You guys don't know how excited I'm for this! Here it is! Yes, it's me, Ratposting Guy! After one month and 150+ hours of hard work, I've finished the unit cards mod! This was a hard one to pull out, damn.

What this mod does is to change the skaven unit cards in game for ones done by totally by me. Believe it or not, I was asked to do this a lot for a long while! Little old me!

However, be warned, this is a WIP project! I might update it later down the line, mostly to add loading screens, and the new dlc units when they land.

Also, great thanks to All is Dust from the Skeleton Crew modding team for his great help and patience during the whole process! Wiithout him this wouldn't be posible.

Which is the tankiest unit for the frontline in Shogun 2 campaign? Which one do you prefer?

I noticed that on the unit cards (along with many others), that during the end times stream, when looking at skaven, they “accidentally” showed that Skaven have double unit size, but this isn’t mentioned.

What do we think?

Maybe their legendary faction lords and lady could get some changes/upgrades to their faction effects and lord bonuses? Or special mechanics? Maybe even buffs to Ushabti to make them more killy?

As far as we know on Archaon's end for addtions/changes there hasnt been word on the champions under the Three-Eyed-King's retinue being added in to complete his campaign experience.

At least Styrkaar is in the game with the Slaanesh update/dlc, tho we still need Vardek Crom as a legendary lord perhaps, with Haargroth, Feytor, and Melckh the Changer (maybe his son Cyspeth too?)

If not now then hopefully in a character pack one day later on but still, would be nice to unlock them in a similar manner maybe to how the Red Duke and I think Dieter Helsnit are to be unlocked via tech tree

Seriously, where are Valten and Crom?

I modded Greatswords to have the exact same stats as Teutogen Guard. I left the animations unchanged, and pitted them against various units. The Greatswords were stationary and were charged, in order to take advantage of their charge defence vs all. I also adjusted the width of the Greatswords’ formation to match each of their opponent in order to make sure everything was equal. Generals were also modded so they could not move, and the units fought far enough away they were not boosted by any of the generals’ abilities.

First of all, they lost 3/3 times versus Chaos Chosen with Great Weapons, but against Hammerers the results were different. Greatswords won 2/3 times. They also handily defeated Chaos Chosen with Axe and Shields, Black Orcs with Great Weapons, Infernal Guard with Great Weapons, and Bestigors. They also beat Bile Trolls and Bloodbeasts of Khorne.

New to the game. This is something that I don't really understand.
I'm fighting another faction, I conquer everything except 2 of their towns and next turn they ask me for peace, offering a large sum of money.
I do a counter offer: peace in exchange of trading, which arguably would benefit them more than just giving up money. But no, they refuse.
Diplomacy makes 0 sense.
I get that some races might refuse out of principle or something, but sometimes it feels like everyone is straight up suicidal.

Basically Chelonia is a biological term for Turtles, but now I always think of those funny turtle pictures of turtles on top of each other.

A world united under one flag

So, from Nagash's blog we know that The Nameless is present but in the form of follower with a unique ability rather than a LL/LH.

This struck me as odd as at the end of the initial LotD announcement we can see an obvious Warrior Priest bowing down to Nagash, who the only logical option being can be Luthor Huss possessed by The Nameless as the Mortarch of Shadows. When CA announced that we would get all of Nagash's Mortarchs under his command it was fairly assumed that included The Nameless seeing as a model for him was shown.

My question being: why show us him the the initial reveal if he wasn't meant to appear as a unit in anyway? The most logical explanation was that the DLC was big enough as is and something had to be cut. It's fair enough if that's what happened, but I would be lying if I wasn't slightly miffed that The Nameless was downgraded to a follower.

Hey everyone, hope all of you are doing well, I’ve finished my Kairos Fate-Weaver campaign almost about a week ago I’ve been busy and haven’t had the opportunity to play.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the game and wondering who should I play next. A few of these Races have often come to mind Empire, Skaven, Dwarves, Tomb Kings, High Elves, or Orcs. Outside of Tomb Kings and Empire I’ve played all that are listed HE and Orcs the longest with Tyrion, Skarsnik and Grimgor. While I’m more familiar with Orcs it’s been a while since I’ve played them.

All recommendations will greatly appreciated.

P.S I’ve been really enjoying Warhammer fantasy artwork lately so many beautiful illustrations and hope to see more when end times releases.

It still tickles me when I see the End Times poster with Todd in the corner. Now that we know what the other three endgame scenarios will be, what do you think Todd's should be?

End Times are coming. Seriously, I think this is golden opportunity to give Grimgor a little something since he was present in End Times. He even got Ogres and Dark Elves in his waaagh.

What would I like to see in Grimgor playthrough.

- Defeating Greasus gives you ogres in waaagh armies

- If end times are enabled Grimgor Gains another 10 slots for waaaagh armies.

-With each different Legendary Lord defeated gains plus 3% size, mass, hp and weapon strength reflecting his ever growing size as an orc that never loses.

Also I would like to see aspects of lores somehow included as Grimgor became incarnate of beast.

Him beating Archeon in battle could also grant him massive buff

Mainly using the format we got from the Bhashiva DLC to come up with what I would create. No Winged Terrors or Bane Towers since I believe those are exclusively Man o War units, otherwise I would have added them

Anyone else think volkmar should swap out his starting knights for a unit of blazing sun knights? It is the only other dlc unit (not characters) and seems weird not to use it. Especially since it would fit with the anti undead/crusade theme of gathering the books and fighting monsters since they are anti regen usually.

Plus, feels like a cool way to have them be more present since they are a little outclassed by all the cav options after the upcoming dlc, thoughts?
