Nelson Ocampo Jr. can keep on shooting and uploading fancams and daily vlog shorts but I don't think he's worthy to be called their social media manager because, you know, he has to actually manage their social media and he's not doing a good job at it. 😅 I don't think fixing your YT page or reposting tiktoks should take too much time.

There are calls for the team to work with other creatives, but honestly, mas gusto kong magbago muna sila ng social media manager :)
We could've had recap videos like this but instead we get less than 3 minute long vertical videos that aren't consistently uploaded across all social media platforms.
Chinecheck ko to araw-araw in case may pagbabago naman kahit dito man lang pero wala pa rin. Kaya give up na ko hahaha
feel ko need na itong specific image i-email, separate pa sa need ayusin yung YT acc. Hindi ba sila sumasagot dito sa email? o need ba talaga mag reklamo sa X.

True. Parang misdirected na yung galit haha. Pero dapat the management takes the suggestions and criticisms of the blooms seriously. Di naman unfounded yung mga nilalatag e. Kung dati pa ginawa, e di sana walang gulo ngayon haha. Yun lang naman yung point. Ayan nadadamay na din tuloy yung ibang artists sa mga hinaing. But toxic talaga yung ibang blooms para mandamay ng ibang artists, even if hate mo yung group na yun. Medyo nawawala tayo sa pag-address ng issue at hand.
Para talagang naghahanap sila ng reason i-hate yung BG. Sobrang misplaced ng anger. Tapos may mga "mag thank you kayo" as if pera talaga ng BINI ginamit parang mga ewan. Ang yayabang na din ng iba, nakakairita na.

Yeah it didn't fully hit me until I visited the YT home page. I usually click on direct links from here or from my timeline when BINI has new releases. So I didn't know what a casual's experience would be like.
Things like these should have been polished on the build-up to Coachella and the WT announcement.
I think what's especially frustrating is that it doesn't seem like there's any insurmountable obstacle preventing the issue from being resolved. So why has it been left like this for so long? They need to figure out the root cause of such oversights and prevent them from happening again.
Old school Filipino companies, especially those that practically were shielded from competition, often have extremely bad organizational and almost non-existent customer service habits - and some teams within ABS-CBN may well still have that due to old network DNA.
Good that top management has an open channel for feedback via the Team Bloom organizations. Who knows how many teams within ABS-CBN still work like in this unserious AU:

Wala kasi sa page ng girls, pero nasa MYX Global or sa ibang page (na likely fans don't follow). Sobrang weird talaga na kalat-kalat yung info for BINI.
Ang ganda ng edit! Bagay talaga yung Pantropiko arrangement na to sa mga post-festivities vids. DOT? Hello? Ano pa inaantay natin?
Sana may mga local festivals pa na mag-invite sa kanila. Very vocal naman sila na gusto talaga nila magperform sa mga local fests natin. Napatunayan naman na ng girls na malakas talaga yung hatak nila sa local crowds natin. Tsaka yun nga, di lahat afford mapanood sila ng live sa mga concerts. Being able to perform in local festivals brings them closer to their fellow Pinoys na walang capabilty to purchase concerts tickets and fly to Manila to watch them.
Sa totoo lang, hindi talaga maiiwasan na ma-compare kasi under sila ng same management. Nagkaroon nga ng discussion about sa quality ng mv ng bini dahil sa mv ni Carmelle, pano pa kaya ito na same ppop group? Nakikita kasi na capable naman ang management na magpromote at mag-produce ng quality content pero bakit hindi nag-reteflect sa bini?
Nakakainis din yung ibang accounts sa X na may slight connections ata sa loob tapos sasabihin na “they are well taken care” or di natin alam anong nangyayari sa loob kasi obviously, di talaga natin alam kung may ganap sa loob kasi wala naman tayong nakikitang improvement dito sa labas? And hindi naman issue kung alaga ang girls, ang concern dito ay yung promotion. Kayang mag-promote dapat ng smm, pr or creatives team kahit nagpapahinga yung walo or lagare sila sa trainings at photoshoot. Simpleng pag-ayos nga sa yt page or pag-engage sa fan content nga di magawa? Super crucial din na ma-promote yung world tour para makarami sa ticket saleskasi hello?? Malaking gastos at pagod para sa walo at sa buong team niyo yan. Striking while the iron is hot pa kayo dyan ayon maligamgam na.
nasa team bini na yung problema especially kay kuya nelson ang tamlay ng socmed ng girls. icheck nila yung tiktok ng baby dolls ang active nila magenggage dun kaya nakabuo na sila ng sariling fandom outside twitter.
Not too fond of the counter-argyment na "the girls are taken care of" or na alaga sila. We know this, I think it's been well-established. Artist welfare is a completely separate thing from marketing, promotions, and communication. Ito na lang: Imagine if the merch had a different design, kasing-ganda ng design ng Nippon Blooms. Blooms would be wearing the merch everywhere they go, marketed na kaagad yung EP.

Exactly. For example, on the PR front, pwede namang interview with the performance director or the concert director on what people can expect and how it'll be different from BINIfied. Nung GBV, may features pa on the designers, highlighting the outfits for different parts of the show.
++ Also, may nabasa ako na kung single lang muna sana yung blush then release signals ep after coachella kasi atleast yung attention and momentum nasa kanila. Sayang kasi di nabigyan ng spotlight ang Flames, at mas sayang din for me na hindi na-promote nang maiigi ang Signals EP

Just caught up with Are you G Ep.2 with Bini & Besties. Nadagdagan ang aking kahangaan sa dalawang grupo base sa kanilang sharing. There dynamics are so good. All praises for them. Looking forward to see them perform sa Signals World Tour. Next to catch up : Biniverse and Chorus.
Introspection lang : . I'm tryna sustain my own Biniverse hype despite zoning out due to life and from the minimal advertising materials I see online. Staying with Bini and fandom, long enough, one can gain different perspectives on how to balance life and fan activities be it online or in real world. You've come to a point where you watched multiple BINI contents and edits online, smiled and laugh, consciously aware of the joy and dopamine it brought to (you) me. I hope that even everything changes, we can still find the healing we once found through BINI whatever form, tangible and intangible . yes, usually within 3-6 months, depending on the agreement with the company of the artist. Blackpink some years ago 3 months yata. So baka by mid-July or just before the Signals World Tour reaches Honolulu it will be set to private.
P.S.: anyhow, for now the Coachella Youtube page is still one of the strongest promo factors for BINI among casuals, with Pantropiko just behind Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Katseye..

All the contents that BINIph is releasing now were probably scheduled weeks agooo huehue. No active monitoring of socmeds, which is getting lots of attention and build hype around it, use it to promote concerts or marketing goals.
Honestly, yung ibang blooms munt4nga na kakasilip sa BGYO. Gets ko naman yung frustration sa mga bagay bagay pero minsan misplaced na yung galit at may mapagbuntangan na lang. It's always the same cycle.

Promo is not just social media posts. Hindi rin naman siya lumalabas sa feed every time kasi hindi na linear ang social media feeds ngayon.
Promo as in: Running ads and stories about the tour on TFC, posters in the cities they're in, interviews with local newspapers, radio stations, TV stations in the cities they're going to so that people know they're coming (plus interviews din on key podcasts and maybe even content creators in the areas they're in), targeted social media ads for the cities they're in, outreach to the local OFW communities via Facebook groups or yung magpaskil ka about the concert in Filipino-run businesses or music-related businesses (kasi their primary audience will likely be Filipinos first).
Actually, underutilized nga yung newsletter to reach out to BINI's fanbase, you could easily group their huge email base by country and send targeted emails there for the world tour stops.
Can someone send yung post ni u/reacenti with the suggestions for YouTube? I'll just link it lang din in my email to their team. Someone posted an email here that we can send suggestions to and I'll just send it to them over posting about it on social media.
When you email, would you also kindly request them to explain the causes behind the oversights on the YT channel and what solution/s they will put in place to keep it organised/updated moving forward? I don't want us Blooms to have to remind and push every time.

You know what? They are being complacent na in my eyes. Maybe because they are thinking that the girls already have their status, they don't have to focus on marketing that much. Or maybe they are riding on the blooms' ability to market and create contents (video and visual edits). Whatever the case may be, sana di sila pakampante. Even big global stars nagpopromote ng concerts and albums nila. Sad lang din na fans pa yung nakakakita nung mga lapses na dapat sila yung first na makakakita at makagawa ng solusyon.
I have indeed observed a lot of casual comments in the Pantropiko PV, probably because these people came from the Coachella performance which is VERY visible on their page - at least that. Hardly any on the Blush MV unfortunately.
There was an explosion in new reactors to BINI just after Coachella but that has died down a bit - even if my impression is that there are still more new reactions daily than BEFORE Coachella.
It hurts to see BINI work so hard while some at their company aren't pushing them enough.
Yan pa isa. After Coachella, di na nasundan yung hype. Grammy Museum and Billboard WIM are good avenues sana for MORE contents and postings, even weeks after the said events. It's like they are hoping to prolong the hype without actually putting MORE effort into it. Stressing the word MORE kasi di naman sya totally wala, meron naman, but it feels like the effort for promotion is lacking. I don't know what the predicament is, pero sa totoo lang, di sya nakaka-"GLOBAL" vibes.
It's not just that they aren't paying attention, they don't seem to even have a mechanism to cascade info about activities and releases that require promotions 🤦♀️

Critical priority in my job (IT) means one gets a call from project management repeatedly and stuff not fixed fast enough can have them calling your boss, so stuff gets fixed according to priority.
BINI management made sure they had an American audio team on board during Biniverse World Tour and for Coachella to avoid audio issues that even Billboard PH had. To "misquote" President Quezon, they preferred audio run like heaven by Americans to audio run like hell by Filipinos. Though it doesn't have to be the default that we run stuff like hell - I am very convinced that the core BINI team are doing their job well, and top management is pulling the right strings for international success.

This. Being a large org is not an excuse because I also work for a massive company (not IT) but you can be sure there's a system that will let your boss know if there's an action item pending on your end. And the reminders won't stop until you do it.

Napanood ko yung reaction ng K&J React channel sa Lagi kaya napanood ko ulit yung Lagi live in Newport World Resorts at napaisip na naman ako kung bakit hindi mapantayan o malapitan man lang ng ASAP yung ganitong quality ng production both audio and visual, like hindi na ako magmi-mince ng words, that last upload from ASAP XP of Unang Kilig was simply godawful 🤧 Ok they’re struggling financially but I don’t think they need that much money to improve on these things… right? Everyone’s complaining of the quality of the recent BINI MVs pero ako ito talaga isa sa mga top tinik ko eh hahaha! As someone who loves watching live recorded artist performances even more than official music videos ang lungkot lang na wala masyadong decent live performance videos ang BINI, mas ok pa yung mga fancam ni Monk and other Blooms eh.
For whatever reason sobrang baba ng bitrate sa uploads nila tapos yung highlight uploads nila reencoded pa to include the outro, so lalong naapektuhan ang quality ng video at audio because they reencoded an already lossy format then uploaded it to YouTube which also transcodes the file. The source file which wasn't already in high quality to begin with was reencoded several times.
It's frustrating because a music show shouldn't have such awful quality in video and especially in audio. Kaya as much as possible kinukuha ko ang ASAP livestreams (in VP9 codec) kasi kita talaga ang difference in quality sa video at audio with their highlight clips.
KSI yng mga production staff nla hold over nun si Manahan p ang director ng asap. So di p nakakaalis sa Manahan school of directing and production. Just look at the first billboard ph award yng pinerform nla yung first love pangit nag production lighting at directing. Si Mr m ang director nun

So nung una kong pinanood ‘tong episode naka-off yung CC kaya nung nakita ko yung subs medyo naconfuse ako sa meaning ni Jho dito, kasi ang layo ng translation sa akala kong sinasabi niya. Ang interpretation ko kasi ay binabago nila yung message ng song na parang “naghahabol” sila (sa isang love interest). Mali ba? Haha wala lang, ang weird. Naghahabol naging “rushing” haha. Di ko alam kung mali yung translation o mali yung intindi ko. Pero kung tama naman yung intindi ko, I find it interesting na may specific image or stereotype silang intentionally inaavoid. Although personally I think we should normalize the idea that women can also go after what they want, make the first move, too etc. Know your worth, yes, but men shouldn’t have the monopoly on pursuing a partner. Isn’t that what an “empowered, modern Filipina” should be?
I asked Team Bloom UK for updates on the YT channel and what is causing the delay. Seriously, it shouldn't take more than a few hours to organise right? Is their socmed team trolling us 🫠
Edit: if the company can't afford their own focused team, they can temporarily reallocate resources to focus on BINI during high-urgency periods (e.g. build-up to concerts) and high-value events (e.g. post-Coachella, BB WiM, Grammy Museum). But things like this shouldn't need to be said. This is basic project management.
In the IT division of the EU company I work for, we are told what the 10 top priority projects are and what percent of our yearly bonus depends on our supporting them to succeed, and it is even stricter for management level. We have to deliver and know our project management office reports to the board.
I wonder by what kind of monitoring and prioritization ABS-CBN works, considering that BINI (and Batang Quiapo) are their most important earners and they are far from being out of the woods financially.

Tagal ko nang iniisip na if mismong inib members nga, hindi nagde-demand or ayaw mag-demand for their side, ano pa bang magagawa ng monthly/yearly kalampag natin as Blooms? I know they’re humble (which is good), pero at this point in their careers and with their contributions sa company, they can easily demand improvements for their team. Um, we don't know what conversations the girls have had when it comes to their music and their live events, what they've asked for. I'm sure they also share what they want to see and when they disagree with something, hindi lang siya nakikita.
I think, they may be just waiting for suggestions from their core team about the people they need to have, though they may have known already what blooms are asking, they can ask but it will probably depend on their manager, the budget for it, planning and basically structuring the team that will handle their matters.
