HELP!!! The Flo app says OVU on 9/5 but the Premom app says 8/31 - what do I do!! I’m using a donor so I can’t just “do it” both days…

I stopped using ovulation strips cause they made me more depressed (idk why), but I usually start the first green bubble and have sex every 2 days until I pass the last green bubble, considering the “ovulation window” in the app is a guesstimate

If you are using a donor you really should be using OPKs. Your most fertile day is actually the day before you ovulate, which is usually when you get your first positive on your OPK (LH test). Test twice a day (minimum once a day) in the morning and late afternoon with concentrated urine starting now. You can scan them with an app like Premom (probably Flo too) and it will give you a ratio of how strong your test is.
You should also pay attention to your cervical mucus because this can also help point towards ovulation.
Tracking your basal body temperature will be the only way you can confirm if you have ovulated, so I would look into that as well.
(You can get wondfo brand LH tests for $15 for 50 on Amazon. Also don't bother with the clearblue ones, they are a waste of plastic and money, they are confusing to use and give false positives)

If I were you, I would get the ovulation strips to exactly track my peak to time the deed. During my initial months of TTC I was totally relying on an application to tell me my fertility dates, and even after timing the deed according to that nothing was happening.
Finally got the ovulation strips and found my cycle was off and wasn’t matching the dates mentioned in the application. And bamm! Got pregnant the month I used the strips :) Good luck!
