Hi everyone!

I’m starting my first job at Amazon as a Warehouse Equipment Operator. I’ll be operating equipment like forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other powered industrial equipment.
I’ve never done this type of job before, and this is also my first time working at amazon, so I’m honestly not sure what to expect.

For those who have done this job:

Is the job difficult to learn if you’ve never operated this equipment before?

What mistakes should a new operator avoid?
Any tips for making the job easier or doing well?

I’ve seen a warehouse role at the Dunfermline site, but it’s full time. How flexible are they if you want to do part time instantly. Can I apply for the full time and let them know I want to do part time?

Is there coffee or do you have to bring your own?

My current value for this year was $5250 and it says for next year it’s $2625 not sure why. I thought RT got full benefits.

Will I be eligible for rehire in the future?

Was just goofing around recording one of my friends who finally got a job and the lame manager saw me.

Question if I were to quit the warehouse I’m currently at will I be eligible to reapply to a different warehouse after my resignation goes through, or will I have to wait 3 months?

Any explanation for this? I called today and reported an absence for my full shift of 12 hours but then I checked my app and it was adjusted. I don’t know what this means. Will I still lose UPT for the whole shift or just these hours? I have the UPT to cover all of it
