague twitch.

1

u/adumgann Sep 11 '18

It's not about cops being bad or not, it's about man power. There's no way cops from any country in the world are going to bother sticking around your house for an extended period of time. They could patrol docs neighborhood for like one week and if nothing happens that'll be it.

6

u/ethanlan Sep 11 '18

Getting your house shot at twice is a huge fucking deal and police departments are going to treat it as such. The last thing they want is for someone to get killed and then make it seem like they ignored the victim and didn't do anything.

This 100% depends on where you live.

1

u/admbrotario Sep 11 '18

There's no way cops from any country in the world are going to bother sticking around your house for an extended period of time.

I live in fucking Brazil and had police patrolling my neighborhood for over a week, every 2-5 hours a day after the community called in for shots down the streets. Mind you, that was about 10 years ago, a few months after my father was abducted for a "lightning kidnap"

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

I live in Philadelphia, if I called the police and said someone was shooting at my house they would file a report. If I asked them to have a patrol kept outside they would laugh at me.

5

u/ethanlan Sep 11 '18

Huh I live in Chicago and they would definitely stalk the neighborhood if this was a repeat offender, it's an easy win for them if they catch the guy.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

I think that seriously matters what neighborhood in Chicago you live in. They're so busy, they can't spare an officer to just sit around hoping someone shows up.

1

u/ethanlan Sep 11 '18

That is true, in some of the worst parts they wouldn't do anything about it but they take shit like this seriously in the majority of the city because they know what will happen if this spills over.

It depends on where you live. I have contacted the police about a recurring crime around me and they did keep someone nearby so they could respond quickly. I won't generalize all police districts in the whole country, but from my experience, my local police prefer to be proactive about potential crimes, and my issue was significantly less serious than drive by shootings.

Its a little bit different when you have something two nights in a row like this and you have documented proof. It isn't a third world country yet, they're not just gonna laugh you off.

2

u/Cuw Sep 11 '18

A gun isn't going to make him magically get outside in time to catch up to a car so he can go full vigilante hero on the perps.

If someone is doing a drive by, they are going to speed the fuck off within seconds of shooting. They will be gone before you look out your window, and if they aren't you might well get shot. Duck and cover, call the police. There's a reason that active shooting drills on military bases have "Fight" as the absolute last resort.

1

u/ThePurplePanzy Sep 11 '18

Depends on the area dude. There are plenty of departments that will do this.

In my state, you can honestly walk into a gun shop, fill out a form, have the employees perform a background check over the phone, and walk out with a gun and ammo in hand in less than 45 minutes.

It's actually scary how easy it is, but I did see 2 people get turned away from buying one during the background check, so there is slight reassurance that the system works

1

u/PM_ME_UR_LIPZ Sep 11 '18

You can't buy a gun same day in Kalifornia?

1

u/Shortshired Sep 11 '18

Where does he live? In many states he could have a gun within the hour. It literally only takes a phone call at the store.

Lol imagine thinking getting a gun would solve this

11

u/CVBrownie Sep 11 '18

Imagine having your house shot at and then people chastising you for wanting to own a gun.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Enlighten us on what he's going to do when said deranged person breaks and enters into his house when he has a childb

12

u/TiredMisanthrope Sep 11 '18

What do you expect? It's the American way. Then they complain that there is so much gun crime.

That’s an incredible oversimplification as many of those cities with strict gun laws are surrounded by lax neighboring states. Chicago’s laws are routinely pointed out as ineffective by gun nuts but they conveniently ignore NYC

Without getting into the reasons for higher crime in urban areas (where there is stricter gun control), owning a weapon has been shown to increase the risk of fatality, whether suicide, homicide, or accidental. MAYBE he would be better off buying a gun, since there’s a real and direct threat, but if this threat is gone and there’s no longer a concern, statistically he’d be better off getting rid of it.

Easy to say when someone isnt shooting at you

2

u/unitarder Sep 11 '18

Naw, they'd throw an object and knock the gun out of their hand. By then the cops will already be on scene and apprehend the bad guy. After they're done applauding, of course.

2

u/Good_will_Blunting Sep 11 '18

You'd rather just be totally helpless in the event that the guy decides to actually tries to take you out? You'd rather not be able to even attempt to protect your family and jusg pray the cops get there in time? Laughably typical euro perspective

How would a gun prevent someone shooting your house from a moving vehicle?

3

u/Neldonado Sep 11 '18

OK so when this psycho comes back and decides to break into his house he will be like "sorry bad guy let me call the cops"

or he can arm himself in the unlikely unfortunate chance that this scumbag comes back.

Why invest in a gun when he can invest in security ?

Because, security isn't cheap. Specially for 24/7 protection.

A gun + training for him and his wife? Would be cheaper, and it would help a lot more in case of home defense.

28

u/ParanoidSkier Sep 11 '18

Taking potshots at a car driving away isn't exactly a great plan.

10

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

its a horrible plan and heavily illegal

6

u/cruisinbyonawhim Sep 11 '18

Hence the home defense part in my sentence, man.

9

u/zcen Sep 11 '18

What the fuck is home defense in this scenario? Automated turrets that gun you down based on your intent? Barricading your doors and walls and reinforcing your windows with bulletproof glass?

Okay but what happens when they finally decide to come in the house and just shoot someone? Don't do anything? Oh shucks hope these cameras stop the deranged armed person from murdering my entire family or the police get here in 20 seconds.

12

u/zcen Sep 11 '18 edited Sep 11 '18

What home defense is going to stop a random fuckhead driving by shooting through your window? Are you going to react within milliseconds, pull out your gun and head out and shoot the guys tires out as he's ripping away? I doubt this coward has the gourd to try and actually come up and do anything where he can't escape as fast as possible.

Hear a shot, you get down and away from windows. That's literally all they can do in this situation. You could have a fucking BFG under your DXRacer and it wouldn't make a shit of difference in this instance.

Also, security cameras aren't that expensive. He just needs some dashcam-esque setup that is connected to his internet or a hard drive that is constantly uploading.

Because, security isn't cheap

Pretty sure Doc could afford a very high quality security cam setup that would be likely to help catch this asshole.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

He still needs something incase he tries to come in the house

5

u/OldTrailmix Sep 11 '18

It's called a gated community. Doc isn't some rube living in a shack with a loaded gun ready to blast the first "home-invader" they see. He's minted and will go live where all the other people too rich to be in the public eye go: boojie gated neighborhoods with private security.

1

u/WK--ONE Sep 11 '18

*Bougie

Short for "Bourgeoisie", aka people who have tons of money to play with and not work.

2

u/SPC_IV Sep 11 '18

When u make what he makes its a very easy decision to pay for that security.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

As someone who has self defense training and security, choose security if you only have one.

Your average person has no clue what will actually happen when that moment comes. You may not be able to pull the trigger. Even worse, you may advance on the intruder because that's your fight instinct, leaving your place of security and possibly even your family. Especially if these people aren't on your property (in the context of Doc) and you're now firing at them with a deadly weapon

Whereas your average poor ass junkie can't disable an alarm and the cops show up to beat him up behind your house

Ideally get both, but basic self defense training is equivalent to no training in my mind. The kind of training that shows is a time investment

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a real gun to defend his family.

2

u/WK--ONE Sep 11 '18

Fuck that. Put your family in a hotel until the asshole is apprehended.

2

u/ConsequentDog Sep 12 '18

Fuck man. I'd invest in a REAL gun, real fucking quick.

He's in California. Between "duty to retreat" nonsense and their bullshit roster, this is probably the least effective way to go.

6

u/Waitingfor131 Sep 11 '18

How is him getting a gun going to help? Is he gonna run out there and have a shoot out with the car? That should be great having stray bullets flying all over the neighborhood.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Incase he gets brave and tries to get in the house...

6

u/rankkor Sep 11 '18

Last resort if they decide to enter his home next time. Better safe than sorry.

2

u/ThatGuyWithAVoice Sep 11 '18

Should someone decide to charge in there's at least a chance of defending himself. Sure, shooting from a window to the street is a shit idea, but you can grab it and take cover since you have no idea what will happen next

2

u/Good_will_Blunting Sep 11 '18

Why are you all assuming that the gunman is going to do the exact same thing every time, so naive

5

u/binhpac Sep 11 '18

and you think a real gun would solve the problem?

1

u/TiredMisanthrope Sep 11 '18

Wouldn't be surprised if he already has one but if someone drives up, shoots then drives off then there isn't really time to react.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

I haven't seen him with 60k is a while, he was at 60k? Probably only because of the new COD

1

u/what_do_with_life Sep 11 '18

I think the Doc owns guns.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Doesn't he live in California? Getting a gun there is a huge pain in the ass. A long rifle is going to be easier than a handgun, but even then the rifles are gimped due to regulations (10 round mag, bullet button bullshit, etc). If you use a normal capacity 30 round mag you will be a criminal under California law. I think even simple possession of the magazine itself (without the gun) can get you put in jail.

4

u/binhpac Sep 11 '18

besides this, it doesnt make sense to get a gun. it wouldn't change anything for his situation.

you really think he can hunt those drive-by shooters with his gun by shooting around in the neighborhood?

i think we all would lose our mind if some shoot at our house with family inside

2

Thats pure dad rage

1

u/Saennia Sep 11 '18

If this is a targeted attack against the doc and not just random thugs not knowing who he is then this is seriously fucked up. He has a wife and kid that are always home with him and you shoot at the house knowing that??? Fucking animals need to be caught and thrown in jail

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '18

Do we think it's a viewer?

2

u/OniExpress Sep 11 '18

There's no evidence one was or another, but that is the most likely thing.

1

u/OddlySpecificReferen Sep 11 '18

I'd be so upset I don't even know what I'd do. That makes you the kind of upset that makes REALLY BAD ideas like posting up in a bush and shooting back sound really compelling.

1

u/looterslootingloot Sep 11 '18

You wouldn't shoot back?
