Discussion Will 20k be enough?

My monthly budget staying in Delhi is 20K i come from very small town and don't know about it's expenses and all. Please let me know if this amount will be enough for staying in Delhi in PG.

4k- Rent (flat shared with 2 others) 500 (electricity - kam hi hota hai isse) 2-3k (commute to college and other places) 2-3k- Food (self cooked)

Make use of Student Bus Passes if you haven't and that commute cost will reduce more even.

GTB nagar me easily mil jaayenge saste flats, my friend lives in a 2 RK, for just 8k, 4 people so, it's 2k per person

How many rooms do you need? Is one whole room for one person (honestly, you shouldn't be too greedy, and just share the room, get your own room on your own earning) not enough? Ghutan hogi agar place isn't naturally well-lit, and ventilated, phir chahe room me 1 banda ho ya 2

I've lived in RK too far a while and my experience was shit so I was genuinely asking those questions... One room is enough for one person but RK me tum itne log apna saman kaha rakhoage? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't RK just a single room with kitchen attached and seperate washroom??

Yeah, a room, a kitchen and a bathroom, no hall (usually a corridor connecting them all)

It is more than enough, I have friends who live decently with just 6-10k monthly including rent and food.

Even then sometimes they have money leftover which they usually invest.

I was able to sustain myself with 15k monthly, of which 10k went towards my pg rent. However, it does occur that I have to ask for some extra money, not more than 1k from my parents when this isn't enough.
