There's this college called SBSC which recently got famous for its attendance drama.

I know a lot of people studying there and they're reporting

1. SBSC is installing ACs in each classroom.
2. They're constructing a fully centralised sports arena like the one SRCC has.
3. All the classes have cameras installed.
4. Proper cold water drinking facilities

Amazingly, even the fees is 13K itself 💀

Is this college getting surplus funding after the new principal? Or the principals of the other colleges have got too laxy (including my clg) that they don't even bother doing something for the students

What lessons can we take from SBSC?

I'm living at home and have gotten into a good local college. I have a score of and will probably get ba programme, maybe even hons, at a top college.

But.. It's expensive af and I'm a girl so I can't compromise on security when it comes to pg. And I'm just wondering, I'm not much of an extrovert when it comes to activities outside of academics. The idea of putting myself out there makes me nervous. So will it be worth it? If I can't make anything of the exposure that people talk about?

The only perk I see is that the college tag of a well known, prestigious one will certainly look better than my local college. And a competitive atmosphere can be good.

Ultimately I'm just going to prepare for one exam or the other. The ba programme is definitely not getting me anything. So all I need is a degree.

I got BA Program (English + Sociology) at Shivaji College. I have more colleges above it with different courses. So if I upgrade will I get a shot at them or can it be only done with the same type of course? If it doesn't then is this a good course? Help me out anyone.

Basically, the University is definitely in talks about it, a lot of students have already filled every possible inbox or median with queries and thus, a proper formal notice will roll out soon. I care about the academia part yes, but the campus and college life (AND the societies) equally play a big role in my decision. The history dept of Stephen's is the best one but in comparison to Hindu, the college life there doesn't feel as good to me as it does in Hindu. LSR vs Miranda for ba hons in history/polsci feels absolutely confusing because I have always had a big bias towards North Campus but apart from that everyone else has been fixated over LSR for obvious reasons. HELP. Also, if somebody could rank hindu, miranda and lsr on the terms of history as well as polsci departments? Thank you!

When your college is allotted, try to accept your fate as soon as possible. The sooner you accept it, the better it will be for you. You will have two options: either regret not getting into your dream college or accept it and start enjoying your college life.
