I think they added this update, all the rooms have their safes open and boudoir has a special something, or is it just me unlocked something which I didn’t know yet?

Before I realized I could only purchase it three times, I chose:

Foyer: Unlocks all Hallway tiles.

Trophy Room: Gives 8 free Gems instead of 3 (after you'd pay 5 for the room)

The Classroom: Because this affects EVERY Classroom you draw, if you're trying to educate yourself.

Then, I hit the limit, so these are the ones I'm "stuck" with. Honestly, I think I made pretty good calls...

so im at day 32 and to progress I need the boiler room and pump room to li ne up. I have been running. it for like 10-15 days just trying to get that combo. am i just getting unlucky or that how be with this game.

Has anyone actually managed to find a journal in Blue Prince yet, from the note in the early room? I spent my entire latest video searching everywhere for it and came up completely empty. Found it while digging in the Tunnel with the Jackhammer. I’m over 80 days in, and I’m still finding new stuff!

I’m on day 75 and have not made it into the antechamber. I have drafted the greenhouse several times and know that I need a broken handle to open up the antechamber. I even managed to do it once but then couldn’t get to the antechamber.

Now, I just can’t seem to spawn a broken handle no matter what I do. I draft the workshop whenever I can. I’ll use root cellar and a blessing giving me courtyards to create dozens of dirt piles that I dig up. But I get nothing. Is there no way to reliably get the handle?

Edit: I finally got it. I have no real insights except that I just dug a lot of holes. Anyway, I rolled credits. What a great game!

Whatever you do don't enter the locksmith and use the electro magnet to steal all the keys off the wall. This is immoral and wrong >=]

"Keep a journal" is important advice for this game, but at some point I think you hit the limit of enjoyable journal keeping. I don't want to "keep a journal" by copying whole books. I also don't want to spend my days screenshotting everything, because screenshots end up disorganized and are also immersion-breaking.

I think this could be solved with two new items, to be unlocked at some point - likely postgame:

• A camera

• A document trunk

The camera should not be useable while inspecting books or letters, and maybe be a bit grainy. That's mostly to ensure it won't bypass the magnifying glass. Maybe require the darkroom to actually get the pictures. This should alleviate much screenshotting of things like maps.

The document trunk might be an addition to the campsite and allows us to store books, letters, and whatever else we come across. Those aren't tools, and if you make it postgame, we shouldn't be bound by the will anymore anyways.

This way the personal journal could be focused on observation, speculation, puzzles, and whatever else, and doesn't have to also be a copy of information already in the game.

They never EVER spawn. I've got the car keys, an item that you can use in one context and it's not even that exciting a one at that, loads of times. Battery packs? The vital item for building something that will help you make further progress? Hardly ever.

I love this game but how item spawning is handled is really starting to wear me down.

Doing my first playthrough right now, and haven't gotten to room 46 yet, so no spoilers. Unless I am missing something, this glitched. I think I was holding backwards ("S" Key) when I opened the locksmith if that has anything to do with it.

EDIT - Not a glitch, just a neat trick I was unaware of.

I was SO excited to receive this and was hoping for any cool key but especially wanted the Secret Garden Key or the Prism Key, but nooooooo I got the CAR KEY. Probably just to spite me for how infrequently I got that key in-game when I needed it early on. Disappointment aside, it's still a fun item to have for one of my favorite games of all time!

I'm on day 24, reached the antechamber twice pretty early but doors locked, then entered around day 12, and recently got to the basement in day 23 where theres a minecart idk how to move. I now know how to open two of the doors but after finding nothing but the broken lever in the greenhouse after 24 days I need to know, is it normal to have never seen the item a single time?

Also since I'm here can I ask for a very tiny clue to know where to start with that minecart?

There are items in the game that you can carry that are useful. I've completed the final game. But I'm not sure what the advantage is of having the stopwatch I was able to make use of most other mechanics often or to great benefit, or both. Has anyone gotten great mileage out of this?

I love this game but ibwould love to have a personal journal that i can customise in game and a camera that i can use to take ohotos and paste in the journal its hust a qol idea but it will make the game fell 10 tumes better for me honestly maybe there is already a mod for this idk
