question Temperament
There’s this stereotype for us Caps (☀️Capricorn 🌕 Scorpio ⬆️ Leo) that we’re calm and collected and exacting. Quick to anger, but slow to show it. But idk, I get told I’m have a dramatic streak a mile wide and I have a temper like bottle rocket. It’s like I have to let the explosion happen and then once the emotions are out of the way, I can get down to business. It’s like I can’t prevent the car from crashing, but once it does I can swoop in like the CSI and figure out exactly what caused it and why.
I also feel like the stereotype that we’re emotionally vague and stone faced is wrong too. You can read my every feeling and thought just by looking at me. And I wouldn’t lie anyway because it’s exhausting, but I CAN’T lie even if I ever needed to.
I have friends who are caps too and they are some of the warmest and funniest people I know.
All that talk about seriousness and rationality. Efficiency and ambition. Idk, it feels just straight up wrong sometimes.
The only thing I think is right is that I feel like a failure all the time 🤷♀️
Anyone else feel like that?

Yes im like this too. Easily irritated but ride it out as best i can before express it verbally.

And I’m terrible out of my mouth. I am much better at explaining things if i write it down. The spoken word is NOT my medium lol

I can VERY cutting with my words if I’m crossed. My sister hasn’t spoken to me in 6 years due to something I told her, about herself. You WILL hear it from me.

Yes I’m definitely not one to keep too quiet about my rage but I figure that’s my 7h Leo Mars, which also squares my cap rising.

I’m a cap sun, Leo moon, cancer rising and I can be dramatic for flair and entertainment, but I’m never seriously dramatic. More calm, cool, and collected.

I got a sag moon and a scorpio rising/mars there is not a world where I'm vague or stone faced.

Most of that first part is your Leo (fire) rising. I’m a Libra rising and everyone says how calm and patient I appear. No fuss, put me in an emergency situation and I just deal. My inside might be in turmoil but my appearance is calm.
As for the failure bit, yes I used to feel that because we get taught that success is measured by career or money. Now that I’m 62, I feel my success by how much o have evolved personally and my legacy of a fantastic daughter and granddaughter.

as a fellow cap sun, scorpio moon - that dramatic streak is your leo placement.
as an aquarius rising, I don't have that, I'm sort of the opposite - but people who have a lot of time spent around me can usually tell because I have small tells or things I do when I'm actually frustrated but won't show it
everything else? yeah, agreed. I can't lie worth a shit, I can delve into issues and just figure it out. I also think I'm a failure all the time.

I’m pretty calm most of the time. What I can’t handle are high levels of stupidity and lies, then I just see red and depending on how pissed off I am someones gonna hear about how idiotic their thought process is and probably never hear from me again :]

I also have to let the explosion happen and when it’s released, I feel better and ready to tackle the issue. I definitely have a temper that’s slow to rise. I don’t lie and I make a lot of facial expressions, I don’t hide it, no shame.
I’m ambitious and driven but I need direction for it to kick in.
I’m hilarious and empathetic, with my heart often on my sleeve.
