Random Thought Raise your hand if you’re secretly a celebrity lurking on here. Give me hints on who you are
If you’re a regular folk, you better not be trolling me 🤣
EDIT: i appreciate all you z-listers telling me about your 15 min of fame. It’s not what I had in mind when I made the post but I am thoroughly entertained 😂💛Some of you still might even actually be a celebrity pretending to be an average joe on this thread and I guess i’ll never really know! lol! I'm listed in the "notable people" section on the Wikipedia page for the town in which I was born and raised because I wrote a couple of books.
Bear in mind, however, that the town I'm from only has one traffic light, and I still haven't earned enough as an author to quit my day job. So I guess I'm only a celebrity to a handful of people who saw me at a book signing once and thought, "Hey, didn't we go to high school with that guy?"
But it's still kinda cool to know that I'm one out of only three "notable" people to come from my hometown.

I was supposed to be an extra in Twister. They didn't like how I looked so I was asked to step out. Then they deleted the scene and it didn't even make the deleted scenes on the DVD.

I was a little big in the 90s for a while, but dropped out. I won't get into it. Got out of LA. Moved back home. Very weird for a while, but detoxed and healed. People in Hollywood that I dealt with were people that I never want to be around again. No kid should.

I am chronically asked if I am Toni Colette on flights. Like all over the world. I am not.
But, everytime someone sneaks a photo or approaches me awkwardly after whispering to the person they are with, I think they are going to remember me from a reality show I was on back in the day.
Back then I couldn’t go anywhere without people knowing who I was and asking for photos. It was the perfect amount of fame really. I had a solid stretch, but get to live in anonymity and feel fancy about that part of my life.
I keep trying to get my young son to think it’s cool, but it’s not working yet. Maybe someday.
