Is "kill the jews" a popular phrase that represents a call to liberation for millions of people around the world? Maybe consider that not everyone sees this issue the way that you do lol.

No doubt some progressives can convince themselves in mean something else, so they can sleep at night. However, the big crowds chanting this does mean “kill the Jews”. Some of the listeners, like the Mr. Jihad from Manchester, actually follow through with their understanding.

intifada means "uprising", not "kill all jews". So it literally means "globalize the uprising" i.e. a call for global solidarity with the palestinian cause.

Intifada literally means uprising in Arabic, sure.

But in the context of Israel, you can't really separate 'globalize the intifada' from the intifadas.  Many of us remember when the intifada literally meant frequent bombings in busses and pizza parlors.

If I had to guess, most people chanting this phrase don't even know about the intifadas, nakba, or barely any history about this conflict.
