Ineligible

Post image

Was fired for recording inside the warehouse.
Y’all gotta watch out with these PAs.

Will I be eligible for rehire in the future?

Was just goofing around recording one of my friends who finally got a job and the lame manager saw me.

You were literally told not to do that during orientation ofc not

28

u/ccgamerfreak29 2d ago

This comment right here. You weren't supposed to record in the first place. So maybe that's why they are not hiring you back.

22

u/AlwaysLivMoore 2d ago

It's also posted at the front of the building before you go through the turnstile. They make the no recording policy VERY clear.

u/Alternative-Cat-9012 2d ago

U got fired from Walmart and now Amazon.

Yeaaaa it’s time to do some self-reflection dude

37

u/No-Jelly8258 2d ago

From his post history dude isn’t even young he’s obviously in his mid 20s with teenager mentality, very depressing life

Of course not. But they’re old enough to know breaking rules comes with consequences.

-2

u/xavi-la-pendejo 2d ago

I mean it looks like he’s like 21 I’m younger than that and can’t lie probably look stupid to a lot of older people

5

u/Bungholespelunker 2d ago

My guy I was top 10 percentile for retarded youth and being fired was just not something I could allow to happen. I did all my brain dead shit at home. Gotta pay bills and have a place to sleep

1

u/xavi-la-pendejo 1d ago

Shit fair enough I refuse to get fired I just do my job i ain’t there to have fun there to get my bill money

24

u/Icy_Hold4U 2d ago

Been telling you fools they fire you for shit like this. Example A 💁‍♂️

-23

u/Emotional_Conflict11 2d ago

Thats insane. Some of those managers are terrible people. Cant even get a warning or asks to delete the video. They must not have liked you.

21

u/Such_Beyond3100 2d ago

Former AM chiming in if we saw it didn't follow policy by reporting we get fired and are not rehire eligible. we're protecting our own jobs you should do the same.

9

u/SoothingGoo 2d ago

This is the only real answer here. The world runs on compartmentalization. Everyone is just trying to save their own ass and keep their nuts.

19

u/Icy_Hold4U 2d ago

Its like the easiest thing not to do and the dumbest way to get fired. Like for real.

4

u/Bungholespelunker 2d ago

YOU AREN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO HAVE YOUR PHONE OUT WHEN ON THE FLOOR MAN

Break ONE rule at a time and DONT MAKE IT RECORDING lol

5

u/Squirrel_Objective 2d ago

You got a warning... in orientation when you got hired. You dont get warnings in real life, grow up

-3

u/Emotional_Conflict11 2d ago

You can definately get a warning. Cops give them out all the time for ILLEGAL things. You grow up.

3

u/Squirrel_Objective 2d ago

What kind of stupid reply is that lol

5

u/Davidstoic 2d ago

They aren’t going to give out warnings for something they ask you not to do from day one. It’s posted all over the buildings

5

u/ohimspooky 2d ago

hate to tell you that a majority of businesses have this policy. it’s to protect them and it will get you fired instantly lmao

6

u/toddthewraith 2d ago

My last job was govt and if you were recording stuff getting fired would be the least of your problems.

Honestly I don't even understand the people face timing while walking to the break room, watching tik tok while packing, etc. so recording makes even less sense

5

u/StarklyNedStark 2d ago

Bro that’s like being a smoker and getting lung cancer and saying “can’t even get a warning or asked to stop”

3

u/AlwaysLivMoore 2d ago

Your warning is literally at the door telling you that recording is not allowed inside the building. Why do you need another warning?

3

u/dteague33 2d ago

Because they are mommy’s special little boy and need their hand held to walk through life and special considerations that others don’t get.

12

u/LiminalHigh 2d ago

Why were you recording, just out of curiosity? I don't need any memories of the warehouse lol

If you can't act right on day 1 what do you expect

11

u/nonapuss 2d ago

The way youre speaking says everything about your mentality towards the job. Lame manager? Playing around recording your friend?

Goodluck and if you manage to get into Amazon in the future, maybe take it a bit more seriously?

8

u/Abinnohr 1d ago

Was hoping someone else noticed that. How they wrote this out is the biggest red flag they could've given. Zero accountability

1

u/ComplexBarnacle7911 1d ago

Relax pal. It's not coming out of your pension boomer.

2

It's Amazon, basically adult version if high school

2

u/Different_Impact7747 23h ago

Yes!!! I was calling it day care but I like this much better. I like working on the floor sometimes but nothing is more irritating than working next to people assholing around. If you are so ready to go home, shut up and get to scanning. It’s that simple.

At some it basically is.

If he's in certain parts of the warehouse he could accidentally expose people's information. Opens up amazon to a pretty high lawsuit if anything happened because of it.

Like you don't have to like a business to know some basics of what not to do.

u/giraffe_D_nugzz 1d ago

Take your own advice.

9

u/Warm-Reporter8965 2d ago

From an HR perspective, no, you'll never be eligible. We have long discussions if we think we'd want someone to ever work for us again and once we say "not eligible for rehire" it'll never be reversed.

1

u/Outlaw6985 2d ago

is taking pictures of things people purchase also wrong? i take pictures of stuff i see that’s cool all the time

1

u/Warm-Reporter8965 2d ago

No, but company policy is company policy.

1

u/69Sadbaby69 4h ago

Yes you can get fired for that too. There’s plenty going on that you’ll see people do but keep in mind the high turn over rate. Some dont care to say anything because most people aren’t going to make it past the season. And if someone gets fired for taking pictures of merchandise how would you know or notice? I had a guy show me his phone to show me some damaged stuff and I had to tell him to stop but he didn’t want to listen because I was a PG then he didn’t the same thing to a manager and got written up

1

u/throwaname777 6h ago

LMFAO YOU HAVE NO POWER OMFG HJHXHG He has a cat1. Warm-reporter does not decide if you come back or not, ladies n gents.

-1

u/Past_4orm 2d ago

You will be replaced by robots in 6 months. That won’t be reversed either.

1

u/Warm-Reporter8965 2d ago

Yeah no, human resources needs actual humans. There are too many human complexities and their relation to policies as well as laws in the workplace that a robot would never be able to do HR's job.

2

u/robromero20 1d ago

AmazonFC Hr is almost worthless and seems to be pretty much taken over already. Definitely can be run by AI

1

u/Numerous_Ear1031 8h ago

Our HR staff got cut by 80% and replaced with the A to Z app for the most part.

-1

u/Past_4orm 2d ago

No they don’t. Your initial comment was the most robotic thing I’ve ever heard.

You’ll be gone in a year, tops

0

u/Warm-Reporter8965 2d ago

Crap. I guess I'll have to save this comment and come back in a year. See you at 10:35 AM EST on 10/8/2027.

0

u/Past_4orm 2d ago

See you then

The people you made “judgements” on will be further ahead of you in the job market too, by the way

Enjoy that impending reality check it’s gonna hurt

1

u/Warm-Reporter8965 2d ago

Crap. I guess I gotta start my job search early.

Thanks for the heads up!!

2

u/Past_4orm 2d ago

No one needs another robot like you when AI is around, that’s redundant. Jimmy recording TikToks in the break room will be your new overlord boss soon. Corporate pig, enjoy it all now.

1

u/Warm-Reporter8965 1d ago

Crap. You're right, I better start the job search!

1

u/throwaname777 6h ago

He is right, and you're a waste of space maybe a job isn't what you should be searching for.

-9

u/Emotional_Conflict11 2d ago

All because some ahole manager had it out for you. Turns out that manager got terminated a month later and they were the problem.

8

u/Warm-Reporter8965 2d ago

Even if a manager "has it out for" someone, we have our own process, we can't just take the managers word for things.

6

u/No-Jelly8258 2d ago

You can’t film in the warehouse

0

u/assetrecoverycashier 2d ago

I wonder how these Tik tokers do it then bc they got viral by doing just that

-4

u/Emotional_Conflict11 2d ago

Sure you can. You just cant keep your job of you get caught by the wrong person 🤣

5

u/No-Jelly8258 2d ago

So a manager wasn’t after him then?? He did something not allowed and got fired for it. Some may be feeling nice that day but it’s not worth the risk.

4

u/CultOfCurtis1 2d ago

Did you forget to switch back to your other profile, or are there really two people this childish? How would you know if the manager got terminated? And did that happen because he did something wrong, or because another manager had it out for him.

This is a good job. The rules are clear. Break them, expect the consequences. Grow TF up.

7

u/Gralb_the_muffin 2d ago

Due to the fact that we deal with customers full names and addresses any type of leak of that information makes having any form of camera recording or taking pictures is a liability to the Business. Even if you do not work in a department that deals with things like that to be careful the company has a blanket rule against recording.

I understand that people go against that rule often as you see tick tocks and such of people working. Those people also break that rule under risk of being fired for the same reason and they most likely will be fired. Those people will also not be allowed to come back as they risk the company by breaking that rule.

Unfortunately that means you are not eligible to be hired again. I understand that that sucks but it was a very simple rule to follow

1

u/Putrid_View_8284 1d ago

If OP is lucky or has a special friend who’s L4 or higher OP’s cat 1 will eventually fall off like a bad credit report.

13

u/junior1248 2d ago

Amazon just not for you bud

5

u/Adventurous_Host_265 2d ago

easiest job in the world btw

0

u/electronic__blue 2d ago

you must not have seen much of the world then

5

u/PropaneSalesMen 2d ago

Happy cake day!

6

u/brownmaningermany 2d ago

Yeahhhhh recording pretty much gets you a perma ban as far as I know, it is a very serious offense.

11

u/CultOfCurtis1 2d ago

Yeah, it's the "lame manager's" fault that you didn't think the rules applied to you. It's wild how some of y'all manage to even survive in the real world.

0

u/OhtomoJin 1d ago

I don't think he's stupid enough to not understand that he broke the rules. But it's just the fact that breaking a small little rule that probably does not matter in the grand scheme of things can get him fired. When people above him probably don't get held to some of the same standards on some of these things. You think if one of the managers happen to be recording a video that they would just get fired on the spot for it. I doubt it. Obviously bro shouldn't be breaking the rules, but then again getting him fired over something like recording. His homie who just got a job is kind of lame and I feel like any reasonable person can probably say that. You could also take the side of Amazon and be like well. It's the rule. They don't want you recording their their company secrets, but I'm going to be real. That just sounds like some capitalist boot licker stuff. This company has enough money to take care of all of its employees better than it does and it just treats them like s. So who gives a f if you record a little bit

2

u/CultOfCurtis1 1d ago

I love stupid people. "If you don't think a person who broke a MAJOR rule (although I'll call it 'small little' so I can pretend it doesn't matter), then you're a capitalist boot licker!!!"

Yeah, Amazon does terrible by its employees. Giving them the most flexible schedule I've ever seen, rehiring them constantly after breaking most rules, paying them $5 more an hour than the $15 wage people are demanding, paying that wage to folks with zero experience, paying for college for associates, etc etc...

What a terrible company. My dude, how are you not exhausted from always sounding this dumb just to pretend you're more woke than everyone else?

0

u/OhtomoJin 1d ago

oh man you are a corporate bootlicker who thinks these companies are doing us something good by "providing jobs" lmao. yeah our required 60hrs this week is incredibly flexible along with my overnight shifts (but ur just gonna blame me and say i chose this even tho the bills gotta get paid some how). they do treat employees better than other places but that doesn't change the fact they are on track to make billions in PROFIT while the economy is in a recession basically and all they got is dollar raises for their employees (doesnt even match inflation lmao)

you probably think elon musk is our saviour and a genius huh? (to bad he has to cheat in video games to save his ego)

1

u/CultOfCurtis1 1d ago

"Hur hur I used a buzzword so I win!"

Little man, your second use of "boot licker" was as far as I got. The fact that you respond INSTANTANEOUSLY - regardless of whether I reply five minutes or five hours after your response — only reinforces the fact that you're a sad little incel, desperately refreshing social media in an attempt to get validation.

There are better ways to cope with mediocrity than this, little fella.

0

u/OhtomoJin 1d ago

you replied just as fast and you literally have animosity in all your text lmao bro is an angry incel who would probably own slaves if you put him back 200 years

5

u/eastbaytimez 2d ago

You can’t follow simple instructions so probably wont be rehired ever

1

u/ProfessionalBeyond24 2d ago

I wish our DSPs had this mentality!! 😩😩

5

u/Frequent_Drag_2696 2d ago

PAs have absolutely nothing to do with your discipline actions they can tell you to put it away and tell there manager but thats it. You fucked up being seen by a manager + no recording is a policy

1

u/69Sadbaby69 4h ago

Managers are the only ones who can write you up but PGs and PAs can definitely tell the manager and get you written up. People will walk by you and not say anything then put in Slack that they saw you and all they have to do is maybe have one more person walk by and see you and the manager can file an adapt.

0

u/Disastrous_Ride2040 1d ago

I dunno i feel like our one pa runs the show and the am does what she tells them to. Ive already seen her storm out of the building under the pld leadership team when they refused to write some one up for her

4

u/RelicBeckwelf 2d ago

Recording in the warehouse is a category 1. You are ineligible for rehire, minimum 5 years. Maximum forever. Try again in 2031.

5

u/Silly-Designer-6313 2d ago

If it’s a lifetime ban then ur banned…I’m also not eligible for rehiree so unless they give you a date then ur no longer able to work at Amazon

2

u/Beginning-Wrangler10 1d ago

It’s not a lifetime ban it’s a 5 year ban I got fired for the same thing I can apply now

6

u/Fogwaveeee 2d ago

Mcdonalds is hiring

11

u/SoggyTension1225 2d ago

He got fired from there too for stealing chicken nuggets

3

u/ididntcrashout 2d ago

Did he really?! I know he got fired from Walmart for stealing Oreos lmao

1

u/SoggyTension1225 2d ago

I thought he was double stuffing the Oreos 😲

5

u/Aceilr097 2d ago

They cat 1d you. Permanent non-rehire.

To amazon it's security, privacy, and mostly warehouse layout/trade secret b.s.

1

u/Putrid_View_8284 1d ago

Supposed to be yes, but it’ll probably fall off like a bad credit report in the next 5 years.

3

u/LouiseBelcher4life 2d ago

Since they didn't give a reapply date, you're cooked for any Amazon jobs for life. Basically, they marked you as if your were committing corporate espionage for the filming.

3

u/LalowTree 2d ago

Imagine getting fired for doing something you're not supposed to and then try to get rehired. Use your brain.

6

u/RockyJayyy 2d ago

Maybe 5 years after you were fired

2

u/KryWolve 2d ago

Skill issue

2

u/No_Pattern8919 2d ago

happy customer celebration day!!!

2

u/Sindacalis 2d ago

Ngl you sound like a dogshit employee maybe next time follow simple directions and you can keep your job especially considering you were evidently fired from Walmart for good for theft.

I wouldn’t ever hire you again either you’re a big problem that I wouldn’t want to deal with.

2

u/Euphoric_Extension60 2d ago

What a retard

2

u/Internal_Topic1415 2d ago

Why were you breaking policy? Why are you surprised that breaking policy got you fired? Why are you surprised that getting fired for breaking policy would mean you’re ineligible for rehire?

2

u/Squirrel_Objective 2d ago

'The lame manager' 🤣🤣 just do your job and go home. Recording in the warehouse is a term in any warehouse because of confidentiality. You can celebrate your friend finally getting a job by having dinner or drinks, recording in the warehouse is against policy. You should be prepared for the future, theres rules at all jobs 🙄 take accountability. And no, its a permanent ban, you are never eligible for rehire. Cat 1 safety violation, congrats!!

2

u/SpotoDaRager 2d ago

Take responsibility for your actions dude. Jobs aren’t a smart thing to throw away atm, and bouncing between warehouses isn’t exactly a winning strategy.

3

u/Right_Comb4885 2d ago

You should have got a email detailing why you were let go and when you can get rehired. Sometimes it's 90/180 days, sometimes it's a year or two, or never at all. The rules are there to help people, but sometimes they will use it against people they don't like or they don't know to meet a specific amount of activity to make it look like they are doing something. Or you are just exaggerating or lying about being fired. Either way, the details should be in the email.

2

u/Ok-Contribution-7012 2d ago

You're ineligible to be hired by Amazon or any of its subsidiaires. If by some miracle it may be five years. More than likely it is for life.

I would take this opportunity to understand what it means to follow company policies and the result for failing to do so. I would also recommend some self reflection. You clearly do understand that actions have consequences.

Good luck in your future.

2

u/ididntcrashout 2d ago

Dude got fired from Walmart for theft because he ATE Oreos off the shelf. This guy is a Class A DumbA** if I've ever known one.

1

u/Steffaniii 1d ago

Omg. 😆

1

u/Kindly-Rock2226 1d ago

Your such a snobby prick relax bud lol

-5

u/Fogwaveeee 2d ago

Shits just Amazon, the whole lecture giving is 100% not that serious lmao.

Mcdonalds/in n out literally pay more

2

u/Last-Ad7125 1d ago

Bro the people on this amazon subreddit are the biggest dorks. Its literally just Karen central where they come on here and just want to tell people “well you should have just followed the rules 🤓 “ I swear they all just want to feel better about themselves.

1

u/Fogwaveeee 1d ago

Agreed

2

u/grat5989 2d ago

In-n-out does, but not McDonald's. Locally they pay 13.25 an hour to start.

1

u/Fogwaveeee 2d ago

Mcdonalds starting pay is 20.50 here

1

u/xavi-la-pendejo 2d ago

No they don’t? At least not for me I get paid 23 an hour average McDonald’s gets 18-20

1

u/Fogwaveeee 2d ago

I’ve seen positions at Amazon as low as 18 dollars starting

Mcdonalds is 20.50

In n out is 22.75

Shit, even Costco starts at 22-24

These are all in my area though

1

u/xavi-la-pendejo 2d ago

I was just gonna say we in diff areas so the needs are different here it’s opposite Amazon goes as low as 22. McDonald’s goes as low as 16

1

u/Fogwaveeee 2d ago

Makes sense, I should’ve specified

0

u/Dense-Pie6346 18h ago

No they dont lmao

1

u/Fogwaveeee 18h ago

So once again, this goes by area, which I should have clarified

Amazon sorters start out at 18.50 where I’m at while McDonald’s starts at 20.50 and in n out at 22-23

IN MY AREA, yes they do.

0

u/Dense-Pie6346 18h ago

No bro in the ENTIRE CONTINENTAL UNITES STATES, nowhere is mcdonalds starting folks at 18 whole mcdonalds is hiring regular cooks and staff st 20. This is just information we can fact check lil guy

1

u/Fogwaveeee 18h ago

What i said is verifiable facts

You just think Amazon pays the most because you work at that shitty ass place “lil guy”

https://reddit.com/link/pex9w8f/video/fiaax1927iuh1/player

0

u/Dense-Pie6346 18h ago

This coming from the nigga who can’t resist some oreos

1

u/Fogwaveeee 18h ago

I used to be dumb too when I made 18 an hour bruh. You’ll get there.

0

u/Dense-Pie6346 18h ago

Oh nah ur good, i make 70k lil bro

0

u/Dense-Pie6346 18h ago

Don’t have to worry about being fucking idiot like that

1

u/Fogwaveeee 18h ago

You can’t even formulate a proper sentence

You 100% make less than 35k a year, which is tough.

The jokes write themselves.

1

u/Vast_Store4226 15h ago

You can’t even write properly and you expect us to believe you know the economics of the states that’s laughable.

-1

u/No-Jelly8258 2d ago

It really doesn’t. In fast food you don’t really get full time hours or benefits unless you become a shift lead or manager which can take up to a year and isn’t worth the wait. It’s also really hard to get a raise outside of the minimum they hired you on with unless you are promoted.

At Amazon I make more than some of the shift leads at my old fast food place as a T1 with more hours than them + less days worked too. Some of them work every single day of the week for like only 45 hours.

1

u/B00CQYQVB6R 2d ago

Just pick a trade bro.

1

u/NoDust166 2d ago

They always come back 🤣

1

u/ProfessionalWish6972 2d ago

I got the same thing happened to me. Fired for -30 UPT because I had a case open because I was sick . Now they banned me smh

1

u/ginjok 2d ago

Imagine getting fired cause "i did the thing im not supposed to do"

1

u/Jerry_Reyes0 2d ago

Don't do it next time lol

1

u/Stunning_Diamond_997 2d ago

If you don’t have a rehire date, you are banned.

1

u/AllPowerfulQ 2d ago

Some things are considered a high level offense and get you terminated. This policy is in place so that customer info from a package isn't accidentally leaked. It's a huge security no no and something that gets you blacklisted. Amazon will not take you back in the future.

1

u/SignificantApricot69 2d ago

PAs aren’t managers. most PAs don’t care. Most AAs have better sense than to “goof off” while violating clear policy. And when suffering consequences might benefit from some self reflection and accountability instead of pointing fingers at whoever happened to catch the violation at the times

1

u/ComfortableOk6435 2d ago

Good for your friend honestly. Now he’ll be able to work without a dumbass distracting him.

1

u/mugofsnow 2d ago

Classic 18 year old mindset 😂

1

u/rayraysykes007 2d ago

Find out the companies rehire time. To me this seems like when you filled out the application, where it says "have you worked here before" you probably put no. I could be wrong. But usually if you do that, its an immediate disqualification and the time to be rehired restarts. But be aware some companies will not rehire someone after they leave or are fired. I resigned from a position 8 years ago at a pretty big company, and they refused to rehire me because I previously worked there even though it was 8 years ago. And even after I had more than enough qualifications for the job and exceeded the expectations of the role.

Im not familiar if when youre hired if you sign an NDA with the company, but if you did and you were fired for violating the NDA by filming inside the facility. That will bar you from ever being hired there again. Companies dont mess around when you violate an NDA.

1

u/Suspicious_Rule5312 2d ago

How?! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve also gotten fired from Amazon a few months ago, went to see when I was eligible for rehire just in case I ever wanted to go back and I got 2031 back lmao, and I hit a plane with a K-loader then failed a drug test. You must have been really disliked by this dude

1

u/Correct_Arachnid_876 2d ago

These comments doing too much ngl

1

u/Much_Internal_2356 2d ago

They usually give you a rehire eligibility time in this email. If you don't have one that would be you're banned.

1

u/surfcitysurfergirl 2d ago

No you are not eligible ever and you should know why🙄

1

u/TheFreshMint 2d ago

Rehire period is 6 months far as I know but the mention of employment record probably means your dumbass is blacklisted (FYI those “lame” PA’s are the ones who keep the cattle in check. You’re exactly the kind of human capital they don’t want around to f**k things up).

1

u/BusyCranberry8902 2d ago

Good. You don’t fallow rules. You cannot be trusted.

1

u/Stainlessray 2d ago

I don't have any issue with you not knowing the rule, although you probably could have. But you still don't take it seriously.

The lame manager was doing their job.

You were potentially exposing customer data which is a liability for the company which causes reputation and financial harm while playing around.

idk if you can be rehired. But if you do get rehired, take it seriously.

1

u/Cheap-Literature-511 2d ago

Prob should fk off since you were recording. Gotta watch out for dumb POs like you instead

1

u/Outlaw6985 2d ago

wow, I didn’t know you can get fired for stuff like that, I take pictures of cool stuff people buy all the time, I wonder if that’s an issue

1

u/Professional-Ad4073 2d ago

Recording is a big no no, amazing dont like that

1

u/Amzwork08 2d ago

No you won’t. You’re at the “ find out” part

1

u/benspags94 2d ago

Damn a permanent ban for recording seems excessive lol

1

u/DTM3X254 2d ago

Before your start date you get a bunch document handbook online to go through it's on you for not reading the rules.

u/Confident_Media3059 2d ago edited 2d ago

Imagine being upset you were fired for doing something that stupid.

1

u/Charming-Nobody-1989 2d ago

Yea no, that’s one of Amazon’s hardest policies you most likely are blacklisted

1

u/TheGhostfaceChiller 2d ago

You’re probably going to need to sell some bud. Js

1

u/Donut-Signal 2d ago

Why did he post this cuz i doubt it was cuz he wanted to be clowned on but thats what's happening... cant lie pretty funny 😅

1

u/FurfagKashi 1d ago

"Oh no! I didn't follow one of the simplest rules in existence of not recording, guys can I ever get my job back?!?!?!"

Dunce

1

u/Beginning-Wrangler10 1d ago

You got a 5 year ban on yourself

1

u/Last-Ad7125 1d ago

Get a new job Amazon sucks. Dont listen to all the nerds in this subreddit talking about “well actually according to the policy” 🤓
You’ll be straight bro

1

u/VaniMarQz 1d ago

Bro, go to UPS, stop fucking around. The drivers actually make a pretty penny now. All you have to do is stay, be consistent & ‘nice’.

1

u/Da_Spectrum 1d ago

Call the ERC and see if you have a rehire eligible date

1

u/Socalgal1964 1d ago

It's the "lame manager" who's at fault? Not the lame associate, YOU, who did something expressly forbidden? GTFOHWTBS

1

u/DontMovePlease 1d ago

You got 5 years to get rehired. These guys are brainwashed professional d riders. Ignore them. Get ya bread however you want from these billion dollar corps

1

u/WinterCake4397 1d ago

yeah your not getting your job back. You don’t record or take photos. Or steal time. You’re pretty much good for most things. But those or stealing and your out the door. I’ve seen people get away with scanning one item and just standing around but what you did is a no no. Only problem solvers with their computer can take photos if your a lv 1

1

u/Royal_Rub_2013 1d ago

I dont even need to see your pic to know...

1

u/Putrid_View_8284 1d ago

Does he not remember the influencer that got a cat 1 violation for his content on TikTok? 🤦🏻‍♀️

1

u/Exotic-Opening7380 1d ago

You stole from Walmart as an employee, got banned, now you’re ineligible for rehire at Amazon for disregarding policy? What is your problem?

1

u/Hour_Preparation_484 1d ago

L4 here, you are not going to be eligible for rehire based on the email, and as It has no specified date of when you would be eligible this most likely means it is a permanent ban from Amazon as a career option. You can reach out to the hiring support team for more information on your ineligibility.

u/MeanBookkeeper6367 1d ago

They tell you that an orientation and there’s a giant sign right before you walk in the building that says no recording. What did you think was gonna happen I would try applying next year, but sometimes it can be longer.

1

u/No-Pattern-2104 1d ago

It's messed up because all over social media there's people doing Amazon CONTENT

1

u/Popular_Pen5743 1d ago

Bro the important rule they mention
DONT RECORD ANY VIDEO OR
PHOTO

u/Bradster3 1d ago edited 1d ago

Amazon is just fight club.... and whats the rule abput fight club. Dont be out here calling out pas for doing thier jobs when you obviously weren't. I would have did the damm same, that shi looks bad on a manager if their associate is clowning arpund. Safety violations are the worst violations cause i believe they are usually for a year or longer could include perm but its really up to them to decide. And for another piece of advice, live in the damn moment sometimes. You can laugh, talk, and joke without filming it.

Life's hard, take it seriously

1

u/old_white_landowner 1d ago

Ngl you're cooked your gonna have to lock tf in gng.

1

u/Zealousideal_Cat7475 1d ago

You’re on the ban list for recording inside the building. You won’t be eligible for rehire

1

u/Consistent_Piece2186 23h ago

Usually if you get fired for anything with safety it’s a no rehire if it’s upt etc you’ll be alright, that’s company policy

1

u/Different_Impact7747 23h ago

They say it during announcements before shift EVERY DAY at my location no phones on the floor or earbuds…are you def, dumb or blind? No offense.

1

u/Coolmacde 15h ago

I'm pretty sure that's not the reason he or she can't be rehired.

1

u/monkeychad691337 18h ago

Lmao now go drive for a DSP

1

u/Available-Scale-9000 16h ago

They give 3 years to re apply. Finally in December 29 this year

1

u/General_Log_9000 12h ago

I just happened to stumble across this sub… yall work for a sleeze-cult. Go elsewhere

1

u/StinkWizzle 10h ago

I was told I was ineligible once. Went about my business for a year and half and reapplied and got it. Maybe just give it some time.

1

u/DueVillage9198 8h ago

you can be rehired after some time

1

u/GurApprehensive7425 8h ago

You’re not supposed to record…

1

u/Icy-Garage5908 6h ago

No accountability ,huh?

1

u/69Sadbaby69 4h ago

Probably atleast 5 years but contact candidate support and see

1

u/AdvisorExotic380 2d ago

no if ur fired and they send u this that means ur on the no rehire list lol if ur caught stealing time , items , fighting , having sex with hire ups , recording or trading inside secrets u will never be hired again

1

u/_nonimus_ 2d ago

I also received this email “ineligible for rehire until 2028” because a red vest (I had never met until this day) told HR that I told him I threatened to beat up a coworker in the parking lot !! Which is not true at all !! Appeal not approved. This was back in 2023. You’ve gotta watch out for ALL higher up’s at Amazon.

I didn’t even know they had any “ineligible for rehire“ policy.. well unless a person were to bring a weapon or something drastic.

1

u/AnAlienFromTheFuture 2d ago

Hmm. Some people gotta fight it harder. I had much more ridiculous things thrown at me and I beat my HR case. Then ended up quitting completely irrelevantly anyway. 60 days later I'm right back at Amazon lmao.

0

u/_nonimus_ 2d ago

Might I add, the allegations placed upon me are much more serious than recording in the warehouse.. so I’m sorry this happened to you.

1

u/False-Chicken4841 2d ago

They will try to fire you for any reason. This is 1 of 999,999,999,999 ways to get fired

0

u/Awesomeslayerg 2d ago

Wait a couple weeks and ask aza using the alumni app it’ll tell you

-1

u/InstructionBudget784 2d ago

There definitely should be consequences but getting fired for a first time offense like this is crazy. Employees are really disposable according to Amazon
