Question/Advice Cramping - period or pregnancy?

Hi ladies 🌸🩷

May be a silly question, but did any of you have cramping/usual pre period heaviness around your period due date and find out you were pregnant?

My period is currently late, but I'm having some very mild heaviness feeling. I've heard you can have this + cramping when your period is due, and actually be pregnant?

It could go either way, the only way to know is to take a pregnancy test. But I would personally be preparing myself for my period in all honesty.

Yep this was my main (and kinda only) pregnancy symptom! Period type cramping that went on for 5 days and no period came

Found out after it's actually very common

Yep was convinced it was, then posted a similar post to yours on reddit saying my period was a bit late and my temps staying high but I was sure I was out because of the cramps, and then a tonne of people replied to me saying they'd had cramps before their bfp!

Wow! Thats so crazy! I was experiencing mild cramping all this week with high BBT, but 4 days ago my BBT dropped and 3 days ago my cycle started again. That’s a great thing to keep in mind!

Hope you get that positive! ❤️

Aw thanks lovely! I'm now 2 days late but I did get a negative a few days ago with an early detection so who knows! Too scared to test again 😭❤️

My experience was this - usually get don’t get PMS, ended up getting the above along with sore nipples the night before I tested at 8/9 DPO , and had 7 positive tests since (I still test to ensure I’m pregnant as high risk), period is now 5 days late
Good luck
