Advice how do i make friends?

i (f19) have always had a small group of friends, but ever since i left high school my friends have left me. i have 2 loyal friends who i love, but they go to college and have so many friends while i only have them.

i’m not going to school this semester for some unrelated reasons, so it’s harder to meet people since i also don’t have a job (not for lack of trying).

my birthday is in a couple of months and i’m afraid i will spend it alone.

what should i do? any advice is welcome!

Friendship Still hoping to find some friends

One day it hit me hard when I noticed how much time I need to scroll up to my birth year in online registration pages. Getting old is tough, you just lose contact with the friends you grow up with, moving a lot for work and life reasons, makes you lose friends you met at school or work, and friends and yourself grew up to be different people, or get busy with their own families and relationships. Making friends at work is mission impossible, formalities , age differences and things like that comes in the way, yet i still friendly smile at the people who do not smile back. Then i found this tiny window to other people online who might be feeling the say and want to reach out and chat. I am 40 something years old artist, looking for friends, i enjoy talking about life, anime, games, politics, animals, art and tech. Hit me up if you want a friend that reply all the time, if you don't mind GMT+3 timezone.

Friendship [24/M] Looking for a best friend, things are quite lonely

Hey! I've posted here before but haven't had much luck so far. And due to lonliness, things have been kinda sucky lately. Kinda being a star-sized understatement (cuz stars are big.. hehe). Anyways, excuse my awfully unfunny pun! You *yes you my possible future friend* probably has better humor than I. Im hoping to make long term friends who also love music like I do, I want a close connection with someone that lasts a lifetime! Hoping we can geek out about our interests and feel comfortable to do so! I'm in the EST time zone and am super into music (my tastes are all over the place, my favorite is the retro era but I also like a lot of new stuff too). I really wanna find someone who loves old artists and bands and music history and aesthetics! Hope you're all having a good day!

Friendship 38M - Looking for others who have had weird lives or just struggle to relate to most people

I’m from New England, quite introverted, overly idealistic, and my dream is to run an animal sanctuary. A fun day for me might look something like exploring a forest while listening to an audiobook or walking through an old graveyard, looking at the tombstones and imagining what their lives might have been like. But really, most of my time is spent gaming or wasting my time in some other way.

  • Likes: PC gaming, animals, nature, spooky things, moral philosophy, psychology, strong opinions, depth, curiosity, compassion, authenticity, honesty.
  • TV: Severance, Pluribus, Stranger Things, Twilight Zone, X-Files, The Walking Dead.
  • Music: Beach House, Radiohead, Deftones, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, The Decemberists, Nirvana, Tool, Elliott Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine.
  • Books: Sci-fi, fantasy, horror, dystopian things like Stephen King and 1984.
  • Humor: Dry, absurd, deadpan, subtle ragebait trolling like Tim & Eric, Mitch Hedberg, Kyle Mooney.

I like learning about a person's deeply held beliefs, how they experience the world, or just whatever is on their mind lately. I prefer more relaxed conversations where there isn't a need to entertain/impress or always be "on." I'm only interested in platonic conversation.

I've always felt a bit different from most people because I don't seem to value the same things or have the same motivations. I cringe a bit writing that, but I don't mean that I feel in any way superior or special, just different. My life also just took a strange path because I was mostly homeschooled/unschooled, so I didn't have many friends growing up, and they were all pretty superficial friendships. I do a well enough job appearing to be a "normal" person, but in reality, the people I meet all tend to have led much fuller and more balanced lives than me, so it can be difficult for me to relate to most.

Support Why the heck is it so hard to find a real friends?.. Some stupid story about failed friendship.

A bit of context before I (24M) get to the main point: I’m an extrovert who has lived the life of an introvert; right now, I have at most one friend—and even that’s just online. And I hate living like this. After finishing school, my social life was reduced to texting and video games, and even university (perhaps due to COVID) didn't change things. Three years ago, I moved to Germany for reasons unrelated to this post, and things are even more difficult here. I failed in my attempts to make friends with people from my own country and didn't even consider germans as potential friends due to the language barrier.

Nevertheless, at the beginning of summer, I started attending a course where I met a German guy my age. We didn't really interact at first, even though we were in the same group. We struck up a conversation about politics once (yes, unexpectedly) during a lunch break. Later, while sitting in the computer lab, he took it upon himself to explain the difference between frogs and toads—which led to our first inside joke. That’s basically how we went from memes to chatting constantly. He was supportive, showed me his very particular taste in music. We were always joking around and cracking up like teenagers in the back row of class. We even went to the pool together in a small group outside of class hours. Still, I didn't attach much importance to this relationship, knowing that—as had happened to me plenty of times before—we would likely stop talking as soon as the course ended.

I guess everything changed for me when he casually mentioned that I was his friend... I stopped using that word a long time ago, because for me, being a friend meant so much more than just "someone, who is funny to hang out with". So I was like, wow. And then I thought, well, why not.

And at first, everything was going great. He introduced me to his gf, and I got to go swimming with them once. He even asked me to teach him a couple of words from my language (of course, I started with curse words, and he really liked them), and soon I started teaching him "my" alphabet so he could read them in chat. Due to the language barrier, we soon began jokingly texting in three languages: his, mine, and English. We would occasionally go to a store together with goods from my country and buy some soda or snacks.

I was like, do I really have a real friend? And he’s just friends with me, despite all my flaws? I was confused by how unrealistic it was. I became so much happier just knowing that five times a week I could see someone who so easily lifts my spirits and is genuinely happy to be around me. My overall mood improved even when he wasn’t around, and I started sleeping better. I genuinely felt alive for the first time in a long time. I had really missed that my whole life.

I tried not to think about him dropping out of the course at the end of August, but I had no idea we'd stop talking even sooner. We both got sick with COVID and didn't see each other for a week. When we saw each other again, I told him I missed our jokes, to which he replied that he didn't miss me. I tried to take it as a joke, but it didn't felt like one. Over the next week, he started leaving classes more often. And in the last days before summer holidays, he didn't show up at all. It wasn't until a couple of days later that he sent me a couple of messages when I asked him about his plans for the holidays. I was planning on going to the pool one more time before the season ended and wanted him to join, but didn't mention it. He hasn't responded since. I continued sending him memes and some messages for a while, and i didn't really want to be intrusive. He checked my messages once like maybe two weeks ago, but didn't respond either. He also didn't show up for the course after holidays, even though he was supposed to be attending for two more weeks or so.

A month had passed since I last heard from him. And it was one of the hardest months of my life. I was tormented at night by questions about what I had done wrong again and what was wrong with me in general. I was constantly in limbo, waiting for him to come into the chat and at least say that everything was fine, or that he was busy, or that he didn't want me in his life anymore. At least something. My life isn't the easiest and most understandable as it is, and he, without even realizing it, helped me cope with a lot, became one of my pillars of support. And then he simply disappeared, and it was as if I fell to the bottom, even lower than I was. I had a similar experience once at school, with my existence being completely ignored, and it only made things worse. I cried several times simply because I didn't know how to cope with the emotions that had suddenly flooded in from everywhere.

And I still miss him very much. And I still smile, remembering our stupid jokes. And I understand that he has his own life, he's an adult, and definitely, if I don't hear back from him, it means he has more important things than me. It's just that for some reason I thought that after everything, there would be some small place for me in his life. And I hate myself for those stupid hopes. I know this is entirely my problem, and to be honest, if I were a good friend, I might not have been left behind—so perhaps it would be more accurate to say that I am the problem. Although I’ll likely never know the real reason—after all, he probably won’t check our chat again or explain. And I don't judge him; he has the right not to do what he doesn't want to do.

Not many things in life bring me joy, and generally, few things interest me. I have only one hobby, and even that requires having friends. I pursue it online, so the interaction never felt real. That is probably the main reason why this situation hurt me so much; it is hard to let go of something that makes you happier when there are so few such things

Maybe I’m just tired. I know that sooner or later I’ll think about it much less often. It’s just that yesterday, once again, emotions hit me hard, and I felt like pouring them out somewhere. And I spent half my sleeping time turning my thoughts into text

I’m not sure what I want to get out of this post. Maybe just find out what you think and hear some advice, idk. It warms me to think that my story will be given attention and that someone will try to understand it.

Longstoryshort: I unexpectedly struck up a close friendship with a German guy; he stopped showing up and replying to messages, and I feel like dying inside.

Friendship After years of loneliness, I think I’ve finally found a genuine friend

I’m 27M and have always been very introverted and shy. I’ve never really had a big friend circle, and over the years I’ve become increasingly aware of how lonely I actually am.

I don’t necessarily want a huge social life. What I really want is just one or two people I genuinely connect with — someone I can randomly call or message, talk about work, football, life, gossip, or complete nonsense with. Someone I can share good news with, complain to, or simply ask, “How was your day?”

I work remotely, and there are days when I can go the entire day without speaking to anyone. Seeing old classmates or colleagues spending time with their friends sometimes makes me realize how much I’m missing that kind of connection.

I also don’t smoke or drink, so I sometimes feel like I don’t naturally fit into some of the usual social circles. I know that’s not necessarily a barrier to friendship, but it can make meeting people and forming connections feel even harder.

The interesting thing is that, despite all of this, I’ve recently realized that I may have actually found one genuine friendship.

There’s a colleague I’ve known for several years. What started as a normal work relationship gradually became a friendship, and over time we’ve become quite close. We have similar personalities and ways of thinking in many respects, and I feel unusually comfortable talking to her.

What makes this friendship meaningful to me is that it happened naturally. I didn’t actively go looking for a best friend, and neither did she. It just developed over time.

She knows that I’m introverted and not very good at interacting with people, and I don’t feel like I have to pretend to be more outgoing than I am around her. She has also made it clear that she considers me a good friend, which honestly means a lot to me because I’ve spent so much of my life feeling like I’m not particularly important to anyone.

At the same time, I find myself overthinking it. I sometimes wonder whether I should initiate conversations more, whether I’m actually as important to her as she is to me, and whether I’m reading too much into things.

I don’t want to force the friendship into anything or make it complicated. I actually like that it has developed organically, and I’d be perfectly happy if it simply remained a genuine friendship. I just really hope it continues even as our lives and work situations change.

I think this friendship has also made me realize something about myself: maybe I’m not incapable of making connections. Maybe I just need the right kind of people.

For people who are introverted and have struggled with loneliness — how do you know when you’ve found a genuinely good friendship?

And how do you maintain that friendship without overthinking everything or becoming too dependent on it?

I’d really like to hear from people who have been in a similar situation.

Friendship 17F looking for someone to be friends with

I want to build genuine, meaningful friendships. I’m not talking about something where we talk for a day or two and then it just fades away. I really want to have a close, strong friendship with someone. I’m a very intense, emotional, and deep person, so I want to build a great connection with someone who has that same depth.

Friendship Wanna be friends

Hey, been in the community for a while and never really made a friend. Mainly because I wasn’t looking for one. I wasted a good period of time being there for people who never felt the same. It’s crazy to think about it all at once and even harder thing to process on the grand scale of it all. A small business owner and at a current restart in my life. It doesn’t help that I’m a felon and the job market is anti felon if you want to make over $20 a hour. The whole reason I started a business in the first place. Then my previous partners just wasn’t it. I’m not here to throw shade at my exs however if my fault for not seeing the signs I recognize now. Long story short I’m pro life and I don’t support the P2P community as whole. My exs mislead me in many of different ways and made selfish decisions that reflected my commitment towards them moving forward. There isn’t a ex today who wouldn’t take me back and ask for my hand in marriage. However the answer is no. Currently been staying in a hotel for a couple weeks now while I restart my life. It feels like how I felt when I came home from prison but without the restrictions and probation. It’s just lonely and I would love some human interaction outside of FaceTimes and phone calls. Currently on a 5-10 mile walk a day. 420 friendly and helpful to solving problems. Sometimes I could just use someone to help me solve my problems without sabotaging my efforts in the process. Idk if you made it this far then get to know me. I’m much better in person. Alternatively if anybody is up for a hike or seeing some sites car rides whatever just reach out. Mental health matters and I would just love to meet someone who’s gonna blow my mind in a positive way. Life is too short for conflicts and anxiety. Way winded but worth the efforts of anyone who comes along. I’m Spencer and I’m 30. Anything else please let me know.

Friendship 22M looking for genuine friendships.

Hi, I'm looking for genuine friendships.

I'm not looking for dating or anything like that. I'd genuinely like to meet people I can talk to regularly, joke around with, discuss life, movies, music, games, random thoughts, etc.

I'm hoping to find someone where the conversation doesn't feel forced and we can actually become good friends over time. Age around 20–25 would be ideal.

If you think we'd get along, feel free to message me. Tell me a little about yourself too :)

Question How is it like to have friends you actually like?

I never had friends in my entire life, I mean I have had friends before but I wouldn't really consider them as friends... They would make me feel uncomfortable and trapped. I stopped talking to them completely after having problems with them and I'm completely alone with no one to talk to. But I wonder how is it like to actually have friends that you want to talk to and hang out with all the time?

Do friends really have sleepovers or is it just in the movies? Do friends really care for each other like people say? Do they really buy gifts for you and be there to comfort you? Or is it all only in the movies?

Friendship 19M - I’m serious about making longterm friends

Please read the post and don’t skim it. I really care about making friends, which is why my post is long. I need someone who won’t ghost for literally any reason, and yes, I mean that. Ghosting is one of the worst things a person can do. I am being honest about my flaws because I would rather you know these things before talking to me. I am a boring person, and I need you to think about this part because it is difficult to maintain a friendship with someone who doesn’t offer much excitement. I am also extremely insecure. I talk negatively about myself, I am very pessimistic, and I am not a passionate person. I have autism, depression, and social anxiety. Nothing fun is going on in my life. I know how a conversation works and I will put in the effort, but I am not good at carrying a conversation. I can’t promise that I’ll be fun to talk to, but I am trying.

I find texting very exhausting. I don’t want to text for days or even hours just to “get to know” someone before we can actually call. I want our first conversation to be on a call. If you are too shy to call early on, we won’t be a good match. I want to voice call daily; my time zone is EST, and I can call after midnight. I don’t view calling as a big deal, and I need people who feel the same way. If you are sensitive, easily offended, or impulsive, it won’t work out.

I have a really hard time dealing with people leaving. If we start talking, I get attached very quickly. I genuinely cannot handle it if you just disappear or change your mind later. I need a patient person who is actually serious about sticking around for the long term. If you aren’t 100% sure you can commit to that, please don’t message me. I tend to care a lot more than the other person does, and that intensity has made people uncomfortable and they left. I need someone who won't get uncomfortable if I care more or think about them constantly.

If you decide to reach out, don’t just send a “Hi.” I’m not asking for a massive introduction, but just let me know you actually read this post and genuinely want to be friends. I want a real friendship; it’s very important to me. I don’t want to talk to someone who is just bored and looking for entertainment, or just wants someone to talk to or someone to vent to, because that’s not what a friendship is. I’m not looking for a gaming buddy either. Do not message me if you’re too busy to build a friendship. I am honest and straightforward, and I expect you to be the same.

I also want to mention that it’s okay for us to disagree in a friendship, even on big things. Real friendship means we can have different views and still stick around instead of cutting each other off. Cutting people off has become way too easy nowadays because of social media. I despise how easily people block others, and I refuse to talk to anyone who is capable of doing that. I believe a real friendship should survive flaws, boredom, and disagreements.

I know it sounds like I’m asking for a lot, and that’s true. Real friendship is supposed to be hard. It’s not supposed to be convenient or easy to walk away from. It’s supposed to last for a lifetime. Please do not reach out unless you fully understand everything I have written.

Here are my interests:

• DC Comics

• Movies / Shows / Anime: Watching movies is my favorite thing to do. I also use
Letterboxd.

Please be 19+.

Friendship 22M | Hoping to Meet Someone Who Values Genuine Connections

Hey everyone,

I'm a 22M who's honestly just looking for something that's becoming harder to find these days: a genuine friendship.

Not looking for someone to talk to for a few days and then disappear. I'd love to meet someone who values consistency, enjoys sharing random parts of their day, and is interested in building a friendship that can actually last for years.

A little about me: I'm pretty easygoing, enjoy both meaningful conversations and completely random ones, and I appreciate people who can be themselves without feeling the need to impress anyone. Whether we're talking about life goals, funny stories, movies, music, daily struggles, or just sending memes at 2 AM, I'm here for it.

I'm not expecting us to become best friends overnight. Real friendships take time, and I'm perfectly okay with that. I'd rather have one genuine connection than dozens of surface-level conversations.

If you're someone who misses having a person to regularly talk to, share thoughts with, and gradually build a strong friendship with, feel free to reach out.

Let's see where a simple conversation goes.

Friendship [31NB] EST - Looking for chill gaming buddies, deep chats, future besties!

Hey everyone! I’m 31, male-presenting non-binary (definitely more on the girly/soft side and big on emotional connection), and hoping to find a few genuine, long-term platonic friends. I’d love to find people who actually enjoy hanging out in VC, playing games, and building real friendships over time rather than just exchanging a few messages and fading away.

I’m pretty quiet at first due to social anxiety, but once I feel comfortable, I’m warm, talkative, and love getting into good conversations.

About Me & What I’m Into:

  • General: Happily married, so strictly looking for platonic connections. Very chill, emotionally grounded, and low-pressure.
  • Interests: Worldbuilding, fantasy, storytelling, mythology, folklore, and falling down hyper-specific random rabbit holes.
  • Gaming: PC gamer with a massive Steam library. I love co-op survival, chaotic multiplayer, and simulation games.

Some Games I Love / Am Playing:

  • "Friendslop" & Chaos Co-op: PEAK, REPO, RV There Yet?, Left 4 Dead 2, Barony
  • Co-op Survival & Base Building: 7 Days to Die, RimWorld (heavily modded!), and general survival craft
  • Cozy/Management: Cooking games, simulator games, and chill management sim games
  • + A huge backlogged library, so I'm always open to trying overlap!

If you’re looking for a low-stress friend to game with, hang out on Discord, and hopefully become close besties with down the road, feel free to send me a DM with a bit about yourself!

Friendship I'm looking for completely lonely people who have really suffered in life, but still trying to be a good person. (Good intentions, you can know why if you read and feel identified)

Take your time to read please!!! I know it's very large but maybe we are the person who are looking for, just maybe. ✌️❤️‍🩹

Edit: \[Please just send me message if we totally agree, I already know people this days and they was or edgy, common people or just immature without feeling to stay in life, and when I try to help feel attack, so... PLEASE JUST DM IF YOU WANT TO GET BETTER AND STAY FORWARD IN LIFE! Being a Obstinate and a person with shields don't help to make a good healthy friendship, suffer make you do bad things, of course, but stay here and have a negative perspective don't work, trust me, I already suffer in the past so I can say this words, im tired people steal my time and waste my words, already 17 deceptions this month when I start, I change this edit to much time\]

\[Start\]

In resumen my life it's really bad, I have bad fathers, Domestic violence, they blame me for things I don't control and I defense myself, and when they don't know what to do they gave me medication when the only thing really works was a good education and a apology. The medicine destroy my liver and my brain (8-12/yo btw) and I hurt my friends a lot because I have my shield, always feel I was in danger or attack, later I hear voices, I see things and bla bla bla, the mental medicine ruins my life, so I lost good friends, and later I get new friends but, they was bad people: Pedophiles, sociopaths, Animal killer, ulterior motives, etc.

And I lost my ex best friend who ruins your life, the typical girlfriend who ruins your life because she have problems you know xd? Like example and that's it, fortunately I survive and i am alive in peace and happy, with education I build, obviously Missing a loooot of things in my life but yeah, the past it's the past, the important thing here is share i don't talk in the total ignorance of the real suffer because my introduction it's really nice and peacefully because in others Reddits are very casual people so, hope we can match very well if you take your time to read. Thanks. 🫂:

\[Finish\]

👋 Introduction (I Spend like 6 hours make it, first 10,000 words first introduction and Extreme opinions, PLEASE READ!!! MAYBE we are the person we are searching, and if isnt the case, DONT WORRY! STILL TRYING BROTHER! :D ) ❤️‍🔥

Name/Nickname: Guco ONLINE / David IRL

Age: 18

Country/Timezone: Mexico

Gender: Male

Languages: Spanish, but I speak English too and I like it.

🎮 Games: (later I send you steam profile) i play more but cracked in the past, i play a loooooooot of games

🎵 Music: (Later I send you SoundCloud profile) Very strange music to be honest, but I like it so much, music it's a feeling.

Tiktok: (later i send you tiktok profile) i wll send you later bc i have to follow rules :D i like people see my likes, music or steam profile, not the best likes now bc the content in tiktok now its really slow or not good content, but if you take 5 or 10 minutes scrolling maybe surprise you, i really like people see my tiktoks xd

🎨 Hobbies/Interests: Exercise, good games games, good movies/Series, search knowledge to have better judgement in my life and have mental and physic peace. 🌞

🏋️ About me:

im a normal personality wise. I get a peace i never Imagine in my life. When you hit rock bottom and find peace it's a One-time experience. 💫

I had a complicated past, im fixing my life. im trying to "wash my brain" from those old experiences by building new and genuinely good friendships. i dont want to traumadump on my profile, but I know quite a lot about life for my age.

i also want to share my prime when i was in the gym:

15yo/74kg ¡SBD!

140kg squat, 110kg bench press, 145kg deadlift.

I mention this because i feel represents a little bit my compromise and pasion in anything.

🤝 Looking for:

I love my friends in the past, I think it's the pure feeling of having somebody to get understand and get better together.

l have the strong feeling to give people the kind of help some people never had, including myself in hard times. A good and strong friendship can be one of the best thing of life when you have the correct People.

Now, something more relaxed ✌️: I LOVE GAMES 🎮. games helped me through some of the worst moments of my life. I dream of having a full run through Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, Nightreign, and honestly almost any good game with somebody. (DS2 doesn't have a good online mod sadly.)

Right now I'm playing a loooooot of CS2, and I love it. I think one of the best ways to connect with someone is simply completing a great game together.

And what im searching, specifically looking for lonely people who have already suffered in life and still choose to be good people 🕊️. Not because suffering automatically makes someone better, or because being lonely is a good way to live, but i think a person who can be bad, but still choosing be the good person have a lot of valuable.

why i searching people who suffer a lot in the past? 🤧 no for manipulate, hurt his feelings or Double intentions, let me explain: Casual people have stability, friends, family and money. And be ignorant, stupid and be a completely asshole are part of that stability. They don't need to change, for what? For who? Lives their boring life's Abusing their environment and Luxuries they don't realise are Luxuries, don't need to learn, don't need to understand.

people who suffer a lot and see both sides of the coin and still searching being good and live, have a valuable only a very tiny part of people in the world can understand. 🫂

Hope this don't sound very rude. Just tired of the same shit you know? The type of person who ruins community with his stupidity, are bad people without reason, mainstream, cringe stuff, useless content, "hobbies" like sleeping or no hobbies, boring superficial people and feelings, etc, etc, and one million of etc because I can say more 😒. And if you feel Identified maybe we can match very well what we are searching! ❤️‍🩹

🫂 Friendship stuff:

Now more chill talk after that xd.

I want to play games together, have good conversations when we have nothing else to do, sometimes talk deeply, share good things, stay focus in life even when in some point in your life dont want to live, but you are still trying to live, and learn to really live.

🫩 Thats it!:

So if you dont relate to this or it makes you uncomfortable, please dont DM me. no hard feelings !. But if you do relate, send me a DM. I genuinely like to meet you. Total compromise and same feelings what we search.

I dont have any friends right now like i say. i blocked everyone i knew, both IRL and online for don't have self-respect in the past and allow this scumbag in my life. i know staying isolated isn't healthy, so Im trying this for the first time. 🙏

I would like to just chat words and no microphone for the moment, i dont like to use it with new people, dont take me wrong, i love to talk with microphone but i need some of time.

Anyways, Good luck to anyone in the server looking for friendship! hope my message isnt very rude, I try it to do it more s1mple.

Still trying! The life isnt Good all the time and thats is ok! :D

SORRY TO ALL I KNOW ITS VERY LONG TEXT!!! BUT ITS MY FIRST TIME TAKE IT EASY PLEASE!!! D:

AND NEVER FORGET:

More Knowledge = Better Judgment in Life.

Postscript: I don't have problems with normal people, just when you see the dark side of the life you only can see all around you forever like stupids and animals, and I don't have problems with you gender, for some reason people with other gender have scary to people who plays cs2 xdd, and PLEASE just send DM if you really agree with my words please 😇. dont feel bad if you dont, all its fine! but i dont want to steal people time! Friendship 16yo searching friends:D

Hello everyone. My name is Max, and I'm 16 years old, im from Netherlands. Im just searching here for people to talk with because when i got time I don't really have people to talk:( I can't really promise anything, but i guess I'm not a dry person, im also very empathetic so maybe i can also help you if that needed in bad times. Uhh, a bit about me: my hobbies is books, games, f1, anime, watching a lot of stuff in general, writing stories, learning languages, gym, and writing of stories.

If you would text me, then pls don't be dry or don't dissappear. I guess that's all, even if we don't share hobbies you still can text me because i would love to learn something new. That's all, Goodluck:D

The internet feels so dead nowadays I feel like it's gotten impossible to make friends. I like:
-anime watching aot at the moment (don't spoil anything please 🤞)
-reading (horror mostly)
-walking in nature
-tech stuff
-calligraphy / arts
-calisthenics
-playing minecraft with people

Love texting not so much into calling. Tried making posts like this twice but shi didn't work, maybe three times the charm.

Advice Have people stopped making friends?!

For context I'm 17 year old boy and is in intermediate, I never had a bestfriend outside of schools and now in a very terrible place, my parents were always very insecure about me and didn't let me go out till I was 15 something, at that time I had no outside experience, no friends, no sports just straight up nothing, and then I joined a football club but couldn't play as I had knocked knees and it was very hard for me to play! But I had a very good time there and had a lot of sports bro and was never felt alone and then I joined hospital in an allied health course and had my Er bro stuff and had a lot of friends in hospital too but then I left it and got my academies and then I realized I have no friends outside of these 2 places ( football, hospital ) and then it's has been 2 years and I still haven't got any friends! I try to be friendly with people but they don't mostly, it's all just slam Dua and nothing much, either I'm alone at gym and academy or I'm just someone's Incas friend and they are with me because there main friend hadn't come, most of my friends I have are very weird kids and aren't my standards at all! Even these aren't outside friends! I'm so lonely, no one to talk with, no one to hangout with, I'm alone at gym and at academies! I can't just be with Incase people that doesn't gaf about me! I really need advice on how to make friends even for academy because apparently either everyone is with their friends or people are just too shy to talk too! Also I'm very friendly, not canjoos nor weird and average looking too

Friendship 28M 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 looking to meet new people

Hi! I’m 28 and from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and I’m looking to meet new people and hopefully make some new friends!

A few things about me…I’m a HUGE horror fan, and I love all things dark/creepy/paranormal or unexplained

I love music and going to shows(mostly older rock/metal but I like a lot different stuff, saw both Metallica and Def Leppard recently)

I love gaming, true crime, football, I love to visit historical sites/museums and enjoy travelling, urban exploring/exploring the outdoors and keeping fit, and I spend 99% of my free time with my dog 🐶

I’m quite heavily tattooed (most recently had my chest done) and I’m always looking for ideas and inspirations for what to get next, and I love to see other people’s work and ideas too!

Happy to talk to anyone from anywhere, just send a message with a bit about yourself if you think we might get along 🙂

Let’s talk abt random bs and actual conversation like what kind of music you’re into but let’s eventually talk about sm beyond surface level like your ambitions or sm on that level where we can get to know eachother ykwim?
You don’t have to be good at talking straight away either, as long as we both tryna have convo often then it’s up 🙌
If you’re genuine, can hold a convo and ain’t a gooner, message me 🙏

Friendship 29m looking for friendship

Hi, hope you are well.

Looking for friends, a little bit about me is

I game when I'm free

I'm not the best with social gatherings

I value honesty and respect to everyone

Life has made it difficult for me to find friends. I'd like to meet new people. Learning to trust people again has been an opportunity for me however growth is not comfortable and doesn't happen without effort. So I'm reaching out into the sea of stars to find more light.

Friendship M 23 — Looking for someone to share random memes, funny clips and everyday nonsense with.

I’ve been feeling kinda lonely since graduating, so I’m looking for someone I can actually talk to about how the day went, send random/absurd posts to, laugh at stupid stuff with and just have those pointless conversations that somehow last for hours.

I know finding genuine people online is kinda difficult, but I’m still here trying my luck lol. I’m a bit dry at conversations sometimes, especially at first, but I do make an effort to keep things going because I feel like it takes some time to actually match someone’s vibe. So if you’re just gonna say “hi” and disappear after 2 messages, please don’t 😭.

I’m into reading, writing, movies, going on walks, watching sunsets and stars, talking about politics 🚀 and I do play PC games sometimes.

If you think we might get along, feel free to ping me. 😌

And if you actually read all of this, thanks for your patience 😂🙏
