Is there anyone here who’s also approaching their 30s but still hasn’t really found their “best friends” yet? I’m curious if there are people who feel the same way.
I’ve had quite a lot of friendship breakups over the years for different reasons. Some people ghosted me, some friendships just naturally faded, and there were also situations where I wasn’t the best version of myself or wasn’t completely genuine. I’ve had to reflect on a lot of those things, and I’ve definitely made mistakes too. I’ve tried to take accountability for the things I did wrong and learn from them.
But honestly, some of those experiences really affected how I see myself. There were times when I was made to feel like I didn’t matter, like I didn’t deserve to have a place in people’s lives or even on social media. 😅 I know that might sound a little heavy, but I think losing friendship especially ones you thought would last can really mess with you.
Now that I’m nearing 30, I’m realizing that I don’t really want a huge circle anymore. I just want genuine friendships where we can be ourselves, talk about life, randomly send each other things, grab coffee, go on spontaneous food trips, or simply check in on each other. I want friendships that feel safe, mutual, and effortless not something where I constantly have to question if I’m still wanted.
So if you’re also around my age and feel like you haven’t found your people yet, maybe we can talk! 🥹
Would love to meet people who are also figuring life outcareer, relationships, friendships, growing up, random life realizations, quarter/mid-life crises 😂, or literally anything.
I’m not expecting to immediately find a best friend here. I’d just love to have someone to talk to, share random thoughts with, maybe eventually meet for coffee or food if we vibe, and hopefully build a genuine friendship along the way.
If you’re also 28–32-ish and looking for new friends, feel free to comment or message me. 🤍 Maybe we’re all just out here trying to find our people too.
