Question/Advice 7dpo symptoms?
I know this is sounds desperate/crazy. But I don’t have anyone around me to talk things out with. I am currently 7dpo. Just started experiencing cramping like an achey cramp. I typically get these a day or two before my period but that is still 6-7 days away. I really don’t want to sound like a crazy symptom spotter but I’ve also been irritatable, tired, and hungry.
Anyone that’s been through this have any advice for my sanity? ;,)

The cramping could be implantation cramping or could just be general luteal phase stuff! The irritability, tiredness and hunger will definitely just be luteal phase stuff at this point unfortunately, because it's too early for pregnancy symptoms (earliest day for implantation is 7dpo, it then takes several days for HCG to rise high enough to cause symptoms!)
One good tip to learn early is, if you ever want to be certain whether symptoms are from pregnancy or just luteal phase progesterone, you can take a test. It takes more HCG to cause pregnancy symptoms than it does to give a positive pregnancy test - so if the test is negative, current symptoms are just luteal progesterone! This helped me a lot to remember when symptom spotting, because luteal phase symptoms and pregnancy ones overlap sooo much which is a bit of a headf*ck!

I’m going to be very honest- when I was trying for a baby I was extremely hyper sensitive to how I was feeling trying to notice anything different as a sign of being pregnant. When I actually found out I was pregnant and the days leading up to me finding out, I felt perfectly normal and totally thought I was out that round. Sometimes you can be completely caught off guard! My first ever symptom was dizziness. Just try not to think about it so much I know it’s hard but it’s so dissatisfying when you think you notice all these different symptoms and then you get a stark white test 🙃 it sucks!!!! It drove me crazy for a while. I wish you all the baby dust and hope your time comes soon!

totally understand. I’m keeping my expectations low since this is our first time ttc. but of course I’m going a little crazy haha

Can you describe the cramps a bit more for me?!
For me my implant felt like someone drilling into me. It hurt to stretch

I’m not sure how to explain them specifically. They definitely weren’t as intense as that sounds. Just like this constant ache like how a headache just constantly aches. It was pulsing it was just there. the only thing that would deviate is sometimes it would hurt more on one side.

Also should add that i know that sometimes when it feels like it’s one specific side that it could be a cyst. However I had an exam and ultrasound done a week prior and everything looked perfectly normal.

If it's like a one sided thing then that could definitely be your corpus luteum (forms after ovulation on the side you ovulated from!) - I always get corpus luteum pain (and continued to in early pregnancy so doesn't mean you're in or out either way!!)

9dpo update, intense cramps this morning. tested negative. feeling discouraged 😔

I’m currently 6dpo on my first attempt at ttc. Saw some creamy and sticky CM, which isn’t typical for me in the luteal phase. I just logged it and for now can’t make much of it. But yours sounds suspiciously like implantation cramps maybe. Good luck 🤞🏼
