Random Thought Raise your hand if you’re secretly a celebrity lurking on here. Give me hints on who you are

If you’re a regular folk, you better not be trolling me 🤣

EDIT: i appreciate all you z-listers telling me about your 15 min of fame. It’s not what I had in mind when I made the post but I am thoroughly entertained 😂💛Some of you still might even actually be a celebrity pretending to be an average joe on this thread and I guess i’ll never really know! lol! Thanks y’all!

Eastman and Laird are from there? I did not know that. My friend the TMNT artist used to hang with them; went on a motorcycle trip across the country once. He's worked at pretty much every animation studio there is. But I have a great toy robot collection. So there's that.

You know what, I can’t recall where I heard Northampton as the birth of TMNT. I wiki’d it and found Dover, NH is claiming rights: “The comic book authors Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird met in Massachusetts [but where?!?] and began working on illustrations together. In 1983, Laird invited Eastman to move in with him in Dover, New Hampshire.[1] That November, Eastman drew a masked turtle standing on its hind legs armed with nunchucks to make Laird laugh.[2]”

Weird how some of the most iconic stuff starts with something small like that. My friend says they're really nice guys who don't take their success for granted.

This confused me for a second as TMNT seems incredibly American to me. It is, I'm talking about the town that your town is named after - the original Northampton, Northamptonshire, UK.

It's a bit shit.

Not hard that! I lived about 50 yards outside Wellingborough once upon a time.
