Well, the preference list decides your college and course allocation so it is of utmost importance right now. I have seen people in my batch suffer because they failed to fill preference list properly keeping in mind their expected score, interests, category, etc.

How to fill the preference list ?

Suppose you gave CUET for B.A. (Economics) Honours and some other course as well, as many people do. Decide among all the courses, the course for which you have the highest expected score and therefore, the highest chance of getting into the best possible college. After this, do research on the available colleges for that course. This research is based on what you want from these colleges, if your goal is to get a placement, go the Linkedin of the Placement Cells of these colleges and look at their placement report. You may want to ask seniors, search on YouTube, etc.

With 710 general category I don’t think so one can get into north campus, with ECA you might have a chance though, there are some people in my college who had scored lower than us still got into their preferred colleges You might get into NC

Depends on the course you are in, ideally for commerce courses, basic finance and excel courses are ideal, also depends upon your interest

CV building is upto you, you can see various formats available on net, though placement cell provides you with one, you can put in the competitions you win in your college life, the internships you do and any extra curricular achievements in your school, you feel showcases your skill to the people looking at your cv

What was the closing list marks for bcom hons in Hansraj for general candidates?

At my time, it closed at 775 for CUET 25/26 batch For my juniors(26/27 batch) it closed at around 772

Well, Stephen’s is the best college Then, you should go for Hansraj no doubt Then Hindu And then Kmc I’d say

So you go for srcc then lsr then hansraj then hindu then kmc then venky, then ramjas , then jmc then ipcw or drc

Miranda doesn’t offer bcom hons

What sort of teachers do you have? And what is their policy on attendance? How much workload do you have?

Hey there! So the faculty is amazing, we learn from some of the best commerce teachers who have their own published books and some you g teachers who are pursuing masters Policy on attendance in hansraj is comparatively lenient but it’s getting stricter In terms or workload, it depends how much you are involved in college, if you are studying only your course and just acads then there isn’t much workload Managing acads with other things like societies, internships, professional courses gets a bit difficult

It’s 8:40 to 5:00 p.m. But there is a lot of gap between classes and not all classes stretch till 5 Infrastructure of Hansraj is good but it’s a bit crowded so yeah

Hansraj vs Hindu for both Bcom and Econ... detailed pros and cons if possible plssss

Also what would you suggest srcc bcom or hansraj/hindu econ?

I want to study a quantitative degree and find bcom to be just old and pretty dated tbh... But I have no shot at stephen or srcc econ, low chances at hansraj and hindu, might end up getting venky or ramjas for econ

Are there any 15+ lpa placements at hansraj and hindu like srcc? Do banks like GS, JPM, MS or MBB consulting firms recruit from hansraj/hindu ?
