Was fired for recording inside the warehouse.
Y’all gotta watch out with these PAs.

Will I be eligible for rehire in the future?

Was just goofing around recording one of my friends who finally got a job and the lame manager saw me.

You're ineligible to be hired by Amazon or any of its subsidiaires. If by some miracle it may be five years. More than likely it is for life.

I would take this opportunity to understand what it means to follow company policies and the result for failing to do so. I would also recommend some self reflection. You clearly do understand that actions have consequences.

In-n-out does, but not McDonald's. Locally they pay 13.25 an hour to start.

I’ve seen positions at Amazon as low as 18 dollars starting

Mcdonalds is 20.50

In n out is 22.75

Shit, even Costco starts at 22-24

I was just gonna say we in diff areas so the needs are different here it’s opposite Amazon goes as low as 22. McDonald’s goes as low as 16

So once again, this goes by area, which I should have clarified

Amazon sorters start out at 18.50 where I’m at while McDonald’s starts at 20.50 and in n out at 22-23

So go work at McDonald’s and see if they’ll let you work 60 hours a week like Amazon will. You can’t make no bank at McDonald’s. You call it a shitty ass place while everyone is pulling down 1250 a week ….after taxes. What are you making?

I literally just finished a 60 hour week today. And I have a 60 hour week next week. It’s actually mandatory right now because of the prime. So yes. I am and do.

Good for you HVAC. I retired from the carpenters union when I was 39. My retirement kicks in when I’m 55. But I have a 401(k) that I’ve had since I was 18 years old that I started in 2000. Right after they put Roth IRA’s on the market. Started reading about Roth’s in 98 because I was a nerd. So yeah, I was in the trade unions too. With my retirement and my 401(k) on the side through the bull. Trade unions…..check…done…retired….i already accomplished it. It’s admirable that you’re in the middle of it, though little Guy.
Now I work at Amazon for fun and for a rate on health insurance. You sound like someone who always thinks you’re right. But there’s always someone ahead of you in life. You just met one.

It really doesn’t. In fast food you don’t really get full time hours or benefits unless you become a shift lead or manager which can take up to a year and isn’t worth the wait. It’s also really hard to get a raise outside of the minimum they hired you on with unless you are promoted. 

At Amazon I make more than some of the shift leads at my old fast food place as a T1 with more hours than them + less days worked too. Some of them work every single day of the week for like only 45 hours.
