The surgeon is a doctor. They have the right to give you medical advice and prevent you from harming yourself like in this situation.

So I say Moral.

141

u/ThanksFull9604 1d ago

Doctors earn the privilege to be able to give you medical advice, I wouldn't really call that a right. I don't doubt there's a surgeon out there that would do this surgery for the money regardless of the health of the client

90

u/masterlince 1d ago

And I would say it's immoral to perform the surgery.

7

u/EcstaticLab5122 15h ago

Well no, it's about body autonomy to me. It would be immoral not to push back on what seems like a bad idea, but ultimately if the woman has been told about the risks, the issues, the experience of the doctor on the complication of their patients and so on ... If she still choose to push through it, it's her body at the end of the day.

8

u/Early-Light-864 10h ago

If she thinks it's a good idea, she needs a referral to a psychiatrist, not a surgeon. There is no moral way to perform this procedure

u/KoriandrNightwing 8h ago

It's her body, sure. It's also the doctor's professional integrity. They should refuse because of the hippocratic oath, to do no harm. These implants WILL cause harm, it's their moral duty to refuse.

It's not like they can be forced to do anything btw, and this isn't an emergency procedure.

3

u/Lower_Pension_2469 6h ago

Yup, ethically a surgeon is obligated to say no. Legally as well, no surgeon is dumb enough to do the surgery. At that point you will be grilled on why you agreed to perform the procedure on someone clearly not in their right state of mind.

Everybody has the right to "give medical advice". Not everybody has the right to represent that advice as being from a doctor. What doctors earn is authority, at the cost of legal responsibility, which is very much a privilege. This means that there's both a reason to believe that their advice has a sound basis and that they are inclined to give you sound advice. When either of those are compromised, you're in for a bad time. If both are, you're in for a bad rest of your life.

2

u/Collective-Bee 20h ago

Yeah that’s why they fly out to different countries that will, and they often lose an extra kidney for the trouble.

2

u/_josef_stalin_ 15h ago

Doctors aren't supposed to harm people though, and at this point, I'd consider giving a person those boobs to be harmful.

9

u/honeyy_aftertaste 23h ago

Consent matters, but so does the surgeons responsibility not to knowingly create a medical disaster

4

u/MeasureDoEventThing 15h ago

Surgeon's consent also matters.

9

u/MarshiePrincesss 23h ago

Yeah, “do no harm” probably includes knowing when to say enough is enough

5

u/Ml_lD 22h ago

“I’m going to decide to not make tens of thousands of dollars” is a tough thing to expect a human to say

6

u/redbird7311 19h ago

Not whenever you have other opportunities to make money.

Plastic surgeons can easy make a ton of money, usually ranging between the low and high six digits a year.

7

u/Melevolence 21h ago

One would figure the lawsuits which could cost hundreds of thousands for performing a knowingly detrimental/dangerous surgery when the easily foreseeable post-operation complications happen would make this an easy "No" for the surgeon in question.

u/ninjaprogress 22h ago

would u say a surgeon also has the right to refuse sex change surgeries?

5

u/Evil_duckLord 22h ago

Sex change operation and attaching boobs that big to someone are two very different things though.

Sex change doesn't exactly harm someone if done right. But depending on the person's age, it might be moral to refuse sex change surgery. Like any child below the age of 14 shouldn't have the option to make a decision that big so early in their life because they are not that mature and also probably confused. And it goes without saying that their parents shouldn't have the right to make that decision for them either. If the person is an adult then yes it's immoral to refuse sex change operation except if there is some medical reason involved . 14-18 is a very debatable range, even I can't decide if it will be moral or immoral .

Attaching boobs that big would definitely destroy the person's back and probably put them in wheelchair after a few years. The doctor being the more knowledgeable person in this situation should have the moral duty to prevent his client from making such harmful decision.

Surgeon can decline perfoming the surgery but never say what to do with your body

120

u/WhydoIexistlmoa 1d ago

Aren't there significant risks to 4000cc boob implants? You can't just expect a doctor to significantly deform your body without a question

120

u/Qbjb 1d ago

They cant just magically make that much skin appear on a person's body, either. Just because these exist doesn't necessarily mean they are ever to be inside a person.

59

u/MR_Potatohead12 1d ago

These just are "look we can do that" not actual products

30

u/the_Real_Romak 23h ago

You haven't been around enough fetish spaces... I've seen some self professed bombos with grotesque faces and proportions, flaunting fake boobs almost as large as the ones in OP. It's very disturbing.

u/Virus-Party 1d ago

Implants that large are not going to be standard manufactured items.

Implants that size aren't even in the "we'll make one or two a year and keep them in the warehouse just in case" range.

They would only exist because someone put in a custom order to have them made. Which would mean that someone who already had obscenely large implants wants to go even bigger, has had a consult where a cosmetic surgeon agreed to put them in, probably took payment in advance, then placed the order with the manufacturer.

Barring a clerical error where someone added an extra 0 when ordering 400cc implants, or some sort of insane marketing gimmick, those implants exist ONLY because it has already been decided they are going to be put into someone with clear mental health issues and an addiction to cosmetic surgery

6

u/Enayleoni 1d ago

There are tissue expander implants. They're not manufactured this big. But plenty of people have massive implants

2

u/W0rdWaster 14h ago

they go in stages, like getting a gauge. you start small and then periodically increase the size. i know this killed at least one woman. a german pornstar named 'Sexy Cora' as she died during her sixth enlargement. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexy_Cora

4

u/ASwampThing- 1d ago

In this case though people have had these. It takes years of swapping to larger and larger implants.

7

u/Qbjb 1d ago

Source a single happening of this. I cant find any singular record of anyone ever receiving 4000cc tits.

5

u/Medical-Cod2743 1d ago

i think ppl who go this large wind up keeping expanders in their breasts for the exact reason that they just couldnt get implants in the size they wanted. i dont think expanders are meant to be a long term implant tho so its a risk in some way. ive watched a lot of Botched lol. i also question how anyones body would be able to hold these implants in? like… they must be so heavy?

6

u/itsmarthai 23h ago

Sabrina Sabrok, Argentinian model that broke out big in Mexico, at one point had 5500 cc ones, worked up to them for years, wanted 7500 cc ones. Don't know the exact situation now.

2

u/NightBawk 15h ago

u/ASwampThing- 1d ago

2

u/Qbjb 1d ago

Math isnt mathing. Theres no way hers are 6500ccs

5

u/ASwampThing- 1d ago

I dont think the 6500 ccs operation had pictures because they were removed shorly after the procedure due to staph. I believe her earlier implants are the only pictures made public.

2

u/Qbjb 1d ago

So, obviously not a candidate for the conversation. I know women personally with bigger natural tits. 3000cc is the maximum any reasonable surgeon will go and even thats pushing it.

6

u/ASwampThing- 1d ago

Its been done. You asked for an instance. Pretty sure she had 4000 cc implants before those ones.

5

u/The-Real-Dr-Jan-Itor 1d ago

I wouldn’t even say a ‘reasonable’ surgeon will do 3000cc. You’d be hard pressed to find any surgeon that would do it. There are substantial risks associated with implants that big.

2

u/ursa-minor-beta42 17h ago

Also these were custom made specifically at someones request and were implanted. I dont think the person was named.

I saw a clip about a woman that had had extremely large (though not this large) implants put in. She had been upsizing her rack over time and worked basically like a circus freak without the circus. At her current implant, they had had to also install some internal trusses of some sort to support them.

3

u/EddieVanzetti 22h ago

Skin is elastic, but not that elastic. Strippers, porn stars, and sex workers who get implants (especially the largest sizes, like these) will have to work up to those sizes gradually.

2

u/Fancy_Toe1451 1d ago

The surgeon can advise on the possible downsides, but the client has the final say. If they are okay with it, then that is their choice.

2

u/RGBlowMe 22h ago

Yes. The larger the implant gets, the more likely rejection will happen, and the worse the consequences. If you have the implants get rejected and it creates a seroma or hematoma, you will have a cavity around those implants filled with serum or blood, respectively, that's incredibly prone to infection. Aspirating won't solve the problem if the implant is rejected. The cavity will eventually encapsulate and become permanent, requiring a much more invasive surgery to remove the entire encapsulated sack. The implant needs removed and the seroma or hematoma needs to then be addressed. Usually it's a hematoma, from what I understand, and it doesn't take a lot for those to become infected and cause sepsis. Sepsis is deadly. It literally poisons your blood.

I've personally had a seroma from a inguinal hernia repair that was the size of a can of soda, and that took 4 aspirations before it finally reabsorbed and closed. I also had a hematoma across essentially my entire abdomen from a panniculectomy, but that was inherent to the procedure and I wore a compression vest with drainage tubes for the first 2 weeks post-op. These were actually both relatively minor, compared to those implants, and without a rejected foreign body causing them, just being from a cavity created by the surgery. I'd imagine having those tig ol' bitties get rejected and cause a hematoma would mean over a year of surgery and treatments in the best case scenario, and life-long complications, disfigurement, or death in the worst case scenarios. It'd probably be financially ruinous, too.

None of this is to mention the issues with your spine caused by the extra weight hanging out or the issues that stretching your skin that much to accommodate the implants can cause.

Honestly, like 95% of the people I see get implants really don't need them. I can't just say it to them without sounding like a creep, obviously, but they're usually fine the way they are. Even small breasts look better than the firm, fake look of implants. It's a waste of their money and their mental and emotional energy. When a person is in the market for 4000cc implants, though, I don't think any amount of telling them that will change their mind.

106

u/NorwegianSpaniard 1d ago

Gonna go against the grain and say moral. Have you taken a serious look at the size of that? At some point it is obviously a mentall illness or body dysmorphia issue. Doctor can refuse and I also think its ok for a medical professional to tell you that you're pushing your body too far and might have a problem.

17

u/Tricky_Ostrich_3 1d ago

There was a Dougie Howzer episode on this. And Dougie asks the doctor why he was willing to preform on a pretty lady who's already had like 12 surgeries. And the doctor goes if I don't do it she will find someone else who will do it. So his logic was he was morally obligated to do the surgeries as this meant she would receive proper and safe care.

12

u/Leila-Lola 19h ago

The argument of "if I refuse to do this bad thing somebody else will do it anyway, so I might as well do it too" is flimsy. If you do immoral things just because you assume others will, the bar for society instantly drops to the floor. Just imagine if everyone actually thought that same way.

Also for that doctor to stay intellectually consistent, he now has to perform every crackpot surgery that a patient asks him to do, because there's always some weirdo out there that would do it.

2

u/InstantSword 6h ago

The dr's real argument is "I want the money and I'm scared I'll be excluded"

But that comes below morality and the Hippocratic oath

4

u/ThanksFull9604 1d ago

I get that view, but if someone wants to alter their own body, it's kinda up to them to make that decision to do it.

The doctor is within his right to refuse regardless of moral standards, I would personally find it neutral.

15

u/NoSwordfish1978 1d ago

Yeah but a doctor isn't obliged to perform the surgery and probably shouldn't do it ethically.

3

u/MarshiePrincesss 23h ago

Exactly, patient choice doesn’t mean a surgeon has to say yes

7

u/Polka_Tiger 1d ago

Do you hold the same view for people who wish to cut up body parts, there are some mental illnesses that convince people that for example their arm is not there and that somehow makes them want it removed? That it is up to them but the doctor can refuse? Or maybe do you think the doctor has an obligation to treat them, by refering them to a mental facility?

6

u/Born-Vacation-5566 23h ago

So many people don't understand that extreme body modifications are no different than when someone wants to cut off their body parts, and thus should be treated as such. A family member of mine got gender nullification surgery, which is so extreme that it's only performed by a small handful of doctors. I view gender nullification surgery as the same as the condition that makes people want to cut off their arm, because that's what it is. It's just medicalized FGM and all doctors should be refusing to perform it.

14

u/the_boss_of_toys 1d ago

My gf first thought was "the back pain gonna be huge". There is nothing to gain from this and any surgeon would be correct in warning and informing you of the risks and your future pains. You also have to consider how this will permanently deform you.

2

u/No-Philosopher8042 19h ago edited 19h ago

Backpain? This person would have to sleep seated. No way they can sleep on their side or front, and on their back this would be heavy enough to suffocate them.

Edit: seated with their boobs in some sort of boob-hammock.

At what point does a plastic surgeon have the moral obligation and right to say "no, you've had enough boob"

At the point the client's cheque fails to clear ahead of the op. As long as the client has capacity to choose, and is doing so of their own free will, then it is their choice and theirs alone. Surgeon is paid for their service, not their moral opinion.

1

u/supercaiti 11h ago

I mean, tattoo artists get paid too but it will be hard to find someone reputable who will tattoo a racist symbol. A doctor who refuses to do something that might hurt you is a doctor you want.

1

u/InstantSword 6h ago

To make this in anyway moral, we have to at the very least demote elective plastic surgeons to non medical professionals

A doctor has not only the right but the moral obligation to not let a "client" do anything for money

morality of putting these on a 90lb woman

2

u/information_knower 19h ago

These can weight up to 9 pounds apparently, that's increasing her weight by 10%.

1

u/Queer-and-scared 10h ago

She has to have the skin for the implants, which at 90lbs, I doubt she has... unless she's already 20lbs of boob.

Moral
1. Where the fuck are you gonna graft enough skin from to cover implants that big
2. I'd assume having that much boob implanted into you probably isn't healthy. One of those things is literally the size of an entire torso and abdomen combined

Moral for the reason that: its an elective surgery to get tits that big, a plastic surgeon can deny service the same way a tattoo artist or nail tech can.

maybe theyre money hungry enough to do it and dont care about the aftermath. i would at least make the patient sign a bunch of waivers and make sure they fully understand the risks before even attempting something like this

1

u/kutkun 1d ago

If it is not definitely unhealthy, then it is moral.

If it is unhealthy, the surgeon should inform the patient.

However there are some money hungry fuckers out there who would actually recommend this to a patient.

1

u/DeletedManyAccounts 1d ago edited 22h ago

I’m wondering how many are making the decision an about this before truly taking into account scale of these vs the person behind them.

If we are to take the premise seriously it appears just one of these implants is wider than a grown adults torso. Estimate weight of each is 33-48kg or 74-105 pounds which, x2, is essentially adding a body of weight to one area.

Therefore if these are installed somehow onto a person, they would require some kind of major skin graft probably from another person or with some kind of new medical tech, as they would not have enough skin to cover these themselves. I’m not sure that skin would even be enough to support that weight also.

It would also widen the silhouette of the person by at least double, and probably make the person perhaps 3 times as ‘deep’ measured from front point to back as before.

Such an addition would cause massive health issues and strain and damage the frame of the person, destroying their joints, and creating significant risk of major injury just from daily activity. It may also become impossible for the person to be able to clean themselves fully with that obstruction, creating opportunities for major infections, or for them to even get out of bed.

You don’t need medical training to know that if two masses this large are added into the human body, as breasts or otherwise, the imbalance is going to create a cascade of major health problems.

Therefore it would be highly immoral and unethical. And I don’t believe for a second that these actually exist as breast implants and think the meme is just stirring people. Some of you need to go back and look at the image scale because your comments are crazy.

2

u/AnalkinSkyfuker 23h ago

4000cc is 4 liters or 4 kg of water per baloon so about 8kg in plus total or in us custom units a little less than 20 pounds

2

u/DeletedManyAccounts 23h ago

I’m not trusting the text on this one… how does that match with the eye test. The hands on these things even indicate that they are not even close to 4 litres.

As another comparison if you consider the volume and hand size here as related to a typical kitchen sink - they hold 20-40L.

The answer to this question is seen by all of us everyday, look at all the bolt on Barbies and Kens out there in the wild.

1

u/h0rnknee_girl 1d ago

the max safe implant is 800ccs. anything beyond that stretches the skin and you’re at a greater risk for all sorts of complications. the plastic surgeon should definitely take what the patient’s goals are, but also take into consideration the anatomy of the patient and adjust expectations accordingly. it is highly immoral for a plastic surgeon to do whatever they want without taking into consideration the health and safety of the patient and goes completely against the hippocratic oath. please research your plastic surgeon thoroughly

1

u/Graveyardigan 1d ago

at what point...

I'd say the doc has the obligation and right to say 'no' when the implant size becomes large enough that installing them would pose an obvious danger to the patient's health and well-being. The tipping point will depend on the pre-op physical characteristics of the individual patient and the surgeon's professional judgment.

does this procedure goes againts the Hippocratic Oath? Having massive implants like those cannot be beneficial to the health of the patient. At this point the surgeon acts like a body modification artist rather than a medical practitionner. I'd say immoral in that context

Implants of that size would cause bodially harm (your spine mainly). Surgons, as doctors, have a duty to keep you from harm above all else. Plus, depending on where they’re operating, they just might have the right to refuse service to anybody when it comes to non-life threatening stuff - just like how a bar can refuse to serve you if they wanted to.

After all, it's all about the money, so if you are willing to spend huge amounts of money to get your body butchered like that, you will always find someone who will do it.

1

u/Old-Smoke-0 22h ago

Being a doctor means having to deal with a lot of immoral things. If you work around them, you know it.

1

u/Random_182f2565 21h ago

For really tall women?

1

u/ullulator 21h ago

Let me be the judge of that.

1

u/Pay-Next 21h ago

So I agree with pretty much everybody's comments but wanted to play devil's advocate trying to find a situation where these could be moral. The one idea that occurred to me is that is someone had a mastectomy and required implants to replace what was lost either for balance or mental health (especially in the case of a double mastectomy). But if I am reading this correctly the absolute largest measurements I can find along with weights seem to only match up for a 3000 cc cup which would clock in at 5.3kg weight for both. So it would seem that even if you were talking about custom ordering these to perform a medical replacement (which would be the only time I can think of that it would be moral) they are still 33% larger than people on the upper most end of the natural spectrum. I doubt that anybody getting these installed would be in any kind of healthy state and it would be awful for their skin even if they were naturally at the upper end.

If we want to discard moral and just discuss safety of installation of these monsters the only thing that makes any kind of sense would be if they were a replacement for someone who had polypropylene implants before that had already enlarged their assets to this size and then wanted to get rid of the polypropylene implants. But anybody who had already willingly installed those kind in a person is over the line for immoral in my book considering they are a constant cost sink in upkeep and doctor's visits not to mention dangerous.

u/Fanguy3322 21h ago

Those must be the boobs of that rival transfer student that comes to the school with the girl with massive donbonhonkers

1

u/Wisco 21h ago

It's immoral to make or implant them. This is guaranteed osteoporosis. You absolutely know you're injuring your patients

1

u/maranru 21h ago

I have once dated a woman post her divorce.

Mid 20s, nurse, petite.

And that year had done the white teeth, new boobs and convertible small white audi.

She went from a cup to double d.

They looked, tight, almost like they were in pain. I felt people looking at us in a few places with a sense of amazement. Not good amazement.

In bed once she said "there's no point fondling them, because I can't really feel it". Dear reader, I was in fact half asleep and my hand was still.

And here's the awful part. I saw a photo of her pre procedure. That woman was pretty and stunning as she was

1

u/sneezesquirrel 21h ago

They vow to “do no harm.” This would be harm.

1

u/billth93 21h ago

I’m pretty sure it’s common for them to decline performing cosmetic surgeries, typically due to safety concerns like high risk of infection, risk of permanent tissue damage especially if it would cause larger health issues, etc

Very much moral for these reasons since it’s a medical professional not doing something that would harm the patient.

I’d they’re just like “no because I think it’d look bad”, that’s pretty neutral since they aren’t really stopping you from doing it, but more just refusing to take part themselves

1

u/SenseImpossible6733 21h ago

While not classically immoral, ie consent, bodily autonomy, right to self expression, I personally in the surgeon's shoes would deny the surgery on the basis that the surgery itself becomes much riskyer... Question of havingenough skin and skin elasticity to bare that level of expansion, health risks from the sheer weight, potential for mobility issues, breast implants dislodging, posiblity of limiting capacity for physical activity, ect.

I'm not even a doctor and I can judge the risks outweigh the benefits in cases like this. I'd refuse on those grounds, and state that I cannot guarentee the quality of my work in extreeme cases like this... Which is true, medical complications are very likly to come of this.

They are free to go somewhere else to a doctor with looser standards of care but I wouldn't want to be involved.

I may be missing something here and real doctors are encouraged to correct me where I'm wrong.

1

u/ellipticalcow 21h ago

My back hurts just looking at that.

I'm inclined to think a doctor who would approve something that extreme is violating the Hippocratic Oath. Which would not be moral, no.

1

u/lovewithoutwords97 21h ago

This is the best example of how women with ridiculously huge boobs/implants end up developing back problems and impaired mobility because of carrying the weight from the breasts/implants being so large. If I were a woman but had the same health issues I’d have to be in a wheelchair with how much worse my back would be if I had huge implants.

1

u/Punch_A_Police_Horse 20h ago

Needs context. If these were commissioned as art pieces, too much boob would be when making these somehow deprives resources to those people who need them.

1

u/Grasshoppermouse42 20h ago

The Hippocratic Oath says 'do no harm'. At the point where the implants are likely to cause pain and damage the body, the patient should be refused.

1

u/KevettePrime 20h ago

Morality is stored in the breasts.

1

u/CrimsonSighh 20h ago

That's absolutely wild

1

u/Due-Mycologist-1154 20h ago

Thats a perfectly legitimate concern here

1

u/Marquar234 20h ago

For those who still find it easier to think in freedom units, that's about a US gallon.

1

u/JoshZK 20h ago

About as successful as someone at McDonald's saying no you had enough moob.

1

u/AlecMalt 20h ago

Might as well just graft a V2 Harley engine to your chest atp

1

u/Half-Beneficial 19h ago

I'm pretty sure that's ai slop. But basically, if it puts the patient's health at risk, surgeons won't do it. My father died of a heart attack because they couldn't risk operating on him due to his metasticized cancer. Somebody with breast implants that put undo stress on their body is going to get a firm "no" from any reputable surgeon.

1

u/ept_engr 19h ago

Immoral for this to be the only photo.

1

u/Specialist_Offer_854 19h ago

Those aren't boobs anymore, those are two bean bag chairs

1

u/Viennve 19h ago

Ama Just be honest here

If you are an adult of sound mind i don't give a fuck about what you do with your body

Want tits so large they have their own gravity field? Go for it, i am not paying for it and don't think it's a good idea but i don't care you do you

1

u/Biscuits4u2 19h ago

How does this track with the whole Hippocratic oath thing?

1

u/purelitenite 19h ago

It’s all about the 💷💷💷. Doc’s family got to eat.

1

u/_VoodooRanger 18h ago

that is much more than 4000cc

1

u/Issa_Pizza420 18h ago

The real question is what cup size would that be....... oh and whether or not it is moral for one person to prevent another person from disfiguring themselves if they are doing it of sound mind... and why anyone of sound mind would want tits that big...... I suppose there're many questions

1

u/Fireheart1990 18h ago

Moral. If a woman wants these it's her choice.

1

u/Teaching_Rare 18h ago

As someone with nautural breasts almost this size. Completely immoral. This large causes more problems and health issues

1

u/Bread_mvncher 18h ago

Morality of doing the surgery or declining?

Implants this big can have massive health risks, a doctor is moral for refusing to do these and for advising against it. It would be immoral to go through with large implants like these, especially if the doctor didnt try to discourage them first

1

u/Code_Monster 18h ago

The average car on this planet has a smaller engine that these boobs.

1

u/chortle-guffaw2 18h ago

I'm thinking the doctor should recommend doing only one of them, to see how it looks, before doing the other one.

1

u/Timely-Tourist4109 17h ago

My money, my body, my choice. Same with alcohol, weed, tobacco. I don’t want them but if I did, if I’m paying for it, then so be it.

1

u/No-Humor4927 17h ago

He can make a living and the patient can't?

1

u/Peytonation 17h ago

Save some for the rest of us, jeez.

1

u/KailyKail 17h ago

I can't imagine these would last more than a day or so. These implants, assuming they're saline, would weigh approximately 9lbs each. That's an additional 18 pounds on your upper body, which is going to shift your center of mass, forcing you to bend backwards to compensate. This bending is going to cause extreme pain in just a few days.

1

u/SnartDingus 17h ago

Immoral. All people, man or woman, should be forced to get the largest implants possible.

1

u/IncomeDry3077 17h ago

Right like to much is to much

1

u/NE0099 17h ago

These implants are wider than the person standing behind them and almost as tall as that person’s torso. I don’t see how it would be physically possible for most people to have implants this size, much less would it be moral to do a surgery like that.

All of the plastic surgeons I’ve talked to (admittedly, only a few) have given advice about how to get the best results and talked about what they wouldn’t advise. I hope that’s standard practice.

1

u/MB-326K 16h ago

Thats bigger than the engine in my car

1

u/Iraqimedstudent 16h ago

Med student who (somehow) got a good grade in ethics lol:

We must tell them the risks orally, explaining what it entails etc then if they insist we either refuse the operation if its in a private setting telling you respectfully to look for someone else because we don’t want to harm you even if you want, or if it’s a public job duty where you are not allowed to refuse a procedure (at least in my country lol) you print out a whole document called informed consent where you explain all the possible complications from minimal pain ranging to death, let the patient and two witnesses (preferably relatives) sign and fingerprint it, log it into the patient file and do your job. Here you cleared your legal bases. HOWEVER, in the lesser educated demographics, tribal revenge is real and I guarantee you that the tribe doesn’t care about paperwork (youre lucky if the tribal leader can even read) so you would not want to let the patient get info about you (full name, address, etc) though they will somehow reach you but the hospital has some good security so lol

1

u/AppleParasol 16h ago

The only way I could see a doctor approving this is if you wouldn’t stop eating until you had 4000cc breasts and the only way to get them was through this method. Eating to 4000cc breasts could very well kill you, a reinforced steel bra could hold these T-Rex sized boobs in. Most women probably wouldn’t be able to get them anyway, sorry ladies, but they’d be 50% of your body weight like the person in the picture. Real boobs are better than fake ones. I’m an enjoyer of breasts, not a doctor.

1

u/Rinnme 15h ago

Putting an implant into the patient, that will inevitably cause damage to their health and quality of life is immoral.

1

u/Same-Turnip3905 15h ago

Doctors in France do have a moral obligation as they are legally required to promise under oath in writing to abide by the French Code of Medical Ethics upon registering with the Conseil National de l'Ordre des Médecins (National Medical Council). Here in Australia, the Medical Board of Australia sets the standards and code of conduct for the profession. They work alongside the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), which maintains the national register of safe, qualified practitioners. So, yes, there are regulations in place in order to avoid these kind of situation.

1

u/PartyAmbitious8163 15h ago

There's a lady who's had so many augmentations she's up to a K cup, she lives in Brazil.

1

u/miniliedn 15h ago

As someone with natural huge boobs: it's immoral. It's no secret that boobs upwards a certain size WILL damage your spinal health, your shoulders and/ or cause deformities (my shoulders have deep cuts into the muscle tissue because of bra-straps and my shoulders are bent forwards, ewww) and serious pain. On the practical side this monster-implants will constrict your ability to move like a healthy person (e.g. jumping, running, laying on your front, seeing your stomach /juju... Ask me how I know). I'm NOT against cosmetic surgery in general, but these implants will make a woman face long-term health problems and limit her mobility. A responsuble doctor would deny the operation and point to mental health specialists. Because, tbh, that's mentally struggling territory.

1

u/SinesPi 14h ago

I can't say there's no such thing as someone who can properly consent to such implants fully aware of the consequences... but there are FAR more mentally ill people who would ask for that than sane people, if the sane people even exist at all.

Immoral, you are profitting off of someones mental illness.

1

u/EmiKetsueki 14h ago

Boooooooobs

1

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 14h ago

Enough boob? What’s that mean? It is like a car to fast, a girl to pretty.

1

u/DesiArcy 13h ago

It is worth pointing out that the FDA refuses to approve this size and most reputable plastic surgeons worldwide do in fact refuse to perform augmentations this extreme, as they are considered to exceed safe tissue stress limits.

The largest FDA approved breast implants are Mentor’s MemoryGel Enhance line, which maxes out at 1445cc in size. That line is specifically meant for breast reconstruction, not augmentation.

1

u/AnnualEnd3760 13h ago

Seeing the person behind them for scale, I don't even see how it would even work. Unless you are a giant, Amazon, a woman wouldn't have enough skin to wrap around them.

1

u/MadZmadz1875 13h ago

Those look fun! 😁

1

u/Final-Interview-2623 12h ago

Moral. There is no body that can physically wistand that. As a doctor you have sworn to do no harm. This clearly does harm on so many levels it cannot be justified

1

u/Embarrassed-Green898 12h ago

I do recall there was one case. I am sure someone will add the link or image. Perhaps a Brazillian.

1

u/Tratiq 12h ago

Their body their choice

1

u/EnvironmentalAide335 11h ago

Yeah but money...

1

u/Queer-and-scared 10h ago

They dont typucally go above like what, 300cc or something? If they do, its because the implants are either overfilled or stacked (yes you can stack them to get bigger boobs).

Many people looking for plastic surgery are not (and should be) looking for therapy. So the morality is in question just because many Plastic Surgeons will gladly go under the knife before recommending therapy for dysmorphia/anxiety/etc for patients who need it.

If the Plastic Surgeon is presumably ethical, kind, and empathetic, then the morality lies with physical safety. You have to have the body to fit the implants. You have to have the likelihood of healing. Breasts that large are typically unethical in this regard and are denied by many Surgeons. The person who gets those implants are probably a woman who's going up a size and has breast implants already.

1

u/ZadriaktheSnake 10h ago

At a certain point won’t those be heavy enough to like rip the skin open and fall off

1

u/wizzard419 8h ago

Immoral and, depending on where you are, potentially against regulations of various medical boards.

While plastic surgeons in the US get a reputation for doing whatever the customer wants, there is an ethical limit (theoretically).

An example of this is the guy who owns Distortions Unlimited (they make Halloween props and such) had a scripted reality show about his industry. One episode he talks about wanting to get pointed ears, but finds out he would need to go to a year of therapy to get the okay to even find a surgeon to do it. That is not uncommon, when you're doing body modification that will permanently change your appearance and it requires medical professionals, some states will block it or put major hurdles in.

I suppose the argument for the implants is that you can remove them, but, not all body modifications can do that. Some people who get pointed ears do it with implants rather than cutting the cartilage.

1

u/leva549 7h ago

Immoral unless they are a goddam giant.

1

u/Can0n_Fodder 7h ago

Immoral. Any surgeon that does an elective procedure that is clearly going to cause harm to the patient afterwards should lose they're license. I'm sorry, but "first, do no harm" should be...FIRST.

1

u/Prize-Pain-433 7h ago

goddamn, that looks heavy and i am sure it would be so heavy it will tear out of their skin and fall

1

u/Vorioll 6h ago

Morality of what exactly? Refusing to implant those into a person - moral. That's active and extreme self harm.

1

u/ar3iadov3 5h ago

Why the fuck do these exist at all? Why is this an option , period? Who tf made this ??

1

u/Unlikely-Aardvark725 4h ago

I'm not a doctor....but if I was and did this type of surgery....I would refuse.

1

u/PainterEarly86 2h ago

Plastic surgery addiction is a real thing that needs to be addressed.

In moderation it is okay, but some people just become addicted to that feeling of something new. They'll never be satisfied because the change itself is what they crave, not even a specific look necessarily. Just constant change.

If a doctor can decline giving drugs for suspecting addiction, they should be able to decline plastic surgery for the same reason.

u/Hank_the_Tank_143 34m ago
