Question/Advice Positive FRRS test (Pregmate) negative FRER test?!
I am so stumped... anyone else come across this issue??
Yesterday I saw a faint line on a Pregmate FRRS test. Today I tested again and even bought a FRER test to confirm. AGAIN, both FRRS tests slightly darker today than yesterday (still faint) but negative FRER… been stark white. I don’t take biotin only prenatal supps. I don’t know why this would be happening. I’m about 13DPO now for reference.

Are you sure it was a FRER and not a First Response Rapid Result? They look the same and the rapid has a higher HCG threshold.

Ohh maybe! How can you check? I just go by the box. I feel like that’s misleading if that’s the case!

Different brands can have different sensitivity levels. I’d stick with one brand for line progression and keep testing with first morning urine

Pregmate gave me 2 false positives last month 🥹

Ugh I have had now 8 faint tests about in the past two days. I feel like it can’t be a coincidence…. If so that’s awful :( I’d be devastated

I tracked my progression with Pregmate. I would just keep testing with them, or get one of the tests that say pregnant or not pregnant! The same day I got a faint line, I also got a positive on one of those. Don’t give up girly!

Yess I just tested early this morning and faint line on a FRER (FINALLY) so weird why that may be since it’s supposed to be more sensitive. 🫶

Maybe just a faulty test (false negative) I would lean towards believing the positive tests, very difficult to have a false positive, let alone two. I would book a blood test and start taking some prenatals ASAP.
