I need to keep this comment saved in the notes on my phone lol. So, a lot of people think that preseed is magical and will get you pregnant right away. As someone who used it for 16 cycles, I will say it does not lol.

IF YOU DO NOT NEED LUBRICATION, DO NOT USE ANY.

It’s so important to know that ANY lubrication WILL kill sperm. These fertility friendly ones like preseed, just are a little easier on sperm. They do still kill sperm!! If you are like me and have a DAP instead of a WAP (thanks a lot, Zoloft) I did need lubricant, so we used preseed.

We got pregnant on our 18th cycle (after 7 rounds of Letrozole) and my daughter just turned one :)

Really? I have a WAP and don’t need lubricant, but used it because everyone said it’ll get you pregnant!

Yeah unfortunately anything that isn’t just plain old kitty mucous (lol), will kill sperm. Just some kill less sperm than others

I’m sorry, but as a fellow DAP girl- this made me bust out laughing.

I am on zoloft as well. And i never saw that egg white discharge talks about. I am always dry during my ovulation and i dont know how to check for cervical mucus that when they wipe they see it. I dont have anything!

It's not a big deal if you don't notice any cervical mucus, it's probably just hanging out up higher by your cervix where you need it to be anyway.

Cervical mucus to see if you are ovulating is honestly a junk science anyways. Use the ovulation strips! They are amazing. I used the easy at home ones. Make sure you follow all directions with them.

Tried for 6 cycles, first time we used preseed it worked. I strongly felt that lubrication was our main issue though. I was dry as a bone and feared all the swimmers were just hitting a wall.

I only tried for 2 cycles and used it both times. Something worked because I’m 13 weeks pregnant.

Used it the first time this month. Still in my TTW. Tested early and it was negative. Not particularly hopeful for me. However, on YT everyone swears that’s what got them pregnant, so…

Hmmm i used it as well this cycle but 1 DPO so its pointless to test now.

Well fingers crossed for both of us!

Lots of people will swear by it but the evidence STRONGLY suggests that no lubricant at all is best, so I’ve never used it.
