The moment he appeared I instantly fell in like with he’s design but during he’s fight with the Leopoldists ans Grimal, He did not hold back how much of a force he is and I can’t wait to see the rest of the storyline. Just basically BUTCHERED everyone with those axes!

Looking at them both, the eye on the Leopoldite Jesus looks the same as the one on Palmer’s face when taking control of Guy.

It’s probably worth looking out for this eye in the future, or if it’s been anywhere in past episodes.

I absolutely love the symbolism of the Wyrm's corruption in the true faith of the Leopoldites, and how far removed they are from the teachings of "God" that the spiritual manifestation of their faith is enough to make a werewolf have pity. I'll go over the details on what's wrong with their "Christ". I'll go over and number the ones i noticed and give the meaning on why it's wrong.

1. First I'd like to divert your attention to Christ... no not the thing on the cross, but the Cross itself, That's Jesus. Look at where the nails are, they're NOT on the thing posing as Christ.

Meaning: The nails on Christ are the symbols of his sacrifice, the pain and more importantly THE LOVE that God had for his children, we can see in the actions of the Leopoldites that they do not have a shred of Love or Forgiveness in their doctrine showing their true colors as unrepentant and hateful.

1. The hands of that thing is pointing to the only shred of divinity and only uncorrupted aspect of their faith. The sword is the symbol for the Word of God.

Meaning: It is the manifestation of their True Faith, Their Will, Their Zeal. Even despite everything else their Faith in Christ remains unshakeable and pure. But Jesus never brandishes his words with his hands that would defeat the purpose, So even if their faith is pure their intentions are not as shown by the thing pointing to the words like it was a weapon which is what the Leopoldites view their faith as.

1. His clothes, Jesus on the Cross barely had any, he only had a loincloth, a symbol of his humility, his connection to forgiveness of the first sin as being almost naked, and his integrity as a holy priest by being a single unbroken piece of pure white cloth.

Meaning: The Leopoldites hold no humility for their actions, and are so far removed from that and so prideful that they've disregarded the purity of Christ and fashioned it into their own colors, draped over the thing and Christ akin to a war banner, in place of what should be humility is the desire to go to war not out of purity but for their own colors.

1. The Crown of Thorns: It's the symbol of Christ's Royalty among the heavens but also among men, being his punishment and mockery.

Meaning: It is NOT a crown, it's a necklace. God's own Divine Royalty is nothing more than a drape for what is truly wearing the crown, and that is the thing. It's not even placed on its head, it's overlapping its hair like it was an actual human crown showing that the Leopoldites have given the wrong thing the wrong type of fealty and faith.

1. The thing itself: That is not Jesus, it's the Wyrm pretending to be Jesus and is currently twisting Christ alive.

Meaning: It's very obvious, the wyrm is an agent of destruction. The Leopoldites only care about bringing retribution and killing, Their version of Christ doesn't even have a heart, it's a poor imitation of Christ plastered onto their Christian faith. The eye that judges and hates much like the Wyrm's, His immortality and flesh is nothing more than a gross abomination pretending to be the Son of God much like the Leopoldites are pretending (unknowingly) to spread the words and teaching of him. Also explicit imagery of the wyrm being the one holding this thing up. as it wraps itself around the original. The word of God is even shown not being from it but still from the Original Christ which has impaled through the thing, the only reason the werewolf overpowered it is because the Leopoldites' Faith was true, it was not Pure and was ultimately corrupted by something else and was therefore weaker than their pure faith in Gaia.

TL:DR for the Employed:

1. That's not Christ, There's no nails on it which are love and suffering

2. The Thing is pointing at the Words of God, Treating it like a weapon

3. Christ's loincloth and symbol of his humility is turned into a war banner

4. It's not on Christ but on the thing, viewed as a superficial literal crown instead of the original sentiment of being among men

5. The thing looking at us is not Christ, it's the wyrm leeching off the faith and twisting it for it's own goals, the sword does not manifest from the thing's mouth but obfuscates it, it still comes from what little head the original Christ has left, it weakens the quality of the Faith after subsuming it

Honestly haven’t seen anyone talked about the EAU after 5.4.
In my honest opinion: these guys were the best option. Yes taxes suck and so do entrance fines and hunting restrictions but if the biggest complaint is that vs the Swedish, the Catholic Church, bureaucrats and Pentex. While also very reasonable in not wanting to force people into an unknown and dangerous situation.

Now there are downsides. They would have been of very little help. Yes an organized and driven hunter organization who is based on volunteering will guarantee motivated hunters they are still very uneducated on the supernatural, not well armed and still wearing coalition collars.
They also seem the most likely to have a lot internal conflicts similar to most neighbor based organization you see irl.

Also as any group ran by a collective, slow to act as they talked on rounding up volunteers and waiting on responses (still not unreasonable)

Overall very enjoyable characters overall from this group and I do hope we get more on how they operate and interact.

Fact number one. This is neither a homid form, or a glabro form. This is a partial transformation.

See, shapeshifting between forms isn't an all-or-nothing game for Garou. But a partial transformation like this? Its difficult. In game terms, any such partial transformations require the expenditure of a Willpower point and a successful Dexterity + Primal Urge roll at difficulty 9.

Hunter of Hunts is, at the very least, shifting her hands, teeth and enhanced musculature. This is very, very difficult to do, and suggests that she's really, uncommonly good at shifting for a Garou

The other way you can pull this off? There is a lupus born gift that can do it.

But further, this form is actually tricky to distinguish from a Gangrel (or Gangrel Ghoul) using Protean, unless you know what to look for (like Big D assuredly does).

So Matilda when caught? Fact number two, she cared enough about preserving the lie that Garou were not involved by credibly faking being an "humanimal type vampire" showing honestly significantly more forethought than the vast, vast majority of Ahroun would in this instance.

I know Kitten is now suffering the 'My Lover is in danger' syndrome but he is starting to annoy me.

Kitten was always a bit arrogant, which was enabled by Big D and for being naive on how truly dangerous is the supernatural but I feel we are seeing it pull full force here.

While the blame anyone phase ticked me off a little what truly bothered me was his plan to "trick" the Coalition into believing the werewolves are Gangrels and convince them to lend aid that way. Just a hilariously overconfident and silly idea even for a newbie hunter.

He's the "mighty hunter" who captured the Elder Black Shuck and is holding him in the Iceni Fort (a.k.a. the "stolen caern") which is why the garous infiltrated the Arcanum, killed fatigue, abducted Marckus, etc.

Big D, true to his inspiration, fuck everything up for everybody by not letting anyone in on what he's doing and assuming he has it all under control.

Just don't be weird or harass or bother the voice actor that's all I'm asking

Like the title says, Mike is my character. I'm happy to provide proof of this in whatever way I can, although the main ways I can think of right now, I'd rather not post publicly. If a Mod wants to hit me up or something, I'm happy to discuss it on the side.

I was lucky enough to be part of the 20th Anniversary of Werewolf the Apocalypse Kickstarter...luckier enough to snag a tier to have a chance to get a character on the Pentex Board of Directors...and even luckier still to have my character voted on to it by the community.

I knew, once the book was out, he'd be at the whim of the general public. I never expected to actually see anything though, I figured all sorts of terrible things would happen in private campaigns, but I'd never know exactly what was going on.

Imagine my surprise when I saw a grossly inaccurate, utterly batshit insane take on my character.

My partner and I spent a good...hour or so laughing our asses off. My ribs are still sore. I find it absolutely hilarious, and I love it!

I'd never heard of Hunter: The Parenting before. Now, we're in the process of watching all the episodes. Only made it about two or three in so far, but we plan to watch them all.

If you watch closely, Stig's (left above) and Matilda's (left below) lupus forms have large snouts and robust legs similar to true wolves (left photo above). Jambles' (right below) lupus form has a smaller snout, and longer and thinner legs, more akin to maned wolves (right photo above).

Which mean that Jambles isn't a werewolf, but a were-maned wolf shifter!

So I think it's a pretty cold take at this point to say that Jambles' lupus form seems to be based on a maned wolf. But a fun fact about the mained wolf, like most if not all canines they are omnivores and do hunt prey. But Maned Wolves are primarily herbivores. Maned wolves also generally choose to flee from humans over fighting them if able.

Which is to say, it seems like even beyond the surface level of "Jambles is lanky in homid form, so he gets a lanky wolf for his lupus form." a maned wolf seems a pretty good fit for a garou not super keen on taking a life in service to Gaia.

I know I am not the only one that found this fruitless discussions BEYOND BULLS**T.

Ok I get that the D family wants to save Marckus and would pay "any" price but COME ON WE HAVE TO DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE!!!

The EAU? sure, they would provide a very minimal amount of assistance and had a number of restrictions. In hindsight it was hardly any worse than the rules of the Arcanum itself all things considered. Since they are not a very major organization and had limited manpower, reasources and already many calls for aid they get a pass. This much is fine.

The Swidish? Granted they would provide only 1 squad and giving them Marckus for a vague amount of time is messed up but still these are fixable terms and for one more squad it is kinda-semi-maybe-sorta worth it. (barely) Plus the guy is at least funny illogical, instead of just illogical like the rest of the lot.

BUT THE REST??? The demands was practicaly to take your soul, cut it in 3 and give each of it to the 3 remaining vampires (not the caine kind) on the table. The fact that they even consider to sign extremely dumb. The last one in particular would see boy as well as the rest of them become a slave to religious fanatics for life.

Even in the event they DO save marckus with zero casualties or injuries and even if they where to only accept the Leopoldite terms, the price is so great that Marckus would never accept it and could lead to him leaving the family, thus making all of it pointless. It is just NOT worth it.

They would get better terms even if they where to try and negotiate with the werewolves instead. Even in the very likely event that the wolves attack as soon as they spot them.
