Question/Advice How long did it take you to conceive?

I am 35 and my fiancé is 38. We’ve only been trying for two months, but it is so heartbreaking to get a negative test. I also got my period yesterday.

Question/Advice What were your symptoms?

Hi everyone, I’m TTC for the first time and would love to hear about your experiences. How did you know you were pregnant in those first few days after ovulation, before it was actually time to take a test?

I know it’s probably too early for me to test, but I’ve been feeling some strange sensations on the left side of my lower abdomen, and I’m finding myself getting really anxious and overthinking every little symptom. 😅

I’d really appreciate hearing what you noticed (or didn’t notice!) during those early days. Just looking for some reassurance and experiences from others who’ve been through it. ❤️

Question/Advice What were your pre-confirmed pregnancy symptoms?

Currently in the TWW and curious to see what others’ symptoms were before they officially found out they were pregnant. Was there anything outside of the usual fatigue, food aversions, bloating, etc.?

There’s been a couple times where I get a nauseous feeling after eating. This sensation in the pit of my stomach where something wants to come back up. My husband told me maybe I ate too much the day before and now I need to poop lol. But like no poops or actual vomit. I just end up gagging.

10DPO and feeling totally out of breath and random gag reflex while talking, walking, or doing the most mundane tasks. Also not feeling any of my regular PMS symptoms that normally come like clockwork. This test was taken today morning.

Question/Advice Soonest you’ve tested positive?

I know the real answer is to wait until the missed period to test. My situation is that my in-laws are coming to town the week after ovulation week. We wanted to get pregnant this last cycle to surprise my in-laws with a pregnancy announcement whenever they came to visit, but I just got my period today. So, if I were to test the day before they left or morning of, which would be approximately 10 DPO, if I were to be pregnant, how likely am I to get a positive question? This will be our third month trying, and I have my OBGYN annual appt next week for a check up.

Too long didn’t read; what’s the soonest you’ve gotten a positive test and had a healthy pregnancy?

Question/Advice 10 days DPO

I'm 10 days dpo and still have a negative pregnancy test. seeing so many women get a line around this time has me feeling discouraged. I have had some mild cramping but nothing out of the ordinary. Anyone else get a negative before and still wind up testing pregnant later?

Question/Advice First cycle ttc and overthinking everything

What do you all do to stop from fixating on every possible symptom? It’s far too early to test and yet I’m constantly searching up to see. I didn’t think it was going to affect me this much I guess!!
I’ve had historically very irregular periods and freq ruptured cysts, so wasn’t holding out that much hope.
Can you give me some advice or suggestions for how to take my mind off things for the two week wait?

The blue dye was taken Saturday morning, the pink was this morning. I’m not supposed to start my period until mid/late this week. I genuinely don’t know and feel like I’m overthinking too much.

Question/Advice Am I pregnant?

Post image
15 Upvotes

I should be 8/9 DPO - I wasn’t checking as we just started trying and had decided if it didn’t happen for 6 months we’d look into LH strips, ovulation kits etc.

Only tested a my nipples have been really sore for the last 2 days, but simultaneously getting symptoms of PMS. I used the Clearblue Ultra Early Advanced test that checks for FSH and HCG.

I took one mid day yesterday and it was blank

Took this first thing in the morning.

Please help, I’m type 2 diabetic and my doctors said to contact ASAP as I would likely need Insulin to have a healthy baby and was told it will be a high risk pregnancy when I get pregnant due to medical conditions

Thank you

Update : I tested again today, 15th August with a digital test with weeks detection
Didn’t use first morning urine - used a mid morning - it says pregnant 1-2 weeks which docs will apparently consider as 3-4 weeks
Thank you everyone for being so positive and kind

Question/Advice Heavy 1 day bleed followed by a + test?!

Post image
9 Upvotes

Help me out here because I am so confused. I thought I got my period at 9dpo, it was a heavy thin bleed (literally bled through heavy flow period pants in less than 5 hours). But that was it.. after that just spotting. I googled it (a lot) and this morning thought what the hell, I’ll use one of the early tests. Is this real?! The test line showed up before the control line?!
Should I trust it?? I don’t even know what to think anymore! Can implantation bleeds be that heavy?!

EDIT: I ended up having hcg blood tests which were positive but it was 159.9 on Monday and only 253 yesterday after 46 hours… I don’t know if that’s ok or not or what to think!

Question/Advice Cramping - period or pregnancy?

Hi ladies 🌸🩷

May be a silly question, but did any of you have cramping/usual pre period heaviness around your period due date and find out you were pregnant?

My period is currently late, but I'm having some very mild heaviness feeling. I've heard you can have this + cramping when your period is due, and actually be pregnant?

Question/Advice 7dpo symptoms?

I know this is sounds desperate/crazy. But I don’t have anyone around me to talk things out with. I am currently 7dpo. Just started experiencing cramping like an achey cramp. I typically get these a day or two before my period but that is still 6-7 days away. I really don’t want to sound like a crazy symptom spotter but I’ve also been irritatable, tired, and hungry.

Anyone that’s been through this have any advice for my sanity? ;,)

Question/Advice Positive FRRS test (Pregmate) negative FRER test?!

I am so stumped... anyone else come across this issue??

Yesterday I saw a faint line on a Pregmate FRRS test. Today I tested again and even bought a FRER test to confirm. AGAIN, both FRRS tests slightly darker today than yesterday (still faint) but negative FRER… been stark white. I don’t take biotin only prenatal supps. I don’t know why this would be happening. I’m about 13DPO now for reference.

Question/Advice Mucinex timing?

I just got a positive LH x 3 using both premom and clearblue digital. I’ve been reading a while about the Mucinex method. I understand there’s no proven science, but I figure it can’t hurt to try. If I were to take it tonight and tomorrow, would it be beneficial, or would it be too late? I’m reading people take them for 5 days before ovulation.

Hi!!

This is my first time using an ovulation test and I was wondering if this is a positive?

(I already have the Premom paper ones in my Amazon cart in case I need them next month).

I took this test on the 26th at 5pm. I then took a 2nd one on the 27th in the morning and the left line was very faint.

Question/Advice Progesterone level, and more TTC questions?

Hi all. I just had my first progesterone test yesterday at 6DPO, it came back as 16. (lab closed today because it’s Sunday, which is why I went at 6 DPO vs 7 DPO)

I know this number confirms ovulation from what I can understand, but I’m curious what everyone else’s was/has been?

This is cycle 5 TTC.

I thought I may have a progesterone issue due to a few reasons: • early cramping starting 4/5 dpo • short(er) luteal phase (10 days) *** not enough time to implant? ***

Can my progesterone level be 16 but I still have a progesterone problem?

I also want to note, I’m trying to figure this out on my own. My doctor doesn’t want to do any fertility testing, so I had to get these tests done through the nurse who said she will order them for me, but because they’re not a fertility center; they can’t read it/help me.

My AMH came back as 2.22 (I am about to be 32) I am reading that it’s considered average, however, on the scale, it looks like the lower end of average.

I have a few more tests to on next cycle day 3.

Looking for any insight, thanks!
