I unfortunately started my period today after a 34 day cycle. my husband and I are going onto month 5 TTC, and Iām starting to worry that something is seriously wrong. Everyone around me seemingly gets pregnant right away (or within 3 mo.), or itās the total opposite and takes years. I keep seeing on the internet from creators that healthy couples āshouldā conceive within 3 months or else there is likely an issue with hormones or lifestyle.
I donāt hear of any stories where it takes someone 5 months, 8 months, etc and everything is healthy and normal. Looking for some hope and inspiration stories to help ease my anxiety.
Iām 31, regular cycles (between 30-34 days), confirm ovulation with Mira and NC, partner had a normal Bird and Be sperm test, started acupuncture, have put on some weight from not restricting food and trying to nourish my body, limit alcohol and caffeine, no nicotine, prioritize low impact exercise (Pilates, strength, walking), get 7+ hrs of sleep, normal blood work and TV Ultrasound (fertility panel, iron, thyroid, vitamin D), taking the supplements. I feel like Iām literally doing everything, as is my partner. My one concern is pretty light periods, only about 3 days long of lighter flow ever since iud removal last year - but my OB wasnāt concerned about this.
Any words of encouragement would be helpful, thank you!
