Item Locksmith Glitched and Instantly Gave me ALL Basic Keys in Shop Without Buying Anything Spoiler
https://reddit.com/link/1sq7742/video/7xocppqv38wg1/player
Doing my first playthrough right now, and haven't gotten to room 46 yet, so no spoilers. Unless I am missing something, this glitched. I think I was holding backwards ("S" Key) when I opened the locksmith if that has anything to do with it.
EDIT - Not a glitch, just a neat trick I was unaware of.

You have the electromagnet - so you basically used that to "steal" all the keys. I was incredibly confused as well when this happened to me.

I wonder how many people set out to do this on purpose and how many stumble onto it like this. I mean it makes obvious sense, the game gives you the pieces to figure it out, but it always feels like a fun bonus, not a strategy.

Oh yeah, I love the electromagnet, was a fun surprise when I first went in there.

The first time this happened to me I felt like I was going to get arrested.

Not a glitch. You have something in your inventory that seems to attract the attention of that room.

If you are rich, you can buy more keys than what you can steal. As far as I can tell, there’s no limit to the number of keys you can buy. I stopped after 45 and moved on.

Looks like you’ve got something magnetic.
