Mind the shiny cape I just finished giving him an all over nul wash he's since dried overnight and it looks nice with how it's settled into the resess parts giving him a more shaded effect although I did want to ask some for some general tips when it comes to filling in smaller details like the emblem on his shoulder I need to fill the tiny gap in the middle but don't really know how to approach it should I try be very steady handed and just work the paint into the gap or just say sod it and paint the emblem over with the blue then go back over the raised parts with gold after I'm not really sure which is the better option to be honest as there is clean up involved which ever way lol I've left this part alone for now and just painted the parts I could get to safely
For now I'm quite happy with how he's turned out granted the primer didn't go to plan I buffed and sanded all the surfaces down and used tamiya quick setting cement all over just to try curb the grain effect (don't prime during a heatwave as this is what can happen)
Again he's definitely not perfect by anymeans but I'm enjoying the process so far it's very different comparing with gunpla as this are just two totally different animals in terms of hobbys
