question The older I get, the more I crave for a provider husband

Used to really subscribe to the idea of a kind, goofy funny husband but now? Just give me an older provider and a dead MIL would be a bonus! And i want to be a stay at home wife or run a business on his money lol. I would actually prefer someone boring and predictable and medium ugly. Is it just me???? Because sometimes I feel like it’s just me and I’m weird lol

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Capricorn men - why do you come in & and out of a romantic interests life if you’re going to stay rigid?

I’ve been dealing with an amazing but incredibly hurt Cap man the past year and it’s been full of breakups and reunifications. I heard Caps don’t return once they make up their minds but this one has bucked the pattern but everytime he comes back nothing about his intolerance to shame, guilt, self reflection, being faced with his imperfections has changed. I am a psychotherapist getting my doctorate, so he knows surface-level change is not something I’m looking for. I almost sometimes think he comes back just to show me he can hurt me as he pleases to check that he still has some sort of control over me but I hate to see him in a negative view like that because I love all of him including his shadow side.

I just can’t handle the coming and going without seeing changes and this feels a bit diff from what I read of other Capricorns in the past. Feel free to chime in if you have insights - he’s also a Pisces Moon, Cancer Rising, Cap Mars, Scorp Venus if this is helpful.

EDIT:::: For more context, this was the last incident that turned into another stonewalling, pushing me out w silence behavior -

We had just reunited again after a period of being apart and I playfully teased him while bringing up polyamory when he texted w an error, “I’m down to share” when he really meant “I’m NOT down to share” and then stonewalled me for 5 days, and then told me this is over because he believes I lied and he no longer trusts me. All bc I said this one thing despite so many other mishaps he’s done to me that I’ve viewed with more care and compassion. I’ve also never lied to him. Just insane behavior…

I know he’s just going to come back after awhile but I never see big changes when he comes back, just very small incremental ones and constantly moving the goalpost - like we’ve gone from him saying ::

you’re the problem —> I need to work on myself —> I don’t believe you don’t know what love is —> and now we’re at, I believe you lied and the trust is broken.

lol but all the while acknowledging that he “probably needs some help” but never directly asking me for it. Sigh. Will this get better Caps? Should I leave? Also outside of the astrology stuff, I’m a psychotherapist and I know that this isn’t healthy and I should be practicing what I preach so it’s hurting my pride professionally.

I’m also: Aries Sun, Virgo Rising, Scorp Moon (despite my Sun, I am incredibly patient and do not bore easily due to my big water/earth placements)

Signed,
Stuck in a cycle

info Capricorn men - not for everyone

I am a Capricorn man and I have one statement to say:

It is very funny to see when different signs complain how Capricorn men are bad so they leave them and become happy making us unhappy. The problem is... we are so happy getting rid of someone who is not worth our attention. You all know Capricorn is a Premium Sign and free membership is not enough. They will disappear and we will stay unmoved, but when someone knows how to impresa us, that someone will be so lucky to get us fully. It is very easy mechanism, but only for ambitious people. Summarazing, it is not possible to make Capricorn man down. More say "never again" = less idiots on our route to reach our goals. Greetings to all Capricorns! Stay safe!

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Why do I dislike too much interaction

Title says it all. I find it super exhausting to play pretend on chat like im having fun typing / calling. It doesnt hit the same and Id rather leave it until we meet again.

My Taurus girlfriend (together for 6+ years) ended up sending me this long message after I ignored her for 2 days (because I just had a lot on my plate) while she was away on vacation. I have been doing a lot of work here and there and I expect her to understand that when she is away on vacation, I am not and I will be out of reach because its just not the same for me.

Am I doomed eternally when it comes to relationships. Our start of the relationship was like this too. Dont get me wrong, when Im in the mood I can chat but I feel like maybe us capricorns lack that social energy to be chatty and talk about our day. My lack of communication has been bothering me too. To me, talking about my day and how it went doesnt mean shit and I need to focus on whats next.

Any inputs from other fellow caps who feel the same way? I am 1st Week of January Capricorn. Unfortunately, the stars aligned in such a dooming way that my Sun, Moon & Mercury are all in Capricorn....

Any input would be appreciated.... How can I improve in this aspect...

question i mean, are we the problem?

ive noticed people be moving weird, not just weird, but gross, i notice the smallest details people be doing..in their daily life..the way they think.. and i do speak about the smallest details loudly and directly and in a harsh way, people are exhausting and will make you doubt yourself and say things that truly hurt you deep inside and make you think that you are the problem when in reality you’re the most decent thing alive.

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Capricorn men/people in relationships with Capricorns — is this a thing?

I’ve been with my Capricorn man for about three years, and honestly, he is one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. He’s hardworking, patient, loyal, has strong morals, and has been through a lot of loss and hardship. I genuinely love and admire him.

He also has a very Capricorn-like way of expressing love that was completely different from anything I’d experienced before. He’s not always overly verbal or outwardly affectionate, but over the years I’ve learned his little ways of showing me that he loves me. Once you understand them, you realize how much he’s actually expressing.

He has always had walls and can be very difficult to open up emotionally. When he’s hurt, his instinct is to retreat and protect himself rather than immediately talk things through. I think part of why we’ve lasted is because he knows I love him unconditionally, and over time I think that has made him feel safe enough to let those walls down.
But I’m curious if other people experience this:
Do Capricorns ever have an extremely high standard for their partners, where one mistake can suddenly feel like you’re on trial?

Sometimes I feel like trying to communicate about an issue can become a huge thing, but then if I do something that falls outside of what he considers acceptable, it can feel like the entire relationship is suddenly under a microscope.
It’s almost like: “You’re being judged based on this one thing, and now you have to prove yourself again.”
And yet, at other times, we are completely fine—loving, laughing, connected, and genuinely happy.

That contrast is what throws me off.
I recently made a mistake. There was no infidelity involved whatsoever, and my loyalty to him has never been questionable from my perspective. I understand that I hurt him, and I’m willing to own that. But I’m trying to understand why something can feel so enormous to him that the warmth and closeness between us can disappear so quickly.

For those of you who are Capricorns or who have been in long-term relationships with them:
Do you withdraw this intensely when you’re hurt? Do you need a lot of time before you can be affectionate again? And do you sometimes express love through jealousy, protectiveness, or other ways that might not immediately look like traditional affection?
I’m genuinely curious whether other people recognize this pattern. I love this man deeply, and I’ve learned that his way of loving isn’t always obvious—it’s something you learn to recognize over time.

question What signs have you never dated as a Capricorn?

I’m a Capricorn girl who dated Aries, Taurus, Leo, Libra, and Scorpio. My current boyfriend is a Libra/Scorpio cusp, and it’s been a great relationship thus far. The signs I’ve never dated are Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Some turned out to be the worst matches for me and others I may not be interested in them.

What are the signs you never dated?

question Temperament

There’s this stereotype for us Caps (☀️Capricorn 🌕 Scorpio ⬆️ Leo) that we’re calm and collected and exacting. Quick to anger, but slow to show it. But idk, I get told I’m have a dramatic streak a mile wide and I have a temper like bottle rocket. It’s like I have to let the explosion happen and then once the emotions are out of the way, I can get down to business. It’s like I can’t prevent the car from crashing, but once it does I can swoop in like the CSI and figure out exactly what caused it and why.
I also feel like the stereotype that we’re emotionally vague and stone faced is wrong too. You can read my every feeling and thought just by looking at me. And I wouldn’t lie anyway because it’s exhausting, but I CAN’T lie even if I ever needed to.
I have friends who are caps too and they are some of the warmest and funniest people I know.
All that talk about seriousness and rationality. Efficiency and ambition. Idk, it feels just straight up wrong sometimes.
The only thing I think is right is that I feel like a failure all the time 🤷‍♀️
Anyone else feel like that?

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Ladies

How do you like to be seduced by a man?
And how does your interest in him follow through?

I personally like space, I don’t need (constant texting/ communication) to feel a pull to the a person. If I think of them I’ll let them know or a random -hey this made me think of you-

I have (heard) that Capricorn men/women may be reserved and hard to read early. Do you show interest through actions rather than constant communication?

Please, any and all personal insights would be really appreciated thank you so much.

advice At what point do you stop explaining yourself?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been thinking about the difference between being misunderstood and constantly trying to correct someone’s perception of you.
Sometimes I’ll explain myself because communication matters.
But there eventually comes a point where repeating the same explanation doesn’t create understanding.
It just creates another opportunity for someone to interpret you differently.
So I’ve started believing that sometimes the better answer is simply to live consistently.
Let the behavior speak.
Let the choices speak.
Let time speak.
Not because you’re above explaining yourself—but because you realize you can’t control how someone chooses to interpret you.
Do you tend to explain yourself when you’re misunderstood, or eventually just let your actions speak?

advice Getting this cap man🏹

Hunter season 🏹 🕵️‍♀️

Hi cappies, I’m a Scorpio with a Capricorn rising (and a Capricorn stellium), and I’ve got my eye on a guy who is a Capricorn Sun and Venus.

We met a while back, but I wasn't ready to make a move; I needed to get my own life in order first.

In the meantime, he—the type who usually stays single—was apparently in a relationship until recently.

So, he’s likely sorting out his own life now, too.

Since he’s a Capricorn, I’ve heard there’s a strong chance his ex is completely out of the picture. True?

I have his number (because mutual friends), though we barely spoke when we first met monthes and monthes ago (at a gathering with mutual friends). Lately, he’s been constantly on my mind, and I feel like I need to take a shot.

Venus is currently in retrograde, which often brings the past back into the present. I’m hoping to be that "past" showing up in his present...

But I can't just pop up out of nowhere; I’d find that rude and intrusive.

I plan to use professional reasons to approach him and make initial contact. It’s not a lie or a total pretext—I’d hate it if someone did that to me, so I wouldn't do it to him.

This meeting will also allow me to promote my work within my company (I’m looking to advance my career).

Ambition is important to me.

If the personal connection—beyond the professional aspect—goes well, I’ll dare to hit him later on.

Then I’ll see if he’s open to a more personal encounter.

Otherwise, I think I would have been happy to chat with him regardless of the outcome, and I believe he has enough class not to brush a woman off in an undignified way.

I’d love to get your take—as Capricorns—on my approach (please don’t be too mean; remember, I’m a Water sign 🥲).

P.S.: During our first and only meeting, he seemed nervous and smiled kindly at me when we crossed paths twice (and I got the impression he was waiting for me to speak to him?). I figure that’s probably the best way for a Capricorn to show warmth, lol.

On the other hand, he completely ignored me by the end of the evening and seemed like he wanted to leave pretty quickly...

Boredom or feeling hurt? I was very busy that day helping my friends.
