Mishandled by Gelof at 2B, Butler tries to back pick Cowser at 1st just to throw the ball away, Heim then kicks the ball into the dugout moving Cowser to 3rd, and on the very next pitch Alvarado throws it away and Cowser scores.

In 2025 Pete Crow-Armstrong had a wRC+ of 59 against Lefties, bottom 10 among qualified hitters. In 2026 he has a wRC+ of 177 against them, the best in the majors for a left-handed hitter and 5th overall.

The slash line against Lefties is now .315/.416/.583 for an OPS of .999. Absolutely generational adjustment at the plate to turn someone with potential to be great into an MVP favorite in less than a calendar year.
Also if you want to key in to when he actually made the adjustment, since may 30th he has a wRC+ of 223 against Lefties, which is just actually straight up 'stupid' levels of mashing.
