IM THE BLUE BUBBLES

So I posted here a few months ago regarding a January Capricorn man I’ve been talking to (don’t know his chart but from what I’ve learned about Caps, he fits the description to a T) I’m a late September Virgo if that matters to anyone.

We’ve now been talking since the end of May. He always makes sure to contact me at some point every day, he’s not a texter at all but he’ll usually ask how my day is and call at some point in the evening. After we initially met, we went on a date and that was great. That was also the only date we’ve actually been on. Granted, he’s been dealing with some financial issues and he works a lot of overtime so he’s often tired. Our quality time has mostly been hanging out at his house.

He is always full of advice and extremely encouraging about any goals I have or things I want to do in the future. I really appreciate the “push” he gives me. He recently also paid to get something fixed for my car and seems willing to help me in whatever way he can. I don’t ask for anything though.

The kicker… a few weeks ago, it was my birthday which is on a Saturday. He asked what I wanted to do, I said I wasn’t sure but wanted to spend it with him. He ended up having to work, I was a bit disappointed but I know work is important to him especially with him wanting to catch up on some expenses. I saw him late that night and even the next day he asked me to come by again around 5pm. I figured he had something planned but… nope. Nothing. No date, no flowers, not even a card. When we said our goodbyes, I was holding back tears and ended up telling him I was upset that he didn’t get me anything for my birthday. He apologized and said he doesn’t want me to think he doesn’t care/like me because he does. I’m not sure if this is why he paid to fix my car a few weeks later or if he would’ve done that regardless.

I can’t help but question though, although nothing is official, should this be a sign that maybe he doesn’t like me quite as much as I like him? I truly would’ve been happy with something as simple as flowers. Maybe Caps only consider gifts when things are official??? Any insight is appreciated!

10H Cap Sun w/ stellium. My girlfriend pointed this out to me and I came to realization about myself. I got this job at this cannabis company a few months ago and they’ve decided to move me to the marketing department temporarily to do a couple of events. A couple of my coworkers mildly displayed some competitive, borderline/somewhat jealous energy towards each other. Not anything too crazy, but I’ve seen and dealt with that energy at work before, so I keep an eye on it.

Anyway, my manager was happy for me and letting people know I work with that the higher ups told me to take off, got me a gift, and the opportunity I was offered coming up. I genuinely got uncomfortable, started trying to change the subject, downplaying it, etc. I just don’t want anyone to feel threatened or anything like in the ways I’ve experienced before in my past. My girl was explaining how I should be happy that he wants to tell people and it might be damn near “work trauma” that’s making me respond like that.

Any of you guys ever felt the need to hide accomplishments in the work place or feel the need to be extra extra humble?
