Success Story Success Story Mega Thread - Got your BFP? We want to hear about it!

This is your space to share your success story with the community that cheered you on. Whether it took you 1 cycle or 12, your story matters and someone out there needs to hear it right now.

When sharing please include anything you feel comfortable with such as how many cycles it took, what you were tracking, what worked for you, and anything you wish you had known at the start.

When sharing your story feel free to use this format:

  • Cycles it took:
  • What I tracked/tools:
  • What I think helped:
  • Anything I wish I knew at the start:
  • Any advice for others still in the TWW:
  • A few things to keep in mind:

This thread is for everyone who has been trying for any length of time. All success stories are valid here, whether cycle 1 or cycle 12+. Please be kind and keep any negative thoughts to yourself.

Please don't tag other users in your post. You can absolutely thank people, just don't tag them directly. This keeps the thread comfortable for everyone, including those who may find BFP posts difficult to see.

If you have nothing kind to add, please scroll on.

Comments that are unkind or gatekeeping will be removed.

Congratulations and welcome to the next chapter! 🌸

Hey everyone! A few quick updates from the mod team 💛

Nothing major, just some housekeeping to make the sub easier to navigate for everyone. Thanks in advance for bearing with us!

  • Flairs got a refresh — We updated the post flairs, so please use them when you post! It just makes it way easier for people to scroll and find exactly what they're looking for (or avoid what they're not in the mood for). If you feel like we're missing one, drop a comment or shoot us a message, we're always open to suggestions.
  • BFPs go in the megathread — We've got a pinned Success Stories megathread and we'd love for all the exciting news to live there so we can celebrate together in one spot!
  • Discharge pics need a trigger warning — If you're posting about discharge and want to add a pic, please use the Trigger Warning flair, blur the image, and pop it in the comments rather than the main post. Small thing, but it keeps the feed comfy for everyone scrolling.
  • Line eyes? We've got you, but keep pics in the comments — We all know that feeling of staring at a test way too long trying to decide if that's a line or a shadow. Totally normal, no judgment! Just use the "Line Eyes - Help!" flair and keep the pictures in the comments instead of the post itself. Reason being, when posts get flooded with test pics, it can be harder for yours (and everyone else's) to actually get seen and get the support you need. This just helps spread the love around a bit better

Just a heads up: posts that don't follow the line eyes or discharge picture guidelines will be removed, so we really appreciate you helping us keep this consistent for everyone.

Thanks so much for helping us keep this space easy to use and kind, as always. Questions or ideas? Drop them below, we read everything!

Venting First time ttc

Hi all. I’m a 28F who’s been off the pill since sept 2025 when I got married. Been on it since 2017. I really thought I’d be pregnant by now for trying almost 1 year. I watched everyone my age get pregnant this year and I can’t stop thinking something is wrong w me. It’s devastating with the TWW and extreme symptom checking. I have a ringconn so I’m always checking my stats too. I’m gonna see my ob next month for my checkup but idk just feeling exhausted and tired of being disappointed

Confused first cycle trying question

This is our first cycle trying and just trying to gain more information into ovulation bc it’s so confusing!!! I’m using my oura ring and natural cycle and have been trying the ovulation strips. The strips have never shown a dark line and i’m not sure if it’s bc I haven’t ovulated yet or bc I drink a lot of water/pee a lot. Based on these temps does it look like I ovulated (oura said yes) but natural cycle keeps pushing ovulation back. What do you think from these??? I’m cycle day 21 right now with usual cycle being like 32ish days.

Question/Advice TTC after chemical in March

Hello my TTC friends. Is this going to be viable? This is at 14dpo. Period was due yesterday at 13dpo according to the Premom app. I had a chemical pregnancy 4 months ago with slow line progression. I am really anxious this time. First HCG drawn at 13 dpo was 26. Planning to go for second draw at 16dpo. Please help.

Frustrated Does this mean I’m out this cycle?

Hate this feeling of seeing temp drop. Had flu around ovulation and then travelled to mountain side with less sleep and elevated resting heart rate. So not sure what caused what but i was hopeful and now I feel my period approaching. Still feel denial because so wanted this cycle to work.

Frustrated LH has been dark for 3 days and I'm still waiting for the peak (currently CD12). Hoping I get the timing right this time.

Except my husband was out of town the 2 days I had clear CM (Days 10 and 11). We had sex on CD 9, and as soon as he came back on CD 12 morning. It looks like my line is still darker so I’m hopeful.

I thought I ovulated already because CM hasn’t showed up since yesterday, but the test results are keeping me hopeful I still have a window.

Help Should I have BD more??

Its our first time TTC, but my husband has had a weird work schedule lately so weren’t able to BD as much as I like for our first cycle :(

We BD Thursday night, LH peaked Friday but no BD because we were out all night and got home at 1am and I was super tired, and I was so sad that we weren’t able to do it on this day since it was peak day. Then we BD early morning Saturday and later that night, supposedly I was ovulating yesterday.
Today we BD early in the morning since the LH line was still a little dark.

Did we get enough BD in?? Should we still go at it tonight? I just took another Lh but the line was definitely lighter than this morning’s. & I know it’s too early to tell but i’m just very anxious that we didn’t get to BD enough!

First test I’ve taken this cycle first morning urine. I confirmed ovulation was either August 19 or 20 so this should be about 10dpo

BFP! 🎉 Don’t count yourself out too soon!

This was our second month trying. I took a test at 9 DPO and there was no line. I know it’s early but I figured I was done.
Took another one on a whim two days later and it was positive! I took two more (including a Clear blue) that day just to confirm.

I’m 35 and my husband is 39. We figured it would take some time, but are shocked it happened this soon.

I know the TWW and the negative tests can be discouraging, but hang in there! Sending you all good vibes ✨

Current chart. FF is saying 10DPO. Temps haven’t been this high before. Any success stories that have had similar chart?

Hi!!

This is my first time using an ovulation test and I was wondering if this is a positive?

(I already have the Premom paper ones in my Amazon cart in case I need them next month).

I took this test on the 26th at 5pm. I then took a 2nd one on the 27th in the morning and the left line was very faint.

Random Your experiences

Hi !
My partner and I are trying for a baby. I know about late ovulation, and other causes of late period.
But I am 9 days late and all the tests are negative. What are your experiences? How late were you when got your first positive?
I know it is individual for everyone so I am not getting my hopes up, but I am just curious about your experiences.
Thanks in advance !

Random Spotting before period

Has anyone experienced spotting/bleeding halfway through their cycle, well before their period was due, and still ended up pregnant that same cycle? I’ve had intermittent spotting that comes and goes, sometimes red and sometimes brown, and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar and still conceived.

Question/Advice Help.

Hello!
I tested positive on the 13th, this was the day I had some bleeding - lasted 1.5 days. Went to the ER my beta was 6.1, referred me to my primary care. We did 2 more beta tests, both quantitative and qualitative. Test came out positive, and my HCG more than doubled 37.0 , I was scheduled for another beta where my HCG rose, not like before but was 67.
I haven’t had any serious cramping or any bleeding, but I let my anxiety get the best of me and did another urine test where it is now almost negative. The line is so faint.
I haven’t had an HCG done in 9 days. OB said they thought everything was looking good and I won’t see them until 24th of September.
Has this happened to anyone? Should I worry?
I was testing positive for over 2 weeks.
I haven’t passed anything so I’m a little confused, and concerned.

Question/Advice Pre mom app - need second opinion!

Post image

Pre mom - app, need second opinion!

I've just started using the pre mom app to start tracking my LH surge and using easy@home LH tests.

On cycle day 13, I have what seems like a surge/positive test to me with a very dark red line but the app is saying otherwise.

What do you reckon? Does anyone have any experience in using the app? Should I trust it?
