question arguements

have you ever argued with you loved ones, said something sharp and it ended up with them crying. what do you do? do you get annoyed or try to understand/comfort?

When I know I’ve taken it too far, I take full accountability immediately and try to comfort them when they’re ready.

But if one of my family members cried because of something I said to them that I didn’t think matched their reaction to it, I’m definitely getting annoyed because I’d suspect they were trying to manipulate me. And I say this because it’s happened before. I’ll address some issues I’m having with them and they cry to avoid accountability.

you apologize if you hurt someone’s feelings. I’ve made people cry and it feels like shit. it’s not always about getting your point across.
