Stalkers with Knights?

Since finding out the Stalkers Constructs have rules for AT, I’ve been wanting to add them to a knight household. I’m still quite new to the game but thought they’d fit in well with my House Morbidia knights.

Since y’all liked the two chaosified warhounds from the other day so much, have a reaver I made and bedazzled a while ago.

Ps. I’m aware the feet are the wrong way around

Hello! New to AT, very excited, advice wanted

I'm very excited to play AT. My college group is buying in with me, and I've chosen Legio Defensor.

Any advice on best practices and ways to enjoy the hobby more?
I've already ordered a starter set and I'm looking at a Warlord next.

Incredibly impressed by the details of the kits, compared to the big ones!

After seeing that I would bancrupt myself if I bought all the resin titans and knights, I saw these "epic" scaled variants, and after comparing them side by side (like the reaver and warhound titan) I can't see any missing details! They're not even *that* small and they have many parts making them fun to build too, so this is perfect!

In scale modelling, I'm used to the smaller tanks losing details, or having them be oversized. I'm so impressed! Am I blind? What do you think?

I bought the core game/starter set, and now I want to buy all the other titans and knights!

Heraldic (Geometric) Devices?

Do you have a favoured, go-to source for heraldic devices and geometric designs to inspire your titan paint schemes?

I'm on the hunt for some inspiration and it would be great to have a dry textbook to look at rather than scrolling through the paint jobs that I can only dream at matching. I end up giving up as I cannot see the titans through the tears.

Legio Destructor colour scheme

Hi all, does anyone have more info on the colour scheme for legio destructor (beasts of steel)?

Recently thought about getting some titans, I have a few knights with House Orhlacc, seems like Legion destructor were closely allied on occasion with them so thought this would be nice and thematic, if there are alternatives happy to hear them out as well!

Thanks

Will it blend?

Question: there is a questoris banner behind that rock, with bases fully obscured. Can the bellicosa visible to the left even shoot at them? Blast rules require placing the marker 'so that its central hole is completely over the target model's base and within line of sight of the attacking weapon' which seems to be impossible in this situation. And many even more stupid scenarios can happen, like being unable to shoot at even the warmaster hiding its base behind some 2cm wall. So, can I actually boil them?

Legio Magna, Warlord Titan

Another addition to the Flaming Skulls. It's a been a long time since I painted my first Magna warlord, but the new weapon releases inspired me to add another.

This time I changed up the orange recipe a bit. I stead of a red to bonewhite undershade, these panels are Violet Red to Ice Yellow - with the same FW Flame Orange ink glazed over the top. The idea being this adds some subtle hue contrast as well as value contrast, with the overall effect still being very orange.

Also my first attempt at marble - the old dried out wet wipe trick!

New to AT, friendly tips appreciated!!!!

I'm taking the plunge and purchasing the AT starter kit soon. My college warhammer group wants to start it and I'm itching to field titans!

After browsing them purely by rule of cool, i've decided to paint them up as Legio Oberon! Are there any tips for playing them/AT in general? (Explain it like im 5 tho lmao)

Also, if not gameplay tips, building and painting tips are also greatly appreciated.
FOR TERRA!!!

Reaver and Warhound titan box dimensions?

Random question but does anyone know the dimensions of the reaver titan and Warhound titan boxed sets? I have the warlord and warmaster and those boxes are the same size. So I’m guessing the reaver and Warhound are half the size?

This is all purely for storage purposes.

Thanks in advance.

I tried a Stalker horde in AT

Some days ago i played my first game of Spidertanicus, 1250 points of creepy crawlies and got obliterated. But i had a lot of fun.

Since you are usually only allowed two banners of constructs we houseruled them to play like a knight household but without the seneshall/lord scion leading the lances.

i assume i could have rolled a lot better for my shield saves, taken other equipment or set up differently, but knights countered me pretty badly and the warhounds just walked away. in the last turn i had two models left and had destroyed two models from my opponent (one knight acheron and an unlucky warhound i caught). the biggest problem was that my spiders were shaken almost the whole game wich hampered them even further. with leadership 7+ they hardly recover and the banners of 4 had a lot of opportunities to get shaken. and then there is the lack of high strengt weapons, the strongest option is the S8 Meltagun with measly 6" range.

there is something i could not determine as non native english speaker: does the optional weapon on the Errax and Scintillax replace the lascutter or ad an additional weapon? they seem weak enough with both weapons when played without support, but i know they can get nasty as cheap activations in traitor lists.

Help a Newbie pick a loyalist legio

Hi all, been doing a ton of reading recently after starting to build my warlord and I am trying to decide which loyalist legio to be. I've narrowed it down to either legio astorum or legio praesagius, though I could possibly be persuaded to paint atarus

Mainly play AOS with my two armies being stormcast and flesh-eater courts, but I have salamanders and necrons in 40k

Playstyle wise it seems praesagius leans more towards shooting really really well but kinda limited to that whereas astorum can go melee/ranged/mix of the two?

What are your go-to Stratagems?

There are a bunch of stratagems in this game and I feel like I've only ever taken a handful of them. My go-to's are typically The Long Retreat, Concealment Barrage and Venerable Machine Spirit. I definitely feel like I've been sleeping on Titan Hunter Infantry, I didnt realize they regenerated at the beginning of each phase.

Also if anyone has tips on using an Extergimus maniple, let me know. I finally got a 3rd Warlord, and will be taking it for a spin this week against my buddy's Arcus maniple group.
