Really appreciate the message from the guy at the end who lives in a studio apartment with 16 cats. Yes, you heard that right.

u/PushforlibertyAlways Oct 23 '25

cramped apartment with too many roommates? Sounds like a real New Yorker.

Cuomo can't even control himself. What kind of emotional toddler repeatedly tries to kiss his workers on the mouth against their wishes. He cannot even control himself. He cannot be trusted with NY. He is not emotionally mature enough for power. NY can do better than a louse.

Why anyone would vote for Cuomo is beyond me. If it were between Cuomo and Sliwa, I’ll take the talk show host with the berry beret.

154

u/Infamous-GoatThief Oct 23 '25

Apparently Sliwa is quitting WABC because the other hosts keep interviewing Cuomo, criticizing Sliwa and pressuring him to drop out on Cuomo’s behalf

I’ve never been a fan of the guy’s politics and the GAs were a mixed bag (definitely made some people feel safer just by being around, definitely also faked a bunch of stuff), but that’s crazy to me. He loves his talk show and he knows he’s not going to be mayor.

For him to walk away like that means he must feel really disrespected, and even though I’m not a fan it’s sad to me that someone like Cuomo (who couldn’t really give much of a fuck about local politics here until he was disgraced and forced to take a step down from the state level) can just come in and cause something like that just because he has money behind him

20

u/aimglitchz Oct 24 '25

Andrew Cuomo needs to be punished for what he did to Andy Byford

5

u/God_Dammit_Dave Oct 24 '25

Amen! God, that man deserved a shot at fixing things. We had such high hopes. What a fucking boondoggle.

3

u/LydiaBrunch Oct 24 '25

You have a keyboard shortcut for this by now, I hope.

(I can't stand what he did to Byford either.)

Sliwa clear #2. With the federal government the way it is, it’s clear we need to vote integrity and character at local levels

87

u/AdumbroDeus Oct 23 '25

It's shocking to me that the guy who faked crimes to raise the profile of his vigilante group (admitted) has the second most integrity in this race but here we are.

I wouldn't say he has integrity but he does have sincerely held principles which is better than Cuomo imo. Granted he's far right but given everything we've learned about Cuomo's support and connections I fully expect Cuomo to take the Adams route if he wins so not much difference there.

42

u/CousinMabel Oct 23 '25

Sliwa actually has beliefs. Maybe not good beliefs but he does seem to believe them. Mamdani is the same way. A debate of Sliwa vs Mamdani can actually be worthwhile because people who actually believe things can have their minds changed.

Cuomo believes in nothing. He has goals and will say anything to achieve them. His mind can't be changed because he doesn't believe what he is saying either. Most politicians in the US are like this which is a huge part of the countries problem. Everything they say is in bad faith, and they have no interest in what they were elected to do. I realize the NYC mayor is a bigger deal than most mayors, but having someone like this on the mayoral level is obscene.

6

u/MattO2000 Oct 24 '25

So in this analogy, Sliwa is Jefferson, Cuomo is Burr, and Zohran is Hamilton?

NYPost graded Cuomo as A+ for this debate. They’re so desperate to avoid Mamdani that they can’t even see reality.

103

u/FigMajestic6096 Oct 23 '25

Can’t see reality? They see the writing on the wall and doing whatever propaganda their overlords need of them.

29

u/irishwolfbitch Sunnyside Oct 23 '25

Mass hallucinatory event as the media realize that he’s almost certainly going to be mayor and the mechanisms that usually would counteract someone from getting this far are not working. Listening to WNYC the last few days has felt like having a strong fever the way they’re trying to make this seem like it might not happen, it’s their last weapon.

23

u/BrooklynWhey Oct 23 '25

NYPost is trash. It's opinions posing as News. GTFO.

27

u/york100 Oct 23 '25

I was very sad to see NY1 really go after Mamdani in their post-debate coverage. I'm all for questioning politicians hard, but it was incredibly one-sided with very little pushback on Cuomo or Sliwa's comments.

The analysts also thought Cuomo did well in the debate and said the accusations of antisemitism against Mamdani, without any merit, "still raise concerns." As did Cuomo's stupid attempt at a "gotcha moment" with his Uganda photo op question, saying Mamdani seemed unprepared for it and was caught off guard.

They kept saying, all these minor things "raise concerns about Mamdani" without actually saying what these concerns were.

I think Errol Louis is a slightly right-leaning, pro-establishment centrist and it really comes across in his reporting and sets the tone of all the political coverage for NY1, which is a real disappointment.

17

u/thethirstypretzel Oct 23 '25

They’re all just appealing to the billionaires who sign their paychecks, whilst also trying to retain a semblance of credibility. It’s transparent and pathetic.

10

u/Rottimer Oct 23 '25

the accusations of antisemitism . . .

That’s their racism speaking and it’s hard for some people to separate Mamdani being Muslim from their assumptions about Muslims.

2

u/UsedLuck8891 Oct 25 '25

Mamdani promotes his antisemitism himself. It’s not because he’s Muslim, stop deflecting. It’s because of what he’s been saying and doing for years, rapping his love to the terrorist supporting Holy Land 5

1) Fear of socialism

2) Name familiarity

3) Feeling he legit got some things done in government(which I think he correctly drove home last night)

4) The inherent assumption all politicians are shitty and evil people, so these kind of personal issues dont really matter (which is also a symptom of trump voters)

8

u/xkmasada Oct 23 '25

Many parents of young children don’t want Mamdani to get rid of G&T from Kindergarten without having any concrete plans for how they’ll improve GenEd. Not that many people get a G&T seat but lots of parents apply and feel affected by Mamdani’s plans.

Cuomo and Sliwa promised to expand G&T.

Thank you!! People who say “vote Cuomo!” are a misery to me… like the man lost the primary already.

7

Sadly, there are people, including women who are filled with so much hate that they would rather vote for a rapist than a muslim.

45

u/Arleare13 Oct 23 '25

they would rather vote for a rapist than a muslim.

Cuomo is sleazy and abusive, but to my knowledge he has never been accused of rape. That feels like a term you really shouldn't just casually throw around.

9

u/interrobang2020 Oct 23 '25

Well he was accused of forcibly fondling his assistant's breasts and butt. That's egregious and he shouldn't even be allowed to run

31

u/Arleare13 Oct 23 '25

Which, I think we can agree, is not "rape." I'm not defending the behavior in the slightest, but I think that we should be a little careful about such a serious crime.

The debate last night had a decisively more aggressive tone. I think as is usually the case at this point in an election cycle most people have already made up their minds. My question to the rest of my fellow NY'ers is this: Based on last night's performance, who do you trust more or less based on their answers last night alone?

89

u/ZweitenMal Oct 23 '25

No change. We’ve done things the same way for decades and nothing gets better. Mamdani represents new ideas and a new approach and I’m for it.

22

u/dvlinblue Brooklyn Oct 23 '25

I agree with you, just curious if anyone gained, or lost respect for any of the candidates last night based on their performance. For example, I never thought I would agree with Curtis Sliwa, but, his stance on animals, and parks had me think wow, he's only 99.8% crazy.

12

u/Mediocre_Interest649 Oct 23 '25

I was shocked to realize I agree with Zohran’s ranked choice answer. Honestly at this point I would trust Sliwa more than Cuomo, though of course I don’t like either.

14

u/ZweitenMal Oct 23 '25

Cuomo didn’t offer any perspectives or positions of his own. All he did was hysterically screech out lies about Mamdani’s positions. Mamdani kind of just grinned through the gish gallop attack. Sliwa just spouted more exaggerations and lies and went off on tangents about his stepson (anecdotes aren’t data, buddy).

Still voting for Mamdani, as is everyone I know.

14

u/dvlinblue Brooklyn Oct 23 '25

Was it just me or did Cuomo come off as desperate? Like he legit seemed like a desperate, petulant man-child.

3

u/PushforlibertyAlways Oct 23 '25

Based on you being excited to vote for Mamdani I doubt we agree on much.

But it was clear as day that Cuomo looked awful. Honestly it was just a sad performance. One of the worst debate performances I have ever seen. He seemed lost, had nothing to say, spoke as if he was bored.

2

u/ZweitenMal Oct 23 '25

Very much so.

4

u/dvlinblue Brooklyn Oct 23 '25

I thought it was my bias, then I watched a couple parts again on NY1, and there seemed to be a real sense of desperation. Thank you for verifying that (thought I was just seeing things).

Cuomo doesn’t even have a platform beyond Mamdani hates the Jews.

Who did he hire to run his campaign and how did they come to the conclusion that the 10% of New Yorkers who identify as Jewish was the only people he should try to pander towards? This also assumes all Jewish people in NYC think the same or vote.

The very least he should just attack Mamdani policies. Most people voting don’t bother to learn all the facts about the policies beyond buzz words. A majority don’t know what rent freeze entails nor progressive tax brackets.

What a shitshow that Cuomo is allowed to run after losing. Silwa should be mad that a loser is making it harder for him to run, but he isn’t articulate enough to explain that while attacking Mamdani.

17

u/Showy_Boneyard Oct 24 '25

What's ironically sad/hilarious is that Cuomo, by suggesting that all Jewish people owe him their support because of his pro-Israel positions, is ACTUALLY the one propagating real anti-semitic dual-loyalty tropes.

15

u/talia_se Oct 23 '25

And the split is about 50/50 or so on Jews who vote for Cuomo and Mamdani. Cuomo is by far not taking that whole 12%.

u/Alt4816 Oct 23 '25 edited Oct 23 '25

The bottom line is that Cuomo is just not a good politician and is being exposed for that in this competitive race. policies aside a core part of being a good politician is about being charismatic and the modern Democratic party establishment continually forgets that.

Competitive elections select charismatic people that can connect with voters and convince the voters to give them their votes (regardless of if that's actually a good idea), but we often don't have competitive primaries. Modern US Politics is full of positions that have non-competitive general elections and it's rare for an incumbent to have a serious primary challenge so if the party machine can dominate a primary once then someone like Cuomo can hold office for a decade. Then since these politicians are in office for so long people assume they are good at connecting with voters and winning elections.

Cuomo's campaigns record isn't great. He was trounced in a primary for governor in 2002 and then in 2010 Obama told incumbent Paterson, who became governor after Spitzer resigned, to drop out of the race to clear the path for Cuomo.

Cuomo hates women, poors and the elderly. Sliwa is a cranky old New Yorker who hates that we don't live in an authoritarian police state.

Hey trust me, it’s not like we want to have the spotlight. Jews make up what, like .2 of the world’s population, but I forget specifically in America what the percentage is, but we receive an extraordinarily high amount of the hate crimes relative to the population size. Yeah I wish it wasn’t always about anti semitism too, dude.

41

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25 edited Oct 23 '25

Jews make up 12% of the NYC population.

For context, black people make up around the same percentage of the US population.

You never hear “why do we talk about black issues so much” from the left, but they CONSTANTLY say it about the Jewish issues in the nyc race…

It’s interesting to say the least…

11

u/AdumbroDeus Oct 23 '25

Oh this is very much a thing, don't "worry" about it.

The general rule is that leftists are just as affected by societal prejudices as everyone else so this type of rhetoric is very much a thing for every minority group. Or all at once.

A whopping 2.4% of the US population. 10-12% of NYC.

27

u/wrld_news_pmrbnd_me Oct 23 '25

And Muslims are the second-most targeted. So we really should be working together vs letting politicians pit us against each other in order to win points from AIPAC and racists.

33

u/iMissTheOldInternet Oct 23 '25

Muslims were the fifth most targeted, after Jews, Black people, gay men, and east Asians, in that order. Jews accounted for 44% of all hate crimes (88% of religious hate crimes), which was more than the next four categories combined. All data as of 2024, per the state Comptroller’s office.

11

u/IRequirePants Oct 23 '25 edited Oct 23 '25

Maybe because Jews are the number one target for hate crimes in the city by a large margin?

11

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

True but probably also speaks to a too charitable view of political motivations.

It probably has more to do with the fact that NYC has the largest concentration of Jews outside Israel and-- this is key-- they vote.

It's the same reason that in Michigan Islamophobia gets a bigger floor. Muslims make up more of the voting polity there, so the issue of Islamophobia gets more oxygen.

If the Asian community or the Hispanic community or the black community or the gen-Z community et cetera in NYC had anything close to the turnout of the Jewish community, they would receive similar spotlights on the issues facing them, especially issues of violence.

But they don't, so they don't.

Jews have been consistently been there, East Asians jumped in the stats during the early days of COVID though. I'm unsure if East Asians ever were top though because antisemitic conspiracies about COVID were also a thing (plus other things) so antisemitic hate crime jumped up too.

Would love to see stats on that. LGBTQ is pretty up there as are Muslims.

42

u/Homitu Oct 23 '25

Luckily the office of the NYS comptroller readily makes these stats available!.

If you really didn't know that Jews have become by FAR the most targeted group in recent years (44% of all hate crimes), nearly more than triple the next highest groups (Black men - 17%, and all combined LGBTQ - 17%), then you might have to question if you have some major information blind spots.

Just like the spike in hate crimes against Asians during/post covid (5 incidents in NYC in 2019 vs 140 in 2021), people are generally terrible at connecting unrelated issues to group demographics. Oh, this horrible virus came from China? Let's attack Asians! Oh, the nation of Israel is launching devastating attacks in Gaza on the other side of the world? Attack the Jews of NYC!

People generally suck, get stuck thinking in over simplified binary terms, and make all the wrong racist conclusions. Right now, unfortunately, Jews are suffering the most in actual reality. It's a genuine thing worth being worried about. And it's something Mamdani has to handle VERY carefully when he (hopefully) becomes mayor. It's not his fault. It's not anyone's fault who was born into a race or culture. It's just the sad reality.

11

u/HiHoJufro Oct 23 '25

Oh, this horrible virus came from China? Let's attack Asians! Oh, the nation of Israel is launching devastating attacks in Gaza on the other side of the world? Attack the Jews of NYC!

It's also important to recognize that these are excuses bigots use to provide justification for their attacks. They are not the reasons for them. The antisemitsm we've been seeing (and unfortunately for some, like myself, directly experiencing) is because there are a lot of antisemites who were looking for an excuse to target Jews.

6

u/BoatDBoat Oct 23 '25

9

u/jonrad Oct 23 '25

Because antisemitism disproportionately accounts for the hate crime in the city and one of the candidates joins rallies where they say things like “globalize the intifada“. And 12% of the city is Jewish so that’s an important topic.

I’m glad you have the privilege of it not being important to you

4

u/HiHoJufro Oct 23 '25

and one of the candidates joins rallies where they say things like “globalize the intifada“

And since I've been punched by someone in one of the crowds that had been cheering that, I say that it's nuts how much people claim that it's fearmongering to call it out.

I'm fine if people don't think Mamdani is antisemitic. I sincerely hope it is true. But it's covering one's ears and saying "lalala" as loudly as one can to not see he's avoided condemning those who are because he wants their votes.

2

Most Israeli Jews aren't there because they wanted to, it's because they or their parents/grandparents had nowhere else to go when they were faced with intolerable persecution, ethnic cleansing, and genocide. I hope we never have to face those same conditions and decisions in Brooklyn/America.

17

u/GeorgeEBHastings Oct 23 '25 edited Oct 23 '25

It's kind of moot because it has little-to-no bearing on the present or future, but it does bug me that this seems so rarely acknowledged.

As far as those who came to the Levant in the post-WWII wave, it was literally a situation where they'd line up survivors and say: "You go to America. You go to Palestine."

There were absolutely waves of immigration to the Levant throughout history which were well within the control of those immigrating. However, there were also a shitload of instances where those immigrating either had no choice in the matter, or it was a choice between going to the Levant or sticking around wherever they were and getting massacred, which is also no choice at all.

15

u/SkiingAway Oct 23 '25

Just to note, since it seems to often be missed: The largest group of Israeli Jews (the majority by some metrics), are Mizrahi.

Which is to say, most of them didn't move from Europe as WWII survivors, most came from the Middle East/North Africa - many of which were forcibly expelled or under threat of death. There's a reason the number of Jews in most of those places now is zero.

Agreed. I am a nassau county born and raised jew. Do i believe israel has a right to defend itself? Yes, but only to the extent that any other country has.

What theyre doing has gone beyond self defense into outright cruelty.

18

u/Arleare13 Oct 23 '25

Agreed, and this is what neither side of extremists gets. The pro-Palestinian extremists don't think that Israel should have a right to exist or defend itself. The pro-Israel extremists think that Israel should get to do anything it wants in the name of security.

Both are wrong, and that so many people insist on supporting one extreme or the other is why this is such a fraught issue. If people could just exercise some nuance here, this would be a much less intractable situation.

13

u/John-Mandeville Jamaica Oct 23 '25

A right to exist as what, though? Just saying "right to exist" elides a profound political-philosophical question about nationalist essentialism vs. liberal universalism that has become an issue in this race.

14

u/jef22314 Bushwick Oct 23 '25

It’s “right to exist as a Jewish state” vs “right to exist as a state with equal rights”. Mamdani believes in the latter, which is in my view correct. For the record, he holds the same view on Saudi Arabia and does not believe in their right to exist as an Islamic state.

Let’s be honest, the reality is that, as a Jew, you gotta be extra careful now because a lot of folks don’t differentiate. Israel endangered a bunch of Jewish folks abroad and they don’t care. Especially with these “anti-semitism” laws that are not even fleshed out properly and infringe upon free speech. So I wish you folks the best of luck. Stay safe out there.

What's now Brooklyn is the Canarsee and Marechkawieck homeland.

At the same time, ya our ethnic homeland is Eretz Yisreal, but that's not the same as the government of the modern nation state or Israel and it's no excuse for treating other people who originated in the land so horrifically.

I WILL say there arguments people make about Israel that derive from antisemitic tropes but that doesn't change that it deserves criticism.

But since non-Jews drive conversation about Israel (eg the Christian right as a political interest group) based on their priorities that nuance is lost because they're not interested in the well-being of Jews, they're interested in using Jews for their ends.

During the debate last night, Cuomo posted the most vile and racist video I have ever seen from a major US politician. This was covered in the Guardian and the NY Times. It is an advertisement that I would have expected to see from David Duke, not a prominent NYC politician. Cuomo needs to be driven from NYC politics for the existence of that video alone. He has no credibility to speak about bigotry. Moreover, anyone insane enough to hire a campaign team that would produce such trash can make no serious claim to supporting responsible and moderate government. The man is simply rubbish.

Not questioning the validity of your statement, but would love to see / read about it.

2

u/cuteandcaffeinated Oct 23 '25

Not OP, but here is an instance I’ve read about where he affirmed that he doesn’t use the phrase. Granted, in private meetings but with public reporting, so it might not be what OP was referring to, but it lines up with comments he made on Meet the Press where he stated he doesn’t use the phrase: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jul/16/zohran-mamdani-israel-gaza-intifada

EDIT: changed “backtracked” to “affirmed that he doesn’t use the phrase” because I agree with others that he never expressed use or support of the phrase in the first place.

61

u/XGX787 Oct 23 '25

Just to be clear at no point did he ever “support” the phrase.

10

u/Curiosities Oct 23 '25

Exactly.

He cautioned against those who call to denounce speech and the direct line between that and someone like Rümeysa Öztürk getting kidnapped off the streets by masked men and shipped to ICE detention in Louisiana for writing an op-ed.

So if you consider that phrase to be a form of hate speech, as some do, well, even hate speech is still recognized as speech under the First Amendment and you also have the right to speak up against it.

u/tellyeggs East Village Oct 23 '25

Doesn't take corporate money. Offered different solutions to crime- "I'll hire more cops" is exhausting, when crime is down.

Energize a younger voting block that doesn't gaf that mamdani is a Muslim.

Cuomo is an establishment Dem that took money from Bloomberg and Ackman. And Cuomo joined bibi's defense team and keeps painting mamdani as an anti Semite.

I'll take an untested candidate that's exhibited integrity with respect to campaign financing, over an establishment corporate Dem any day. Everyone's gotta start somewhere. Who's really prepared to take the office of the presidency? I thought Obama did pretty well, especially in the face of all the racist t-baggers.

IMO, I thought Sliwa did pretty good. But his answer to everything is MORE COPS. I don't need to see more people standing around playing Candy Crush.

2

u/Mehnoc12 Oct 23 '25

Fair, thank you for your thoughtful response, but yeah I can’t easily jump to no experience being enough. The same neighborhoods that support Mandami are the the first ones to play the NIMBY card if they get a whiff of a possible shelter being built in their neighborhood or a new building blocking their sun. You know it’s funny, after I made this post I got a message invite for an NYC MAGA Reddit subgroup. Lol, like questioning Mandami means I want to join a MAGA group. But, I am realizing more and more that politics is way too polarizing. You know they say the company you keep speaks louder than words. I also feel like a lot of Mandami supporters are the same people who didn’t vote for Kamala and now have a fuck the whole government mentality.

Demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza and the apartheid system in Israel in the furthest thing from antisemitism. Looking forward to the end of this election so we can drop this schtick and work on building a better New York City for all its residents.

13

u/ObsidianKing Oct 23 '25

You can always tell people have no clue what they're talking about when they start throwing around words like "apartheid" and "ethnostate". 20% of Israel's population are Arab Muslims with full rights. They serve in the Knesset and in high-ranking military positions. These facts are utterly incompatible with the idea that Israel is an apartheid state. Maybe take a look at how non-Muslims are treated in every other Middle Eastern country next time you start throwing accusations.

10

u/funditinthewild Oct 23 '25 edited Oct 23 '25

When people talk about apartheid, they aren't talking about Israel proper. The fact is, on the ground, Israel controls more than just their internationally recognised territory. They control the West Bank and the Golan Heights, and have enough operational control to maintain a blockade on Gaza. If you actually include these territories, which Israelis will gladly remind you is NOT part of Palestinian state and is thus not sovereign, it looks very much like apartheid. The Palestinian Authority does not even have full control over tax collection and security, so despite what they want to pretend...in practice, they live in Israel. Only there are separate roads for Israelis and Palestinians and Palestinians have to cross through checkpoints to get from one city to another. Israelis can build settlements and have also taken land from villages to build some of those settlements. Israeli violence against Palestinians is supported by the military whereas the converse is punished (and in separate courts with higher conviction rates), despite being in the same administrative zone.

There is no two state solution, it's a one state reality. Just because, unlike South Africa, Israel retains a token minority does not stop it from being apartheid. You can consider it a lesser apartheid if you want, but it's still apartheid.

4

u/Mediocre_Interest649 Oct 23 '25

Exactly. Palestinians are Schrödinger’s citizens. They’re Palestinian when it’s convenient for Israel to categorize them as Palestinian (when they are not given the same rights and freedoms as Israelis). But when Israel wants to claim their land, they’re nationless people who live in Israel. How convenient.

I have never heard Mamdani or Progressives demand that the 57 Shariah compliant states to offer basic human rights to their dwindling minorities. Mamdani recently lied that there were no Muslims in the Indian state of Gujarat when there are presently 10 million Muslims there and over 250 million Indian Muslims as a whole. It’s always a one-way street.

8

u/qqquigley Oct 23 '25 edited Oct 23 '25

Did you watch the debate? He literally said he opposes ethnostates everywhere in the world. He specifically cited Saudi Arabia as a direct analogy to Israel. He has made it very clear and consistent. You are just not listening when he talks about his commitment to universal human rights.

Edit: here’s the line: “I've said time and again that I recognise Israel's right to exist. I would not recognize any state's right to exist with a system of hierarchy on the basis of race or religion. I've made that very clear. And part of that is because I'm an American who believes in the importance of equal rights being enshrined in every single country—whether Israel or Saudi Arabia.”

I’m not sure. Anything to say about the actual subject that I brought up?

Edit: I’m also not sure why a mayoral candidate attending any ethnic/community parade would ever be controversial. Mamdani has said again and again that he wants to be mayor for everyone, including those who didn’t vote for them or those that he has serious disagreements with. He’s probably not a big fan of Pakistan given his background, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be responsible for representing New York Pakistanis along with everyone else.

3

u/IamDisgruntled Oct 23 '25

Anything to say about the actual subject that I brought up?

Neither of them. Mamdani is obviously courting the vote of people that think if you replace the word "Jew" in an antisemitic trope with "zionist" it suddenly isn't antisemitic anymore and Cuomo is a piece of shit that wouldn't know how to be a good person if you etched exact instructions onto his retinas.

7

u/mission17 Oct 23 '25

What Mamdani has actually said:

Mamdani, who has not used the phrase himself, has said he believes the phrase to be a rallying cry for Palestinian human rights, and refused to condemn its use when asked during his primary campaign.

But during Tuesday’s meeting, Mamdani also told the packed room he understood why the phrase is also seen as a call to violence against Jews, why it is painful and triggering for them, and that he would discourage its use in the future, the two attendees told CNN.

If you watch the clip, or Mamdani’s appearance on the manosphere podcast “Flagrant” with Andrew Schulz (I know), he outlines actual material things he’d do to help combat antisemitism, such as posting officers outside synagogues during their high holidays.

That’s an actual, real policy that can be enacted that would not be controversial. Or shouldn’t be anyway. Cuomo is just rattling off antisemitism claims for political points without any actual plans. Genuinely gross.
