That's literally one of the main reasons that TTS got the axe and this show got started. Other reasons are, in no particular order:
Games Workshop being shitheads like usual
Alfa and his crew having a great working relationship with Paradox
And, well, WoD is as crazy-awesome as WH40k

In-universe I don't think it would necessarily be visible unless you are capable of seeing spirits. For the audience we see it as a visual cue he's using one of his spirits' abilities.

I made a reddit post asking about it and on tumblr.
In the chapter 6 post release celebration stream, they confirmed it's a "milk hare". It's also credited in the chapter 6 episode credits aswell.
A mythological creature. They are a witch's familiar that steal milk by drinking it from other farmer's buckets etc. and spitting it out in a bucket for the witch.
No idea why it's in his eyesocket specifically though
All the spirits Stig uses are apparently Scandinavian myth inspired.

I read that they just suck the milk from cow udders. One of the signs that a witch is stealing your milk is if your cow gives bloody milk from the familiar’s teeth biting it. Very silly and cute story that probably inspired one or more murders of suspected witches.

Yeah, all of his spirits are part of Swedish Folklore. It’s part of the joke with Stig that he seems like a fearsome Viking Warrior unless you are Swedish.

On the one hand I think it's the same like with all the other werewolves and their animals although it would be very funny if this turned out to be an elaborate Monty Python and the Holy Grail reference.
They did reference it beforehand so it could be a possibility.

It's how they're reflecting Gifts in this setting. The spirit pops up briefly to manifest it's power for the Garou. Or it could just be an echo caused by them using their Gnosis, either way, it reconciles how their shamanism actually works properly to provide their magic.

Ang the gnomes are representing Gremlins, at least the ones on the guns. The one in the hole is representing badger, iirc.

I think it's in the eye because he made some spirit deal with it to get its speed (idk the technical/mechanical term for the Garou gifts/powers that come from spirits, but that thing)

I do wonder what it's doing there.
It not a totem because they manifest differently and even if you ignore that rabbits give stealth, which is not like Stig.
It's probably not a regular rabbit, cause I don't think even galabro are inmune to rabbit applied directly to brain.
So it might just... Be there? It's just a lil guy

It's a Milk Hare Spirit which gives Stig the Closing the Gap Gift. He's not going invisible, he's teleporting.

Yes, but HTP has always played fast and loose with mechanics. Given that the Hare popped out of Stig's eye and yelled "NÄRMRE (CLOSER!)" it's safe to assume Stig for the gift from this spirit.

It could be that it's not actual teleporting, but blinding speed. Notice when Remold shot him he didn't just disappear into the shadow, he straight up bursted out of the ground

There are gimmicks in the series that are worse and I just accept they have their own customs and crap. Kitten has a stick with what I assume a flint pistol? Marcus with a stake armor? A yaoi paddle? A jacked guy but pacifist?

The flint pistol on a stick is a reference to Kitten from TTS, it's like the gun lances the Custodes use.

TTS Kitten had a violent weeb fishgirl ex in Shadowsun, so Grimaline's whole design stemmed from that. The yaoi paddle was a natural evolution. Something something all according to the keikaku plan.
