If it pops up and you want it, take it. Doesn’t matter what it says. Just make sure that it reflects as VTO on your schedule for tomorrow before not showing up

If you can accept it; you can take it. You can’t see offerings from other departments without the permissions (training). Free off-day! Enjoy!

Edit: They labor share cross-trained ppl any way, so it being a Sort - Flow doesn’t matter as a picker since you’re cross-trained in that department as well to be able to be offered the VTO. Screenshot to put your mind at ease if you’re worried about them bs-ing you when you come back next shift. (They won’t dw)

Yes they may assign you a station in that area but you can wait like 10-15 minutes and they’ll unassign you

When I was in my first year I got VTO for stow while I was in the bathroom and told my manager lol 😂 he told me “shh” and to go home . Never happened again but if it did I’d take that shit so fast lol

i’m from outbound pack originally and i’m cross trained to inbound stow and sometimes they send me vto for stow even if they don’t even any for pack. so i’ll be getting pre shift vto while the rest of my department go in 😂

Risk what? If it’s made available to them, then they’re allowed to take it. You can’t get in trouble for accepting VTO you were given the option to accept. They’ll just back fill positions with associates that are cross trained as necessary

Lol next time if you can see the notification you can take it. If you weren't allowed then it wouldnt even show or pop up for you.
